- TarnPPTravel0 contributionsGreat day in YangonI found this tour in tripadvisor and start contact them on Whatsapp. The response is quick and nice. Our guide, Mu, pick us at the airport. His knowledge about places are excellent. His English is easy to understand. The tour is customized to our need. We get to go inside more pagodas. All pagodas are unique and elegant. The tour upgrade us to Alphard, which is so comfortable. This tour is great if you are thinking about seeing Yangon in one day. I think I will be back to go to other places with them. Myanmar is beautiful with lots of historic places. PS. Mu bring us to the famous market and let us walk around by ourself. He never try to sell us anything.Written January 21, 2024

- joshuatT354CM0 contributionsGreat tour of Yangon.I had an amazing tour, the tour guide was very helpful and gave me great information. I also got to see amazing culture and History of Yangon, the Temples, Colonial buildings, and parks were incredible.Written September 3, 2023
- bjcaus0 contributionsGreat introduction to YangonThis trip was outstanding. My guide, Ms San San Shwe was a font of knowledge, carefully planned the day to correspond with the heat and was happy to oblige with a side trip to ‘The Lady’s House’ to satisfy a bit of hero worship on my part. The circular railway was a great deal of fun also, but it was Ms Shwe’s knowledge, bubbly enthusiasm and obvious love of her country that won me over. If this is your first time in Myanmar, this is a must do tour. I was sooooo impressed.Written February 23, 2020
- Puka80 contributionsNothing less than perfectThe guide had picked us up from the airport and we went to the Golden Rock. On the way we stopped to see the monks at the temple, and give them some elms. Good speaking English, and knowledgeable guide made this trip very good and enjoyable.Written February 13, 2020

A big thanks to Mr Kaung Myat Oo for the great support and kindness from the beginning duirng the trip organization phases as well as thorought all the tour. All the guides and drivers were very competent, kind and knowledgeable in all the cities I had the pleasure to visit and all trasportation arrangements the from one city to another went very smoothly. I didn't have any kind of troubles or delays since all the tour details were simply perfectly organized. Higlhy reccomended agency and once again a big thank to all for the kind and highly competent support that made this trip simply unforgettable.Written January 10, 2020
- mac89150 contributionsYangon City TourOur guide, Sinshe (hope I spelt it correctly) picked us up from our hotel on time, she explained in perfect english what we were going to do and where we were going first, we then left and went to our first stop which was the Pagoda, this was wonderful to see and we understood more from it through what Sinshe was telling us, we both felt enlightened at the end of this visit, it was peaceful and a wonderous site to see. From there we went to see the Lady Buddah, a hugh lying down Buddah of which is one of the biggest, the transformation from when it was built and what it is today was fascinating and is a must see. We then went downtown to see the lovely colonial buildings. We walked round, which was very relaxing and all the time Sinshe was telling us about the area. We stopped at the Rangoon Tea House for lunch and sampled a few of the local dishes, all of these were lovely but the favourite was the byriani. After lunch we went to the scottish market, I think it was, where we had time to walk round and sample the local handicrafts as well as jewellery before headin to the train station for our train ride, it was standing room only but the draft we got from the open doors was much needed. The traders on the train selling their wares and the lady making the salads on request was great to watch. Sinshe made it a very special day, she was very knowledgable and I can't recommend this tour enough, I'd do it again and again if I could.Written January 8, 2020

- jamesrO6797QM0 contributionsTour to BaganWe strongly recommend Kaung and his company. We were on cruise stopping 4 days in Yangon. We were met on the pier by our guide and driver. We toured the major sights in Yangon and then caught a 3pm flight to Bagan. We were met by our guide San, who was wonderful. We went to sunset and then returned to our hotel for a leisurely evening and swim. The highlight of our trip was next day, our Balloon ride at sunrise. There are 4 companies and we highly recommend Balloons Over Bagan. We choose the premium service. The differences are better more experienced and passionate pilot, only 8 versus 16 people, and a if that was not enough a fully catered breakfast by Sharkey’s at our landing sight. The set up a camp like kitchen as if you were on Safari and we had cooked to order eggs, the famous Sharkey Charcuterie plate and cheese all served with champagne. Our guide met us at the hotel and we embarked on fabulous tour starting with the market and getting our Longyis as well as lots of pictures. We toured the larger famous pagodas but then went off to see the smaller ones where no one was. Having a guide abd just two of us was fantastic. Our return trip was easy the next morning to Yangon and our driver took us to the Strand Hotel for Lunch. Everything was flawless, meticulously organized and our guides very special. Kaung customizes everything for you and the guides are very flexible to meet your needs. Highly recommend this company. When we return, we will have Kaung organize our journey. The country is very special and thus company is the best.Written December 2, 2019
- danielsW6125RT0 contributionsAmazing Tour, great Guide! It was an amazing Tour around the Mount Zwegabin with stops at the important sights. Our guide Diamond was very kind and open minded. He told us everything we wanted to know, a lot about culture and life in myanmar. Lunch was delicious. The total tour was about 60 km (~9 hours). The Bikes were technically very good. We totally recommend this tour. Best way to get to know the culture and people around Hpa-an! Thank you, very much!Written November 4, 2019

