Great tour of Yangon
We spent an afternoon with Linn touring Yangon. He took us to all of the sights while providing commentary along the way. It was a great trip and would recommend him to anyone visiting Yangon.

Fascinating City
We couldn’t have picked a better way to see the city. Lin (our guide) was very knowledgeable and very friendly. As we had the full day, and just the two of us, RoadtoBurma was good enough to mix up the standard tour to provide us something more in line with our interests (walking city tour).

Yangon & Bagan 5 days tour
We had a great trip to Yangon and Bagan thanks to the RoadtoBurma Team. Prior to our arrival in Myanmar, Andrew from RoadtoBurma was very responsive in replying to our enquiries and provided revised itineraries which were tailored to our pace and preferences. We arrived at Yangon in the evening and the driver Mr. Khin Saw arrived on time to pick us up at the airport for the transfer to the hotel. Our first full day in Yangon comprised of touring the city by boarding the circular train followed by trisaw which was an interesting experience. Our tour guide Mr. Linn was very friendly and enthusiastic in bringing us around different spots in the city including the Reclining Buddha and the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Mr. Linn also brought us to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch and treated us at a tea house which showcased the locals’ daily lives. Our three days in Bagan was equally enjoyable. Our tour guide Mr. Aung Thu Moe was very knowledgeable about the 10+ temples and pagodas which we visited in Bagan and the Mount Popa area. On top of that, Mr. Aung was a wonderful photographer who helped us take photo after photo (including taking the initiative to take wide angle and portrait shots!). He also brought us around to local food markets, tea houses, a Lacquer workshop and a jetty to cruise the river during sunset which added variety to our itinerary. Our driver in Bagan was also courteous and helpful with cold water and wet towels ready after the temple visits. Our flight back to Yangon was smooth and our second driver was also on time in transferring us back to the hotel. Our last half day in Yangon with Mr. Linn and the driver was also a relaxing time visiting the British colonial style buildings and the Aung San Market. My one piece of advice is to bring along a pair of flip flops especially in the Bagan area as visitors are required to walk barefoot in the temple areas during your consecutive visits to various temples within hours. You may also wish to take note of the dress code for temple visits and other important information which is helpfully compiled by RoadtoBurma in their emails. All in all, my experience with RoadtoBurma was enjoyable and I would highly recommend RoadtoBurma as your host to the beautiful country.

Flexible and Very Fun
Our first day in Myanmar and Linn showed us a great time and was very flexible in arranging everything. He described everything to us, brought us to some great food, local tea houses, a 45 min ride on the circular train and the most famous temples and pagodas in Yangon.

Nice but a little long for the very young
We knew going in that this tour might be a little long for the little one but we’d read that the tour guides were flexible enough to move things around. Rosie was great at this. She was a real help. She also took some great photos for us. So while it’s a long tour she was definitely proactive in helping us rearrange to get the most out of it. As for the tour itself I liked the train and main pagoda but there’s also not as much going on as you might find in Thailand

Recommended Yangon City Tour
City tour was a very good experience with our local tour guide Jack. He is knowledgeable and able to speak fluent english. His explanation has helped us to understand myanmar history and culture more deeply. Both him and his driver were very accommodative and friendly. The tour to Shewdegon Palace was the highlight, beautiful pagoda. Recommended eateries were at the renowed Rangoon Teahouse and Royal Garden restaurant where we were able to taste the traditional dish Mohinga. Overall experience was good and highly recommended to all who wish to cover Yangon history within a day but, not rushed.

Excellent tour guide and driver!!
I had a Myanmar trip with my daughter 9 years old. She was not used to monsoon weather and I was worried, however one day tour in Yangon with Mr. Linn and Mr. Khin made our trip excellent and enjoyable. They prepare for water bottles, wipes, and always care about our condition. I definitely recommend the travel agency! Thank you for the great experience.

Lovely & Amazing Myanmar Trip
We are couple from Turkey and we have never been to Myanmar. This is our first visit to Myanmar and we have a lot of options before we make the tours with Roadtoburma. Although we found many tour operators in Myanmar before we decided to go there, we just confirmed with Roadtoburma Travel for less expensive 10 Days trip. We love this generous and warm hearted Myanmar People, and also we do appreciate with their services all of our stays in Myanmar. The Tour Guide Lynn was very professional and organized the best trip for our memorable days along the trip. Thank you so much Lynn and Andrew from Roadtoburma Travel, they served immediately with their best arrangements whenever we requested to skip some raining places. Everything was smooth and strongly recommend to Roadtoburma Travel.

Our unforgettable travel experience during 'green season'
We are a group of 3 women that loves travelling. Our trip to Myanmar lasted 16 days. We carefully planned it with the help of Andrew for months before going. Andrew was always extremely helpful, always answered our e-mails right away, always solved any questions we had and strove to improve our own ideas for the trip even more. With his help we made our dreamy itinerary to Myanmar. We traveled with a Toyota super custom van. We started our traveling experience with a full day Yangon city tour and next we visited Bago,Taungoo, Kalaw, Pindaya, Inle Lake, Pyin Oo Lwin, Hsipaw, Mandalay, Mingun, Amarapura, Sagaing, Ava and Bagan. It was truly a magical experience. Our driver Mr. Khin Zaw, was always willing to assist us and was very discreet. He also seemed vary capable of handling any difficulties on the road. The last day of our trip i chose to return by plane to Yangon, Andrew willing to help, like always, booked me tickets and made arrangements for me to be picked up at the airport by the very helpful and kind driver Mr. Zaw. Together with Mr. Zaw we visited the National Races Village. All 3 of us feel ecstatic with our visit to the Magical Myanmar. We loved the friendly and always smiling people. A part of our soul will always remain to this mystical country. We always felt happy and safe traveling with Roadtoburma! We strongly recommend it!

Wonderful guide and Driver turn a disastrous day into an enjpoyable one
it was a wet and rainy day throughout the duration of the tour..The guide Jack and driver Cho has to improvise an altered routine for us. We have to skip most of the intended walk about and open sites . Instead we move along by car with enjoyable Chats and interesting episodes of the country and City and its people by Jack and the slow careful cruising by Cho make us feel safe and comfortable. We were however brought to the main sites of Sweedagon Pagoda and the Reclining Buddha and we choose to cancel visit to Boyoke Market too. But overall the drive enabled us to pass by more sites of the city and observed the life of the city folks. In all Jack and Cho must be commended for our broad smile of satisfaction after a long hard day! Fun!
