About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- DrMikeDubai0 contributionsClean and helpful Hop On-Hop off tour. The bus was clean and your people were polite and helpful. The English recordings and information were about 300m behind each sight or building as we rode. 2x15min stops through the short tour were a little much.Written April 1, 2024
- inosikov0 contributionsSpecial thanks to Natia Kekelia for amazing service and great attitudeUsed Hop on Hop off services during last weekend in Tbilisi. Would like to recognize and express gratitude to Natia Kekelia who helped us to match the best excursions for as well as assisted with general information and tips about the city. She was very kind, professional, and helpful. I would recommend using her help next time you visit Tbilisi.Written January 28, 2020
- mohammedny0 contributionsAmazing city tourIt turned out to be a private tour as I was the only one who booked but it was great. The old town is lovely and the guide took me to some beautiful places, always paying attention to my needs and was very knowledgeable. Definitely recommended, and I got some fantastic pictures too!Written January 12, 2020
- JehanCarew0 contributionsWorth the money ! Great tour guides!Beautiful CultureDefinitely worth doing the hop on and hop off tour. We start all of the city in this way and loved it. Also there was a great deal to have excursions outside of the city. It was breathtaking and the tour guides were well versed, spoke clearly. Best thing we ever did to explore Georgia for the first time.Written January 2, 2020
- Katy G0 contributionsBest city tourThis was by far the best city tour I have done. The guide was great and very knowledgeable . I was the only English speaker in the group and he made sure everything was explained and translated for me . So much more personal and informative than an open top bus with pre recorded commentary - thank you so muchWritten October 6, 2019
- henry r0 contributionsKazbegi - Georgian Military RoadAppalling service from this company. Not only did they cancel the trip at the very last minute, but they provided no alternative or explanation, even on request. Please be careful before booking with this company.Written August 17, 2019

- linda w0 contributionsExcellent introduction to TbilisiHaving done several 'hop on-hop off' bus tours in various holiday destinations we decided to spend our first day in Tbilisi on the red line city sightseeing bus. The complete circuit is 90 minutes long as is worth completing. We then decided where to get on and off for the second circuit. It wasn't too busy and we easily got good seats. The commentary was a little late and we were upon the site when the commentary began, but as ghevyeaffic was flow moving, it didn't spoil it. Lile, our tour guide was amazing, she could not have been more helpful and went over and above for us when we rejoined the bus later that night. We asked her to recommend us a good Georgian restaurant, which she did. She even phoned them to check they had availability!! During a 10 minute stop at Freedom square and to speed up our visit to the restaurant, she hailed us a taxi which took us straight to restaurant door. She even phoned the restaurant to check that we had arrived safely and were happy with her recommendation! Thank you do much! This young lady is an asset to the company!!!!Written May 31, 2019
- 212patrickj0 contributionsFirst class experience of touring TbilisiLela our guide should be at the top of the ladder in the tourism business. She is charming, engaging and helpful. The almost aerial view of this beautiful city was educational and entertaining.Written May 26, 2019
- Nufi20100 contributionsDon’t do itWe did quite a few of the offered cruises. No mater, the city tour is not worth it. The information you get during the cruise, is really simple. A lot of (non Georgien Music ) mixed with q view already known facts / don’t do itWritten May 24, 2019
- malcolmyd0 contributionsA bus tour and walking tour rolled into one! This specific Hop-on-hop-off tour is run by the outlet adjoining the Onegin Rooms hotel on Pushkin Street at Freedom square. Not to be confused with other Hop-on-hop-off services because of the very unique nature of this tour which consists of a few stops but is actually a combination of a bus tour and walking tour with an very informed guide. You don't really get off this bus because it is a full tour. The one we took had the excellent Mika, who spoke very good English and despite the fact that my wife and I were the only English speaking guests on the bus, she did a wonderful job of ensuring that we were always part of the experience and never once felt left out. The full tour is the one to take as this provides the best value for money. This covers Tbilisi City and includes the Jvari Monastery and Mtskheta township. They provide a bottle of water at the reception at the strat of the tour but given the almost full day nature of the tour, I'd suggest you carry another water bottle with you. The stops cover some of the key areas but the most interesting part for us was always the walking tours where Mika would explain the background and history of the specific landmark and surroundings. Her knowledge of the background of monuments and history of Tbilisi is simply outstanding. Included in our itinerary was a stop of the largest Cathedral of Tbilisi - The Holy Trinity Cathedral. A magnificent building, though new, with a large area adjoining the Cathedral itself. When there, do try the special juice at the Café in the complex. There are some 4 flavours to choose from. The views from the Jvari Monastery are simply beautiful and you can see the whole town of Mtskheta below. Before you reach Mtskheta I strongly suggest you have a bite or carry something to eat while walking along. The one hour you get at Mtskheta on this tour may just be ok to sightsee the area provided you don't spend much time on a hot meal at a restaurant, which takes time to prepare and serve. All in all it was a lovely experience of a bus tour and walking tour rolled into one. We thoroughly enjoyed it.Written April 20, 2019
- BEth T0 contributionsAwesomeMe and my niece Grace had a wonderful time touring the city with Natalia as our guide, who was very knowledgeable about the history of each sight we went to. We didn’t feel tired at all considering we took a walk for almost 4 hours. I would definitely recommend Natalia to my friends who will come to TBILISI.Written February 28, 2019
- mr_gosteev0 contributionsGreat tour!We was on Bodbe-Signagi-Winandali-Telavi tour and had awesome guide Alexander who was real friendly and described all different placed along the road. I would definitely recommend this tour.Written February 25, 2019
- Omid S0 contributionsWonderful experience, great tour guidesA friend of mine recommended Hop on Hop off to us and we were greeted by the lovely owner of the agency and their kind and patient employee, Maria, who explained all the different excursions they offered. The first day we decided to take the city tour, which was nice and of a reasonable price. We were in a bus full of Russians and our guide, Miko Shakhdinarian, was kind enough to give all the explanations in English to us, too. Also there was a voice guide in English which was very useful. Miko gave us a lot of valuable information about the old town of Tbilisi and many of the monuments. We were also very fortunate to see a baptism ceremony in the Sameba Cathedral. Miko was very professional, attentive and spoke good English. The same day we bought a tour of Kakheti (apparently joined with a partner agency) in which the next day we visited the Boodbe Monastery, Saint Nina cathedral, one of the oldest in Georgia, the red wine factory, a stop on the road to enjoy the local bread and cheese of Kakheti, and the city of love, Signagi where we had lunch together with a group of Russians, which were amazing and very kind. This excursion couldn't have been spectacular without the brilliant, amazing, talented and very hospitable guide, Julia. She gave us so much valuable information about all the sites and cared about all the individuals in the group, specially us. We will never forget her stories and sense of humor and kind heart. I definitely recommend Hop On Hop Off to all travelers.Written January 25, 2019

