At the beginning of the tour of the national park, we will exchange the vehicle for the shoes to start the walk and visit the hidden waterfalls among the most beautiful places: Salto Minas, Salto Guaraní and Saltos Bocaruzú (two). The trails are not difficult, but it is recommended a good physical shape and to arm yourself with outdoor shoes, as we will find rocky spots and large tree roots that stick out from the surface. Time for a picnic (food not included!) and to relax after the hike. Return to Asunción in the late afternoon. 7:00 p.m. Arrival in Asunción and your hotel / address

        Very poor customer service
The driver/guide didn’t come to collect me from my hotel as arranged. Even though the tour was paid for prior to the day there was no notice or advice to say the tour was cancelled. I waited in the hotel lobby for an hour and a half, half an hour before the arranged collection time and another hour after, just in case the driver was delayed due to traffic. I have requested a full refund as the tour didn’t go ahead through no fault of my own. I am traveling solo but did pay double as the booking was for a 2 person minimum.

        Charge You and No Show.
Do not hire this company. They will take your money and never show up. This happened to us. Our hotel, the Sheraton, told us that they have had multiple complaints from their guests about this company as well. Charging you and never providing their service. We are now taking this up with Trip Advisor and our credit card.

Clean and nice sign in the place
It was few people visiting the place. It is near the river and behind the Lopez Palace. Evey city now a day has this sign.

Guide was so exceptional hired him for rest of day; took Golden Triangle tour with him the next day
Ask for Jose Acosta, a freelance guide who works for City Tour. Ended up with a private tour since I was the only one who signed up. We saw all the usual sights, monuments, Barro Museum, which is superb. AND, Jose showed me the realities of Asunción, how it developed, why cobblestone streets in the richest neighborhoods (slows down drivers), how riverside is being developed... what is happening with the tent city refugees from the floods earlier in the year. I felt like I understand Asunción. So much so, that when a friend from the same conference contacted me, we hired Jose Acosta for the afternoon and he repeated some of the tour and added other sights. Terrific.

        Not as advertised
To say this tour was disappointing is an understatement It started at hour late We weren’t back in our hotel until 6:30pm (the guide had already left us - with the driver who spoke no English) All day it was obvious neither the guide or driver were confident of the tour not to mention the route! Relying on google maps for majority of the day We saw churches we ‘passed by’ villages rather than visiting them We saw jewellery in a shop window! Not worth the time or the money! Disappointed!

        crowed but nice.
do not try to drive in Asuncion, just hire a tour guide they know the way around. its very hard to keep track of the traffic patterns (if any). get nice pictures of the palace. the local market is huge and busy. the city felt safe asked the tour guide to take you around the town and see the mansions from the early century. amazing...
