- Tourist063151889990 contributionsBike Tour through BogotaWe waited outside a french pastery store to start the tour. You can find the sign outside of it. We decided to get some croissaints and then started the tour. Miguel was a really great guide, who explained a lot to us and also had an answer to every question. Going by bike was awesome as we could discover more of the city in short time. Can definitely recommend :)Written August 22, 2024

- laurak280 contributionsGreat way to explore BogotaWe did the bike tour on a Sunday and it was the perfect way to explore the city! On a bike you get to see much more than by walking around in a small radius. On the tour we also visited a market and a coffee factory. Our guide Jan had a very good knowledge of the city and Colombia's history. I can highly recommend Cerros since they had good bikes and we had lots of fun!Written December 4, 2019
- Getaway1811700 contributionsExcellent tourI booked this tour via our hostel. Jan was our guide and it was excellent. He knows a lot about the history of colombia and he also tells some good jokes. He will adapt the tour if necessary to the group. We were two girls. I can definitely recommend booking a bike tour with this companyWritten November 26, 2019

It was supposed to be 4hours tour but the guide made it almost 5hours. He was so nice, and also speaks English quite well. The cafe that we’ve been was great, the things he explained during the tour was good as well. It was not that much tiring like i expected before.Written July 13, 2019
- michellebrown20000 contributionsFantastic Day on WheelsThere's not much to do in Bogota so do this!!! our guide was amazing and there was just the 2 of us so it felt very personal. We saw lots of the city and found out lots of history in a fun way, we would never have covered this much ground ourselves so I think from now on I will do a bike tour in every city it's fun and as Im a bad/lazy tourist a great way for me to find out and see the important stuff that the good tourists do!!!Written July 3, 2019
- carlt8040 contributionsRentals for the CicloviaOn Sundays and Holidays they close some of the main streets in Bogota so people can get out an bike. We can downtown to rent from another spot which was closed, so I called Cerros. I spoke with Jose and came down to his shop in La Candelaria. We rented 2 light mountian bikes, a lock and helmets for 8,000 pesos per hour per bike. He gave us a map and told me wherw to find the best coffee shop in Colombia. Jose didnt ask for cash or a credit card up front, just a handshake and we were off. The ride was unforgetable on a beautiful day.Written March 25, 2019
- JulianHolanda0 contributionsAn amazing bike tour through BogotáIt was a very nice tour. We saw a lot of the city and learned a lot thanks to our guide Nick. We’ve saw a lot of cool places, we wouldn’t have seen without the tour. We have visited a foodmarkt where we got to taste tipical Colombian food, really nice. We would recommend it to everyone.Written January 26, 2019
- PaulR15480 contributionsBest day in BogotaHighly recommend this tour! Nick was our guide and a total champ. Saw places we would not have found on our own, went further than we could on foot, and experienced things we wouldn’t have known to look for. Do yourself a favour and book a trip with these guys.Written December 26, 2018

- Zaira V0 contributionsRide the cityIt was a great tour! Experience the city of Bogotá (highlights of it) while riding through various neighborhoods. Besides riding, 'cause you can do that on any other biking tours, it gives you the opportunity to get to know more than just the touristic areas of the city but also some "real-deal" sides, areas, aspects of it. Nick was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable of the routes, and history of the city.Written October 23, 2018
- callumjperry0 contributionsGreat tourReally enjoyed the tour as we don’t know much about Bogotá. It was especially enjoyable as Nick the guide was very friendly and informative, as well as always being happy to stop and answer questions when necessary!Written September 22, 2018

The tour was entertaining. The tour guide was amiable and accomodating. Sometimes he removed his mask to talk to me and explain facts regarding the places we went. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can just tell him to put his mask back. In the end, I gave him a 20,000 pesos tip and asked him whether it was enough. He implied it was not, and I felt pressured to provide him with more money. After that, a local told me that tips usually are a lot less than that and that my tip was pretty generous. I would not do this tour again, but it wasn't terrible either.

John (Yonder) was awesome, showed me a ton of awesome historical sites and explained the history behind dozens of buildings and squares. The bikes and helmet were in perfect shape. I recommend you take at least a day to acclimatize to the altitude before going on the ride. The route was pretty flat and safe. John was a great guide.

A fantastic, diverse tour, very interesting and we've learnt a lot! Me and my girlfriend took a 10am tour because the city seemed a bit quieter in the mornings.
Our guide Miguel is the best guide in the world!! He was very passionate about sharing the history and culture of Bogotá and Colombia, gave us a lot of useful information about everything we asked about and more. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, he kept us safe in Bogotá's traffic. We really enjoyed learning from him, it was fun to navigate the roads on a bike. The trip to the fruit market was very interesting, we've tasted delicious fruits and asked Miguel a million questions about the food saw there. We enjoyed a little coffee making tour and bought coffee in the cafe - it was delicious! (there are toilets in the cafe).
The whole experience seemed really authentic, 10/10, highly recommend!!

Overall it was a nice day of bike riding, the biggest highlight: the fruit market. However, I wish our guide was more engaging instead of giving us a lecture. It would have been more interactive and fun to learn things with more engagement. I really appreciated his patience and also carrying my backpack for part of the way at the end. He took us to a great fruit market and introduced us to native fruits of Colombia. He was very helpful and gave us his number to contact for recommendations while we are in Colombia.

My friend and I did this tour and we had a fantastic time. We learned some interesting history about the old city of La Candelaria, Bogatá, visited a market and tried many of the local fruits, enjoyed a cup of coffee, and played the game tejo with a cerveza in hand, which is a super fun 'explosive' game! Our guide was awesome - very friendly and fun to hang out with. I highly recommend doing this tour if you have the chance!

This bike tour was our favorite activity while in Bogota. It gives you a broader understanding of Bogota and gets you out of the area you stay in most days. The guide is very informative, speaks very good English and has a laugh with you. It's not over exerting as most streets are flat. We got to go to the biggest fruit market in the city and try unique exotic fruits, went to a coffee house and saw loads of great graffiti work. Took a break in the park and got some complementary juice, too. Highly recommend this tour. :)

Wooooow, it was fate that my friend Brian and I ran into Santi on the street. We were about to rent bikes for Ciclovia from Bogota Bike Tours, but after hearing Jorge (Santi's uncle) describe the tour, we were absolutely sold. It was a great way to get out of La Candelaria (where most backpackers stay and where many of the historic sites are) and get to know parts of Bogota that we would've never seen otherwise. The bikes are in great condition (basically new), which means they shift well and make climbing Bogota's steep hills and navigating the city's narrow streets super easy. Our guide Chris was extremely knowledgable and super friendly. My favorite parts were sampling local fruits at Paloquemao and sipping coffee at Cafe de la Fonda. I will definitely be recommending this company to friends visiting Bogota!
