      Something unique, worth trying!!
The true faces of the Myanmar can be met if you go for this unique tour, which you can explore a small village outside of Yangon and get a chance to observe how ordinary Burmanese live their daily life.  I joined this tour on 26 Dec 2019, booked via Tripadvisor, and was led by a local certificated guide . We took a ferry from Yangon to reach the village and went for bike riding. During the bike riding, we stopped at a few stops such as a traditional market, a local coffee shop for tea break, and a souveinor shop. The village is humble and authentic ,not artifically sugarcoated for foreign tourists. It is far different from where I come from and live, giving me a lot of thoughts about the gap between developed countries and developing countries. The tour did show me how real Burmanese live their daily lifes outside of usual tourists scenes. (but I think some people at the mentioned spots are familiar with tourists already, they were very calm when serving us)When I saw traditional houses, schools, farming, markets, honestly I was thinking like, how can they live under such conditions? To me, the quality of life there seemed something really poor and miserable....however, to my surprise, local people I met during the bike riding looked happy. They waved at me and say hello! when I was passing by them. The smiling face of innocent kids comforted me, making me forget about small problems of life.    As this is a private tour, you can expect 1 to 1 instruction and commentary provided by the tour guide so can use this as a chance to get to understand the country and people by asking questions to the guide! Be aware that the time duration for this tour is almost 3-hour, and takes place under the hot weather. If you are not confident or unsure if your physical conditions and steminar would be fit for 3-hour of bike riding, you'd better not try this tour.

Great food and fantastic train ride
Tour was amazing. Guide Myo Thet spoke great english and had great knowledge, answered all my questions. I really enjoyed the train ride and food she chosen for me. I would recommend to to anyone stoping by in Yangon. You can learn a lot about history and experience first hand daily life within few hours.

      3hr afternoon cycle tour
We booked in the morning (via Dreamy Destinations website) and was easy to get availability for same day afternoon. Easy to What's App office. Htet, our young guide was fantastic. Take a public ferry across river to car free roads (although lots of bikes and motorcycles) and cycle around flat rural lands. Great way to find local things and Htet was great

A great way to see the other side of Yangon
We booked this as a tour for two and really enjoyed it. Meeting our guide Tet at the Independence Memorial allowed us to cross the river using the public ferry. I’m so glad we got to do this. Mixing with the crowds as we boarded, travels and got off the ferry is a good way to see local people going about their lives. The other side of the river is less developed and will remain like this until a new bridge is built. We were able to ride around the labyrinth of streets in the area. Many people live in small wooden shacks, however there seems to be a strong sense of community. The children were happy and friendly, calling out ‘hello’ and giving us ‘hi-fives’ as we rode past. My only complaint was that the bike as a little small for my 185cm hight. There was plenty of bottled water available and we made some interesting stops. This is not the tour you want if you are frail, or prefer to see things from an air conditioned coach.

      Grate food tour plus train
Tour is amazing. Guide answer all questions, we have a random conversation with our guide Myo Gyi, all about Myannar, things along the way are interesting as well. Of course we try food recommended by our guide, food we shouldn't miss. Recommend it.

      Yangon Walking Tour
I just came back from a 2 hour delightful walking tour with Tinzar. Not only was she was wonderfully friendly, but she spoke exceptional English, and she was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about Yangon and Myanmar’s history in the short time I spent on this tour. At the end, Tinzar even took me to a tea house so I could try tea leaf salad for the first time. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a walking tour in Yangon!

This tour is a short circle around the main city center, but gives a great overview of the history of Myanmar and the historic buildings that make up the city center. Ei Thinzar was a wonderful guide and I really enjoyed ending the tour with conversation, tea and green tea salad in a nearby tea shop.

Sandra was a wonderful tour guide! Even though it was raining during the entire tour, she managed to show some of the highlights with good narratives.
Sandra took into account our needs, taking breaks and tour-detours accordingly. I would recommend this tour, and especially Sandra, to all those visiting Yangon.

In spite of the nonstop rain, we showed up for the Yangon Walking Tour (Culture), much to the relief of our cute, charming, and well-read guide Myo Gyi. As a student, Myogi studied English Literature, and now teaches basic English, and does tour guiding part time. We picked him because previous reviewers mentioned that he talks about politics and history, which we enjoy. We were not disappointed. We started at The Independence Monument at Maha Bandula Park, beginning with the stories of the 1988 Democracy Uprising and the 2007 Saffron Revolution, as he pointed to where they marched for freedom. I got emotional straightaway. We visited many colonial era buildings, some repurposed as government offices, some left in ruins, but still occupied, each of them filled with Myogi's charm and humour. During the tour he made a stop by a small book vendor by the roadside who sells political books as if it was street food and recommended us "from the land of green ghosts" by student revolutionary Pascal Khoo Thwe. We ended the tour by wishing him all the best for the democratic movement in Myanmar, and that as neighbour we may stand together in hope.

I was very lucky to be the only tourist for this tour as I had a great experience with the guide, Myo Gyi. He showed me around the city and shared so much details about the history, people and politics of Yangon. The tour is interesting as he also asked me questions where I have to use my own limited knowledge to handle these questions. I would definitely highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide Myogyi was really nice and informative! He was open for all of our questions and we learned a lot about the burmese culture. It is a perfect start to learn about this beautiful country, when you arrive in Yangon!
You get to walk around the indian quarter and he shows you a place you would not be able to find by yourself! He also gives some infos about the history of the town and shows some pictures to explain things.

Thanks again, Myogyi, for this really nice tour with you and that you took your time for all of our questions!

This was a great tour that took us through unique parts of the city. We learned many interesting facts about the different cultures and religions of the people who live in Yangon. The tour ended with us sitting in a local tea shop and trying different types of food together. Myogyi, our guide, has great English and answered all of our questions!
