We were very happy with YourColombia! It fitted in well with our travel needs. We are fairly well-traveled and independent but YourColombia was able to offer a very interesting and tailor-made schedule within our short time frame, which exactly matched our personal wishes. How does it work: 1. You indicate your wishes in advance and Peter and his team propose a schedule and price. When this is agreed, you will receive a travel schedule and a list of hotel accommodations and the rest follows on site. 2. Upon arrival, YourColombia will give you the name and license plate of the person who will pick you up. This driver (or guide) will also send a message shortly before arrival to let you know where he is. So make sure you have a working eSIM (Holyfly for example) and install Google Translate if you do not speak Spanish well because almost no one speaks English. YourColombia will also provide a local simcard but only at your first hotel. 3. The same works for the tours on site, the evening before a tour the team will send you information about the guide, his telephone number and license plate and the guide will also send you a message to let you know where he is. He also received clear instructions about what he had to show and provided entrance tickets for parks/museums etc. Since we speak moderate Spanish, this worked a lot more effectively and we were also guided past the queues here and there. 4. Peter and his team also send you a daily app with tips for restaurants, for example, to ask how it was. And you also receive your boarding pass via the app for domestic tickets a day in advance In short, you travel independently but without all the hassle around it. No stress about whether you have boarded with reliable drivers and no unnecessary loss of time when visiting highlights. My trip to Colombia was simply amazing. YourColombia organised me a great tour, which contained all essence of this beautiful country what could fit to this short period of time. Clear highlight was the 3 day trip at Amazon river in a small local village - I absolutely reccomend it. But also Medellín and the Caribbean cost with Tayrona National park truly caught my heart. Everything was perfectly organised and went smoothly. My transfers and guides were really great. There was no problem at all, that I'm a solo, female traveler in this country. I wish I could spend more days there, but definitely go back in the future and no question I will choose YourColumbia again.

Having seen the reviews, we got in touch with Peter with a rough outline of what we wanted to do. He helpfully made some suggestions for additions and other changes, and came up with a really exciting and well balanced itinerary, with hikes, city tours, smaller towns and coast. SIM on arrival was a great idea, but what made it really work was how responsive Peter was, with minor changes en route, and day to day reminders about pick-upon times etc. He made us feel like his only clients - it really mattered to him that we enjoyed our trip. I am so happy I chose Peter and YourColombia to plan this trip. It was the first time in Colombia for my Fiancé and he loved it. The staff was always friendly and happy to adapt to our needs. The excursion was very interesting. We learned how coffee producton and nature protection can go hand in hand. We also learned about the different ways to process the coffee beans and how this affects the taste. After the excursion we ate an excellent lunch. If you like coffee and nature we can really recommend this trip.

We had a fantastic trip in Colombia. We reserved two weeks trip that included the Amazon rainforest. I am very thankful to Peter who was on the top of the things and organized our tour perfectly well. Communications through WhatsUp were helpful to finalize all the details. Upon arrival the driver gave us the sim card and we always had internet which I find very useful. All tours were on time, drivers were always on time to pick us up. The day before the relocation to the next place Peter would remind us about things we should not forget for the trip. What we also found very convenient - Peter did all airplane check in and sent us boarding passes. We visited many places within two weeks and a beauty of the country is truly amazing. We loved the tours in Amazon jungles and traveling in Amazonia by boat. We saw unusual plants and animals including capybara, the largest rodent in the world. We interacted with local people in Amazonia and saw their way of living. Cocora valley with the tallest palms in the world was a highlight of the trip. Guatape is very beautiful as well. Stays in the hotels were very comfortable. The views from the hotels in Saliente and near Tayrona National Park were amazing. Tropical food tasting was a very interesting experience and visiting Communa 13 was educational for us. Restaurants are good and not expensive. I am really glad that I was able to convince my husband to go to Colombia who initially had safety concerns. We always felt safe and I should say that Colombia is a great destination country for tourism that currently remains underappreciated. We are very thankful to Peter for organizing the perfect vacation for our family.

We had such a great experience on this tour. The tour company itself is extremely professional and the communication is great; everything ran very smoothly. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, he taught us about the local plants and animals while sharing some laughs. The pace of the hike is well planned out and comfortable. The park itself is absolutely gorgeous, we couldn’t believe that this didn’t appear on any “must see” lists when visiting Bogota. For such a short trip outside the city, the scenery is incredible. It added so much to our experience in Colombia. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a dose of nature on a quick day trip. It won’t disappoint!

We are very thankful to Peter for arranging everything perfect for our fabulous vacation to Colombia. Few highlights: 1) We were given sim cards to use, so that we can be in touch with Peter all the time. He communicated everything very well from getgo - planning, booking to daily communications with tickets/boarding passes/plan for the next day. He was always very patient and courteous. 2) Itinerary perfect for our family of 4 with two kids -12 and 14. 3) All the drivers were on time and pleasant. 4) All the hotels were very good. We had an absolutely fantastic time on our 11 day tour in Colombia. From the minute we booked the trip Peter went above and beyond to make sure every detail was well organised. All the hotels we stayed in were lovely whilst still being affordable. Every single driver and guide was incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable. For a country where often we found English was not widely spoken all the guides who took us on tours spoke perfect English and were incredibly knowledgable and passionate about their country. I could not recommend Your Colombia more and would love to visit again soon !

Well organized tour, we have seen the legendary lake and heard the local story of El Dorado and I could take some pictures from amazing viewpoints. The vehichle was very comfortable, always in time and the driver was very kind and flexible.

Well organized tour in an amazing environtment, with a very kind and fluent english biologist as tourguide. He told a lots of interesting information about the nature and always helped us when we needed help in the road. The traditional food was very delicious, and the vechichle was very comfortable, and arrived always in time. I can highly recommand this tour!
