Amazing Salsa Night Out In Bogota With David & Jen
Fabulous time out in Bogota with salsa dance teachers David & Jennifer ... the evening started over a couple of mojitos as we were told about the history of salsa music & dance. Then we had a private dance lesson followed by trying out our new moves in 3 different Bogota salsa clubs. Very cool. This was the real deal with professional teachers and authentic salsa music - beware of imitators who may simply be amateurs looking to make a quick buck ! David & Jen were friendly, patient and thoroughly professional .... they made the dance moves look so effortless .... Overall we had a fantastic experience and would recommend this company whole heartedly. 5/5 & well deserved !

      Amazing cultural and salsa experience!
A first-time visitor to Bogota, travelling alone, I was looking to experience some salsa and have a fun night out. I choose Bogota Salsa Tours because of the great reviews and what a great choice! David met me at my hotel, took care of everything, from the transfer to the different venues to the drinks to the dancing. His English is phenomenal and he helped me practice my Spanish, too. I had a history lesson in salsa on our way to the first bar, had a great lesson there, too. Then we visited 2 other venues, one with a live band. He also introduced me to Aguardiente - helped to loosen me up for the dancing. It was a delightful night, and I highly recommend this experience. I will be in contact with Bogota Salsa Tours and David when I return to Bogota.

      Andres Carne de Res chia
We had a fabulous night out at Andres Carne de Res. Even though there was an initial mix up .. David sorted it out very efficiently and we had a wonderful night out with fantastic food and dancing. David even gave us a short Salsa 101 lesson which was so fun. He is very passionate about music and dancing and patiently explained the various styles of dancing in Bogota. A very sweet gesture he gifted us with a salsa cd which will always remind us of the wonderful time we had in Bogota and people of Colombia like him who are so passionate about the culture of their country. @bogotasalsatour Must do with David!

      Fun night out in Bogota
Having enjoyed salsa when I was younger I was keen to take the opportunity to experience some Colombian style salsa whilst visiting Bogota. Found these tours listed on TripAdvisor and called David to discuss. He provided a very reasonable offer and was willing to customise it to suit my plans. Had a great night out thanks to David's guidance and met many friendly locals that made me feel very welcome. Although the level of dancing was excellent, the clubs visited were friendly and not intimidating at all. Thanks David for a great night out in Bogota. If you love latin music, dancing, or just want a fun night out trying something new - I'd highly recommend.

      Great nightlife experience.
Interesting tour, I have never done something like it, so the experience was good. I spoke to David few days before and asked to include a mix of bars, not just salsa. So he took us to few different spots. Overall we had lots of fun. Only downside, I wanted to visit club Baum, but when we got there the line was too big so we decided to skip. Great experience visiting night life with a local!

      Best night of Bogotá
I found David's number online while looking for a nice salsa experience. I've only had one day left and David made it possible for me to join a local salsa class on the very same day. It was so much fun dancing with the locals in a very professional class. After I joined David for a salsa party and OMG that was just such an experience. The Latin vibe and the beautiful dancing people...... Don't worry, you'll be comfortable joining the dance with David. I could not stop sharing the story and really recommend everybody interested in dancing to contact David!! Jennifer

      High professional Salsa tour
Very funny night out, on-time, clean, truly polite and honest. We start with the first ballroom and we've been reached by a couple of salsa-dancers, thy teached me how to start with few steps into, it was simply amazing to see my self move in that way! At the end of the night, we've been in 4 different places, we've enjoyed the drink, the food, the company and of course, the music ;) I highly suggest it or whom don't know where to go in such huge metropolitan area. Gracias BST

      THE BEST OF BOGOTA's NIGHTLIFE!!!
If you love to dance (or want to learn how to dance), this is the best way to do so in Bogotá! Bogota Salsa Tour takes you to bars completely "off the beaten track" (I dont think you get there by yourself) and you will be in the middle of locals learning how to dance - for sure you won't meet any tourist and all the locals will want to dance with you - it was such a great experience. the salsa class is taught by a professional dancer and it is just a lot of fun! during the transfers between the different bars our great guide told us about the history of salsa and we tried the typical drink "aguardiente" - this was definitely one of my best experiences and I can just recommend it to everyone who wants to dive into the local life and loves to (learn how to) dance!!! everything is perfectly organized - great guide, driver & just a lot of fun!!

      You will have good time
The tour started with introductory lesson. It was challenging but definitely lot of fun. If you do not the fundamentals then after this lesson you will know. Then we moved to a bigger place where we had good dinner, couple of drinks and enjoyed music and dancing. Finally we end up in place with live band - really top performers. All the time David provided lots of details about salsa and its history. None of my questions remained unanswered. For salsa lovers, who are visiting Bogota, it is a rewording experience worth the price. Even if you do not know much about Colombian salsa this tour will put you on the right track.

      Great salsa tour in Bogota
I decided spontaneously to go on a salsa tour. Since there was no group on this day, David offered me a fair price for a private tour. We visited four different great salsa clubs. In the first one I joined a salsa class Colombian style - quite a bit different from the salsa styles offered in Germany but I had lots of fun - not only in this club but in all four of them where they played good music. David explained to me a lot about the history of salsa, different styles and talked about famous salsa singers and groups.

My husband and two teenaged kids and I took a dance lesson from David in Latin music - we learned the history and how each type of music is different before embarking on a fun and energetic lesson. He is patient and an excellent teacher - we had such a good time, laughing, dancing, and eating (there were snacks and fresh made juice). I can highly recommend this activity without any reservation. In addition, David is a fine person, interesting, open, generous and fun! He picked us up, and then drove us to the airport for much less than a taxi would have cost. Getting to know him and learning Latin dance was a highlight of our time in Bogota.