- Departure850710 contributionsBest expierience with Good Life Myanmar Tour Operator!!!!We traveled 16 days with Good Life Myanmar in March 2019. The planning and communication before the trip was totally great, responses very fast and intelligent. During our stay, from the arrival in Yangon until our departure in Yangon, there was not one thing that went wrong. It could not have been better. We had several flights in Myanmar and different tour guides, which was great. All the time we were picked up on time, everybody was friendly and nice and they took the best care ever of us. We visited all the highlights in this wonderful country and still found time to spend 3 days at the beach. Hotels were perfect, transportation comfortable. Thank you soooo much for making this a wonderful unforgettable trip.Written April 30, 2019
- travelleruk190 contributionsGreat tour by a organised and professional company. The Bago full day tour is a great day trip out of Yangon. Bago is a former capital and has loads of history to discover but feels more like an authentic Myanmar town, which makes it a nice contrast to the city experience in Yangon. The tour was well organised and included all the main sites there are to see, plus some extras like the WWII cemetery, the local market and a monk monastery. The tour guide was very helpful and informative and made the trip a joy. Also when I realised I forgot some possessions on the trip, they went out of their way to retrieve it and drop the item off at the hotel the next day!Written February 12, 2019

Have you ever thought about going to Myanmar? I have, and after seeing many enticing pictures, and videos taken by many adventurous souls. I decided to investigate. In doing so I came across a company called Good Life Myanmar, and I inquired! In doing so I got a very prompt response from Mr. Kaung Myat Oo, who thoroughly answered all my questions regarding flights, obtaining a visa, accommodations, payments, tour inclusions and exclusions, and of course cancellation policy, and safety. Mr. Kaung made me feel very confident that it was going to be an unforgettable trip, not to be missed. I quickly made my reservation and payment, and what a trip it was!!!
This past summer I was fortunate enough to experience nine uniquely incredible countries, and yet the country that I knew the least about, except what I heard in the news turned out to be the trip of a lifetime. From the minute I landed to the moment I left every moment was adventure filled. Yes, and in case you are wondering if Myanmar is safe, I will tell you this, there was never a moment that I felt afraid or unsafe. The people of Myanmar were very friendly and treated me with kindness wherever I went. All the guides and drivers that were with me throughout my adventure were next level. If it was their mission to make each and every moment of my trip extraordinary, then they hit the ball out of the park, and succeeded admirably. I could tell you about all the amazing highlights of my eight day trip including my favorite moments but it would be like a long highlight real, and it would deprive you of experiencing things in Myanmar the way I did for the fist time, and believe me it was absolutely amazing!!! I have included a number of photographs to give you an idea of what I experienced on my own incredible journey. Enjoy!
with Kind Regards,
Rick M.

All went smoothly with highest quality of service and accommodations. People welcoming and beloved. All went out of way to provide the best possible service, food, water,.,. and comfort. I felt at home in all. Myanmar has a long way to go regarding animal welfare The street dogs and cats are overpopulated and starving and dying. If anyone wants to join me in efforts to convince the government to initiate sterilization programs I would be appreciative.
My appreciation for a wonderful time and please relay my gratitude to all the personnel both in the hotels and the tour guides.
Good Life accommodated all needs and I recommend this company with the highest regard.

We are a group of 6 seniors who just returned from Myanmar. Our tour was booked through Good Life Myanmar Travels and Tours. Thanks to Kaung Myat Oo, our trip was very well organized and we got to see all the highlights we wanted to see. The hotels were great despite the summer brownouts. Our best guides were our Bagan guide and our Inle guide – thank you. Myanmar local food is quite delicious and everyone should sample them

We had amazing two weeks in Myanmar, no problems at all. All four tour guides are very friendly, competent and spoke good English. All hotels was really nice and clean. Highlight was the Lightning festival in Inle lake, we was very lucky to be there right on time. Service included more fees and taxes that we could expect. After 8-days tour the Good Life Myanmar travel company organized for us airplane tickets and resort in Ngapali beach, what was also wonderful.
