Day 1: Yangon - Bago

Stop At: Shwethalyaung Buddha, Bago Myanmar
The Shwethalyaung Buddha is one of the largest reclining Buddha images in Burma. It is housed in the Shwethalyaung Paya in Bago, an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists who come here to pay homage to the Buddha.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Shwemawdaw Paya, Bago Myanmar
t 114 metres (374 ft) in height, the Shwemadaw holds the record for the tallest pagoda in the country although the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon is usually credited as the tallest pagoda in Myanmar (at 98 metres (322 ft)). Shwemadaw, along with the Shwedagon and Kyaiktiyo, are famous Mon pagodas.

anbawzathadi Golden Palace in Bago is a reconstruction of the original Royal palace from the second half of the 16th century. The very ornate golden palace gives a good impression of the splendor and wealth of the second Burmese empire.

Day 2: Bago - Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda

Stop At: Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, Mar Lar Hpu, Myanmar (Burma)
A huge boulder covered by gold leaf and balancing on the edge of a cliff. Golden Rock is one of Myanmar's main pilgrimage sites. The pagoda here is said to hold a hair of the Buddha and Buddhist from across the country come here to pay homage.

Day 3: Kyaikhtiyo - Hpa an

Stop At: Bayin Nyi Caves, Hpa An Myanmar
Bayin Nyi Cave is home to an elaborate and sprawling temple, with plenty of almost Disney-esque coloured buildings laid out at the foot of sheer limestone cliffs.

Day 4: Hpa-an

Stop At: Kyauk Ka Lat Pagoda, Hpa-An, Hpa An Myanmar
Hpa-an’s Kyauk Kalat Pagoda is a stunning stupa-topped limestone pinnacle, set on a tiny isle dotted with monastic buildings itself set in a lake fluttering with white egrets and surrounded by paddy. With Mount Zwegabin as the dramatic backdrop, it’s a gorgeous sight.

Stop At: Kawgun Cave, Hpa An Myanmar
One of the region’s most spectacular caves, Kawgun is found in a small limestone outcrop just over the river from Hpa-an off the Thaton Highway. Amazing Buddhist carvings and stucco work line the shallow caverns and limestone cliffs, and are said to date back as far as the seventh century. A few ancient Hindu images remain and bear witness to the area’s former religious diversity.

Stop At: Sadan Cave, Hpa An Myanmar
A visit to wonderful Saddar Cave is one of Kayin State’s highlights. The limestone karst scenery of Zwegabin and the numerous jagged, mountainous outcrops sprouting abruptly from the paddy surrounding Hpa-an host myriad spectacular caves. Saddar (sometimes written Saddan) involves a cave temple but also a hike through underground passages to the far side of a mountain and a return by wooden boat. It really is something special.

Day 5: Hpa-an - Mawlamyine

Stop At: Kyaikthanlan Pagoda, Taung Yoe Dan Street, Mawlamyine Myanmar
the city’s main landmark. Built in 875 AD, this temple enshrines the Tripitaka Buddhist manuscripts as well as a hair relic from the Buddha. The 40-meter-high stupa is located on a hill surrounded by 34 smaller Zediyan pagodas. From the top, guests can enjoy panoramic views over the city and harbor. It is also thought to be the site where Rudyard Kipling wrote his famous poem, Mandalay.

Day 6: Mawlamyine - Excursion to Shampoo and Bilu Islands

Pass By: Kyaikthanlan Pagoda, Taung Yoe Dan Street, Mawlamyine Myanmar
you will set off for a full day of excursions on the water.Take a short boat ride to Ta Kaw PonZa Lai, Shampoo Island. The island sits at the confluence of five rivers and is where the Mon Kings held ritualistic shampooing ceremonies during the local water festival, Thingyan. Spend time here exploring the monastery, nunnery and pagoda. Next, continue to BiluKyun, known as Ta Kaw SaMan in Mon, which means ‘Orge Island’.

Day 7: Mawlamyine - Yangon

Pass By: Yangon Yangon, 339 Bogyoke Aung San Road Sakura Tower Rooftop, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
Visit to the bustling colorful Zeigyi (central market). Wander through the dozens of stalls where local vendors come to buy and sell their wares.Next, you will visit the ancient Queen Sein Don Monastery (locally known as YadaBonmyint Monastery). This monastery is more as 100 years-old and is famous for the intricate woodcarving and Burmese crafts it houses. It was founded by Queen Sein Tone who had to flee Mandalay at the time that Myanmar’s last monarch, King Thibaw Min, took power. She became home sick and asked the local carpenters to build a monastery in the style of her former palace. Afterwards, you will drive back to Yangon.
