About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Mark L0 contributionsFabulous.Fascinating background to Georgia and its people. Our guide, 'K' had an encyclopedic knowledge of Georgian wine and Georgian history. Hit just the right balance of conversation and quiet thought couldn't recommend enough. Fabulous wine tasting locations and a full ten hour, 300 km trip.Written September 21, 2024
- 927sveint0 contributionsGreat experienceA long day with many interesting stops. We learned a lot about both baking, natural sweets and, not least, wine production. Lots of good wines and very nice hosts. Our guide, Alexandre, is incredibly knowledgeable and extremely friendly and patient.Written September 10, 2024
- 678gerhardp0 contributionsAuthentic GeorgiaIf you want to discover the real essence of Georgia, this is the tour for you! As part of a private tour we were emerged into the local traditional side of Georgian food and wine and enjoyed every single moment of this tour. Our driver and our tour guide, the two Georgi's were absolutely the best! Their love for their country and the knowledge of its history was excellent. They take you into authentic Georgia and give you an experience that is unforgettable. They share what it means to be Georgian with you and this gives a personal touch to a tour that truly is unique. From having bread and cheese next to the road to stopping at a beautiful vantage point where we bought peaches from a local fruit seller, this was a trip worth taking. The winemaker/owner at Okro's is somebody that clearly has a love for her wines, she is not shy to give you a general helping in tasting and really spoiled us with a great experience. She shares each bottle and its story with you, showing her profound knowledge on wine making. She is the sweetest human being and combined with the a breathtaking view, this felt like home. Lunch with the family was intimate and truly an experience, the food is delicious and the flavors beyond compare. The collection of old antiques and the history around the family, their house and what they are trying to build is inspiring. Visiting the cellar in the old Soviet bunker is truly the perfect way to end the trip and you get to experience the more touristy side to Georgia here. It is really something to walk into the old bunker that is now an operational wine cellar and be amazed by what can be achieved. I cannot recommend this tour enough and would do it again in a heartbeat should I return to Georgia. Best of luck to our Georgian friends.Written July 29, 2024
- Devyos830 contributions2000km in two weeks-private tourTsotne organized this private tour for us which included a large variety of experiences in different regions of the country . The logistics were perfect and the accommodations were all very comfortable. However it was the company of our driver George who tackled difficult and often congested roads with calm confidence and our informative and friendly guide Otto who made the holiday so memorable. If you are looking for a tailor made ,off the beaten track tour of Georgia, look no further and don’t forget to ask for the George and Otto teamWritten June 27, 2024
- Paradise414133297440 contributionsTsotne and guide Shotiko did an excellent job of proving us with the best experiencesTraffic Travel did a fabulous job. A big thank you to Tsotne and guide Shotiko. We enjoyed the trip so much that we can't wait to go back soon to re visit Georgia. Every single detail was taken care of.Written June 23, 2024
- Z7212ZOchristopherv0 contributionsToll Charges -visited Bay City in June 2023. Must have crossed a toll bridge becuase 1 year later i received a toll bill. While i don't dispute i crossed this bridge ($5.50 toll), they charged me $15.00 for late fee. Never received bill from city prior to this notice. Seems like a scam. Guess i will cross Bay City off my list on untrust worthy places to visit.Written May 23, 2024

- JaponesaLatina0 contributionsUnforgettable Trip Organized by Traffic TravelI saw the high rating of their services on Tripadvisor so I contacted them directly via email for a private tour departing from Kutaisi, not from Tbilisi. Tsotne, the CEO, wrote to me with a suggested itinerary - we exchanged emails to modify it to my likings, and he patiently helped to modify and confirm. I usually travel without engaging with a travel agency, but since I had my mom (65+) and my son (7), I wanted it to be smooth and stress-free, so I decided to engage with them. When we arrived, we were welcomed by the guide Otto and the driver George - from there, we had an amazing time the entire time. We all had different preferences - I wanted history and hiking, my son wanted adventure and snow, and my mom wanted to learn as many thing as possible about Georgia, despite her limitation of speaking English. All of our wishes were made true! The trip was pleasant and memorable for all of us - we could visit many places, learned about the diversity of the history in different places, and enjoyed every moment! Driving from a place to a place was long, but Otto's intriguing history tellings and George's funny comments made the driving super fun. My favorite was a hike we did in Mestia - we hiked for 3.5 hours in total, which was perfect for all of us. The entire trip was peaceful, smooth and informative - we fell in love with the beautiful Georgia and its rich nature, culture, history, culinary and kind people. Highly recommend if anyone wants an unforgettable trip :)Written April 16, 2024

Great wine tasting with a phenomenal view of Kakheti, followed by more wine tastings and local luch at a traditional house. - adrieltjokro0 contributionsSimply Magical and Will Make You SpeechlessI’m so glad that I took this trip! Tusheti is such an off-the-beat trip and I love everything about this trip: the magical sceneries, the off-the-beat road, the people I met, the small-village life, and so on. Giorgi, being my guide + driver for the entire 3 days, was excellent. He was professional, entertaining, and a great person to spend the 3 days with. Everything about this trip is just so memorable and I can’t wait to go there again in the future!Written August 11, 2023