The trip was canceled the day before as there supposedly were not enough people. They said that they tried to call me. I wrote them several times through the Trip Advisor Application, but they don’t answer. I am concerned that this may be a scam. I will keep trying to get my money back!

Hello,
We have to inform the TripAdvisor users that your report is 100% false and deceitful.
Moreover, we have a suspection that you wrote a false review on purpose.
All out telephone calls and messages are recorded.
First you gave us the wrong telephone number, we kept calling you beforehand to inform you about the cancellation but you phone number was wrong. Than we wrote you a letter and only the day before the tour you sent us the correct phone number. You knew about this fact but you still wrote in the review that we called you only the day before though you knew that previously you gave us the wrong phone number.
Thus, this is the first fact of your lie which is written on purpose.
When finally we contacted you informing about the cancellation and full refund, the next day you called us in a hysterical manner screaming that you need a refund. We explained you several times that you don't have to worry, that your money is with TripAdvisor not with us and TripAdvisor will refund back to your account. But you refused to understand elementary information, threatening us that you will come to our office and call the police, that you needed the money right away. Don't you know that if you pay to TripAdvisor by card, so you will get the refund also from TripAdvisor and also to your account! But you kept screaming that you need your money back from us. How else could we explain you such elementary things.
We even sent you the copy of the e mail from TripAdvisor confirming you that the full refund was sent to you.
And even knowing about this confirmation you still write lies in TripAdvisor review that you did not get your money back!
This is another fact of false information given from you on purpose.
On the base of these FACTS we get the profound opinion that you are giving false information on purpose to spoil our reputation. This looks like a scheme from your side and not from ours. And such behaviour is called SLANDER.
We have all the facts and proves of this and we are informimg TripAdvisor and it's users about your indecent actions towards us. It looks like you are acting on behalf of our competitors.
On top of all you are running away from the responsibility. We called you to clear out the situation and to inform you once again that you were fully refunded but you didn't want to listen and hang up.
So, we have to reply to your false review so that the users would know the real facts and because we don't want that our reputation suffer due to the absolutely false review.
It's not a civilized behaviour from your side.
