About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Jtime070 contributionsGreat traditional cooking experience with a local! This cooking class was great! Ria (the instructor) has a fantastic attitude and is open to any questions you may have about the dishes or her background in general. It makes for a truly unique experience. Her vast knowledge and “life hacks” when preparing both dishes is not something you would get out of a cookbook. It is well worth the money and she will do everything she can to make you feel welcome. A great experience all around! Madloba!Written January 6, 2024
- sailb20170 contributionsGreat wines and very accommodatingVery accommodating as we were late from a previous trip and they offered to delay start thankfully. - Paradise664299254750 contributionsdream trip, magical place, good peopleThe best thing that could happen to me in Tbilisi is the excursion "Georgian ethnos". It all started with a walk around the city, then an interactive lecture and a photo session in the museum of traditional Georgian costumes. Then we got to the center of Georgian folk dances, where we were taught in an hour and a half, and it was not just some kind of master class, but a specific training in Georgian dances. Now I know how to make the right movements, and not just wave my hands😊 The third location of this event was a Georgian-style party. We found ourselves in an unusually warm atmosphere, visiting a Georgian family, where they were already waiting for us and arranged a generous Georgian feast for us. I have not experienced such emotions for a very long time. We sang, we drank, we danced. We were taught how to make toasts, how to drink wine from a horn, and we were also taught how to properly prepare Georgian khinkali. Thank you so much for the experience you bring to your guests. If you want to start your acquaintance with Georgia in the right way, be sure to go to this event.Written May 14, 2023
- Stefan K0 contributionsAlternative tour of TbilisiThis is the second time I have booked an excursion with the Georgian Promenade and I am delighted with the high level of professionalism and responsibility of these guys. This time Valeri and his team introduced me to the Yezidis and their culture and customs. I used to think that this people lives only in the territory of modern Syria and Turkey, but it turns out that a large diaspora of Yezidis lives in Georgia, who still remember their language, traditions and culture. We also visited the Yezidi Temple "Ziarat" and talked with the mentors of this Temple and went to visit the Yezidi family, where we were treated to national sweets and sang songs in our native language. I recommend this tour if you want to learn more about the multinationality of Tbilisi.Written April 7, 2023

- Sightsee156949719370 contributionsGreat ExperienceWent to the event wine promenade with the whole family. We really liked the format of the tour organized by Valeri. In between visits to wineries, we had a full tour. We were very pleased with the friendly attitude of our guide, his deep knowledge and of course the tasting, which was provided to us at the highest level. Special thanks to the sommelier Zurab and the owner of the family cafe Herakli for their warm hospitality. On our next visit we will definitely visit their establishments.Written January 23, 2023
- 631leilav0 contributionsUnforgettable wine tour in Tbilisi. We were with my son on the whine promenade, which was organized by Valeri and his team. More than 15 varieties of wine from Georgian producers were produced in two wine cellars of the old city. Valeri turned out to be a very erudite and knowledgeable guide who told us a lot of interesting and useful information about his country and winemaking in Georgia. I give 5 stars and will recommend this event to my friends.Written January 22, 2023

- 981vicav0 contributionsСуперThanks Valeri for a wonderful experience. From the very beginning of the booking, everything was at the highest level. Valeri quickly responded to our request and gave us some tips on how to navigate the city. The experience itself took place in a warm, cheerful, positive atmosphere. In addition to information about wine, Valeri told us about the traditions and culture of his country and shared interesting facts about Georgia. For 3 hours we got acquainted with the history of the city, enjoyed its architecture and sights. Wine experts told us about the wine culture of Georgia. We have made dozens of new acquaintances in Georgia. I strongly recommend this excursion.Written December 13, 2022
- Оксана Н0 contributionsgood impressionAn amazing experience if you want to learn a lot about Georgia and wine. We tasted more than 10 different varieties in two establishments, and now we have a little better understanding of wine. The organizers, for their part, made us feel good by providing cheese slices and Georgian sweets for a snack, which was not actually included in the cost of the event. I will recommend this experience to my friends. Many ThanksWritten December 11, 2022

