About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Choona20110 contributionsGreat companyFor those who haven’t been to Vanuatu. Shuttle service section is the first area you will see after you pass security. Staff were very friendly. Was given a cold bottle of water and directed to our shuttle. Driver was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable. Will definitely use again!Written February 11, 2020

- huntermassage10 contributionsEasy TransferSign waiting at airport desk for Adventures in Paradise young lady was easy going and very helpful, arranged our driver in minutes and we were on our way, driver was friendly pointing out couple sites, dropped us at front reception desk, did all the lifting of bags etc and bid us a great holiday, we also used them to get us from resort to airport on return trip and just as easy, would recommend anytime..Written January 19, 2020
- bondbaby0070 contributionsNot reliableHad organised this company for pick us up from airport to transfer to our hotel and they were professional and fine. We were even provided with a bottle of water each. Subsequently booked and paid them again through Trip Advisor couple of days later to move from a remote hotel to another hotel. Despite confirming the booking in email. They did not arrive to pick us up and the scheduled time. After our hotel contacted them, they said they had forgotten. We were picked up an hour after the scheduled time.Written January 2, 2020
- adventurerhobart0 contributionsGreat serviceOnly used the company for an airport transfer. They were ready and waiting with a sign at the airport; always reassuring. The bus was comfortable. The driver was particularly caring and considerate when we arrived at small resort at around 9.30pm and there was no one to greet us. He waited with us until I made a call and eventually the security officer arrived. He looked around the resort in search of someone. There were very few lights and no guests around, quite eerie. He offered to take to an alternative location if no one turned up. Thanks Karu.Written July 10, 2019
- BKPerrett0 contributionsport vila pub crawlMy wife and I booked a shore tour through p&o during a recent visit to port villa a couple days ago. we had the best time the hosts of the tour were amazing highly recomend for a fun afternoonWritten July 7, 2019
- rossa9600 contributionsAIRPORT TRANSFERSOnly booked them for airport transfers. Checked in with them after clearing customs but had to wait quite a while as they were waiting on other passengers. Eventually they decided not to wait and took us to our resort. (note the wait was not the fault of adventures in paradise). They gave us all a bottle of water which was great as we were not used to the heat. Transferring from the resort to the airport on our way home, the bus arrived on time and had a trailer for baggage which was great.Written April 26, 2019
- Graham C0 contributionsEfficient airport transfers.Used this company for transfers to and from the airport and they were efficient and better than many transfer companies we have used in other locations. Don't know anything about their other tours but can recommend them for airport transfers.Written March 14, 2019
- John K0 contributionsPoor pick up service/expensiveWe had pre booked transfers to Iririki Island, which was fine for the arrival, with local information given to us on the drive in about customs, etc. But for our pick up to get back to the airport, they were 30 min late for an original pick up time that was 2hrs10min from our departure time. If on time, we still wouldn't have made it to the airport with reasonable time till our flight time (we still had to check baggage and clear immigration, the airline says you should be checked in no later then 90 minutes prior to departure, very stressed out we were. So the people from Iririki organised a taxi for us that got us there in about 10 min at 1500 Vatu (total) versus the $40 AUD we had already pre paid, ripped off here badly. Island time is a phrase used commonly in Vanuatu, but airlines do not wait for anyone.Written October 9, 2018
- Bronwyn J0 contributionsCan't complainWe (via a travel agent) purchased the following: airport transfers, round island safari tour, glass bottom boat tour. I can't comment on the price of the transfers as these we included in the accommodation costs. So they may have fleeced us on these but I wasn't aware of it. AIRPORT TRANSFERS - after arriving in Vanuatu, was collected from the airport with about half a dozen other travelers. Provided us with a cold bottle of water which was nice. On the short trip back to the accommodation, the guide gave us a quick overview of the city and general information on customs etc.Going back to the airport we were by ourselves. ROUND ISLAND SAFARI - this was $139NZD each. We shared the van with two other travelers. This tour was a whole day, driving around the entire island. Picked up from our accommodation. Stopped at a cultural village (very good), botanical gardens and swimming hole (very good), a beach (not great, was very windy and not that warm, but everyone got out and had a wander around the rock pools), lunch (not great, they were supposed to provide a buffet lunch but instead it was a filled role, an apple and a piece of cake) and then another beach for afternoon tea (very good, nice and sheltered). I think what they charged was fair for what we did and the distance we traveled. GLASS BOTTOM BOAT TOUR - this was very good. We went from Nambawan Cafe, and slowly moved out to the snorkeling spot which was on the far side of Iririki Island. The snorkeling was very good. Lots of fish to see. The glass that you are supposed to view through is a bit murky though. Not much to see. If I didn't get out of the boat (the only female to do so, the other five stayed on board) I would have been very disappointed with the tour. GO SNORKELING. The glass bottom view alone is not worth it. But to be fair, the tour was pretty cheap at $39NZD each.Written October 9, 2018
- vnett00 contributionsAirport transfer with Adventures in ParadisePicked up from airport at midnight which had been organised by hotel. Paid approximately A$40 for 2 people but would not use them again. Suitcases were in put in a trailer behind the bus and came out the worst for wear. Have travelled a lot but this one 20-30 minute trip did more damage to our cases than all the other trips combined. Hotel organised a return with this company but we organised a private taxi and only paid $25! However, staff were extremely friendly.Written October 4, 2018
- Scott W0 contributionsTransfers to/from the airportThis company provided our transfers to and from the airport, their service was efficient but no frills.Written October 2, 2018
- cez19780 contributionsAirport TransferReliable company with friendly staff. Airport transfers were included in holiday package. Wouldn’t book direct as you can get better deals through local buses and tour operators (e.g Yumi Tours & Transfers).Written July 23, 2018
- Anne D0 contributionsAirport Transfer Fee OutrageousWe prepaid $210.00 for airport transfer both to and from the Holiday Inn. We now know this was unreasonably expensive. Try haggling when booking, because having a private transfer is worth paying extra … just not $210.00 The vehicles were in excellent condition and air conditioned, and the drivers ever so friendly. The system worked well for us - apart from the cost!Written July 22, 2018
- Susan T0 contributionsCruise TourWe arrived in Port Villa to be met by a lovely lady who hosted our tour. We had a wonderful few hours being taken around and shown lots of different things. We met a tribal leader and was given a beautiful afternoon tea of local fruits and nuts. We hope to go back one day and stay in one of the resorts that look amazing and explore this place more.Written February 2, 2018