- Vladimir M0 contributionsAmazing tripGreat experience for getting to know the city and wine. In addition to an interesting wine tasting, our guide gave us a full tour of the city, which was very harmoniously combined with the main program. - F871QT_0 contributionsНезабываемая поездка а ГрузиюAmazing culinary evening in Tbilisi. Our guide Valeri met us and took us to an incredibly comfortable apartment to his relative, where you immediately feel at home. Irina turned out to be a very hospitable, kind and sincere person with an amazing sense of humor. Under the guidance of our mentor, we prepared two famous Georgian dishes - khinkali and khachapuri, after which we ourselves tried it all, it was incredibly tasty. Next, a pleasant surprise awaited us. Our guide organized for us a wonderful wine tasting in the best wine cellar in Tbilisi and a short walking tour of the old city, absolutely free. Thanks to 4 hours spent together with Valeri, we learned a lot of interesting and useful information about this beautiful country, its people, cuisine and wine. We are happy! Thank you Georgia!Written November 28, 2022
- lelik900 contributionsGreat wine experienceGreat experience. You definitely feel like a local having fun and meeting your guide is like walking with an old friend. We really liked the structure and presentation of information on this tour. Our guide Valeri knows the history of his country well and he answered all our questions. I would like to say special thanks to the guys from two wineries, who left a great impression about themselves about the knowledge of wine and their culture (unfortunately I didn’t remember their names😅) In each wine cellar we tried 5-7 varieties of wine and chacha☺️, but most of all we I liked the wine from the Cuevri. I recommend booking this tour at the very beginning of your trip to Georgia, it will give you a broad idea of the country, its identity and centuries-old wine-making culture. ❤️Written November 28, 2022

We are coming to Tbilisi for the second time and to Valeri for the second time.
This time we decided to go to the Supra in a real Georgian family, where we felt like visiting old friends. We drank delicious wine, cooked khinkali and khachapuri, danced, met and talked with other guests. Thanks to everyone who took part in organizing and holding such an event, thanks to you, now I can cook Georgian dishes and dance "Acharuli".😉😊

I got a last-minute confirmation for the Supra Fest. Valera picked me up in a taxi. He speaks perfect German! He taught me a lot about people and culture. At the Supra Fest, we were warmly welcomed by the host. We drank, celebrated and wished each other peace. A unique moment that I will never forget. Plenty to eat and drink :)

Amazing event, the staff at the company met us exactly where they said on on time. Mishi was our guide and spoke good level of English to give us a short tour and explanation of their city. He really showed how much Georgian’s are proud of their history and rich culture. They then organized a car to take us to the venue which is a beautiful house perched on top of the hill near the cathedral. The house has a wine cellar in the basement with buried earthen pots where they ferment the wine and Chaca. You start off with a shot of Chaca then led to a room where dinner is already laid out on the table. We were the only Americans there who spoke English, rest were from Russian speaking countries. Over many short speeches (HINT: Use google live translate on your phone) we enjoyed a wonderful evening with other guests and our hosts, listened to traditional Georgian music, and drank much Georgian wine learned to make Georgian dishes such as Khachapuri and Khinkali made for one of the most memorable evenings we had in Georgia, do not miss this one, it’s well worth the experience!

This is the best acquaintance with Georgia!
Insanely delicious treats, an abundance of homemade food, tasting of different varieties of wine and chacha, as well as a master class in cooking khinkali, khachapuri and shish kebab. What I liked the most was the Georgian dance class led by the brutal Georgian choreographer, Saba and his dance "Acharuli" won my heart.
I highly recommend attending this event, you won't regret it.
Special thanks to Valeri for the professional organization of our trip to Georgia. We will definitely come back for new experiences.

Thank you so much for a wonderful evening and an unforgettable experience.
After an exciting quest around the city, which our guide Valeri organized for us, we visited a hospitable Georgian family. From the first minutes there was a feeling that I came to close relatives. Very sincere hosts, taught us how to cook khinkali and khachapuri, and finally I managed to master the basic movements in Georgian dances. To be honest, I did not expect such a sincere and at the same time incendiary reception from the hosts. Thank you for creating such events.
100% recommendation!
