Loved our tour with Daniella. Enjoyed a new experience in coffee tasting. I have only enjoyed dark coffee with some cream & sugar. This tour taught me that there is more to coffee than the sweet & creamy.

This tour is so informative, it was such a fun way to spend my last morning in Santa Marta. I love coffee! My friends that did the tour with me aren’t such coffee enthusiasts but also enjoyed the tour. Melissa is very knowledgeable and passionate about coffee culture in Colombia. I look forward to trying her recommendations when I visit Bogotá. Our favorite coffee spot on the tour was Ikaro. There we tried the same type of coffee from the Sierra Nevada, but prepared a different way in a Chemex. Melissa did a great job explaining about the different preparation methods and also about the different coffee regions in the country. Go ahead and slurp, you’ll be glad you did!

I learned so much about coffee and Colombian culture. Indira is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about coffee culture in general, but specifically Colombian coffee culture. She makes it impossible for you to not find appreciation for colombian coffee culture in your heart. I recommend everyone who comes to Santa Marta to take this amazing tour!

We tried different specialty coffees at different cafes and roasters. We got to see how each of the baristas prepared the coffee in different ways, how those preparations affect the coffee flavor and how to rate and grade the coffee. It was an enlightening experience and my friends that aren't as much of coffee devotees as I am enjoyed the experience.

This tour is a must-do in Cartagena! Milena was our guide and she was fun, knowledgeable, and engaging. I learned so much about coffee and can't wait to continue to apply this knowledge back home. This tour is perfect if you love coffee or if you just want to learn more about how it's made, where it's made, and the business of it all. Highly recommend!

What an incredible day spent learning about Colombian coffee while strolling in Santa Marta! Indira is a wonderful tour guide and she is also very knowledgeable and passionate about coffee and she tottaly passes that on to you. I've like the diferent laminated prints and photos that she used as an aid to her explanations. Kudos to Karen (Flavors of Bogota) for coming up with this "workshops" for people who are in Colombia and whant to learn a bit more about coffee in the country. Don't hesitate in doing this if you are a coffee lover! Thank you for the lovely day!

Milena was a wonderful tour guide. She is amazingly knowledgeable about all things coffee. During the tour, we went to three coffee places. At each place, we tasted coffee and Milena explained about the growing of coffee, the making of coffee and the business of coffee. A wonderful way to spend three hours!

I would like to say that I am delighted with the Tour, especially because it was fun thanks to Daniela, I loved how we explain where coffee comes from, how to find the best coffee, an aroma, the aroma of coffee, everything very beautiful. They have the best guide. I learned that you can find the best coffee.

We contacted Karen Attman by email to see if we could arrange a tour in Cartagena for the day our ship would be docked there. Karen not only organised their new tour - Welcome to Cartagena with guide Milena for us, she also sent an email with suggestions of things for us to do before and after our tour. Karen was quick to reply to our emails and we really appreciated her suggestions and assistance. The historic city of Cartagena is beautiful and we had a wonderful tour with Milena, visiting 2 coffee shops where we not only tasted Colombian coffee but were given an in-depth review by Milena. Despite a torrential downpour during the tour we still managed to visit the Gold Museum, tasted various local fruits and sweets, meeting interesting locals along the way. The tour ended in the Getsemani neighbourhood where we stayed to enjoy a drink before we made our way back to the historical city to wander on our own before getting a taxi back to the port. This was our first time in Colombia and we certainly would not seen, experienced or learnt as much as we did without going on this tour and having Karen’s suggestions and assistance. We would definitely recommend this company anyone travelling to Colombia.

Highly recommend this tour if you are in Cartagena. Our tour guide Milena was extremely knowledgeable. She was sweet, spoke perfect English (which is pretty hard to come by in Cartagena) and answered all of our questions. We tried 3 different types of coffee prepared in 3 different ways in 3 different coffee shops while learning about how coffee is made from beginning to end. We also learned how to properly drink coffee and identify its many complex flavor profiles.

I am pretty much a coffee novice/amateur... so to have an in-depth morning with Indira, (who really knows her coffee!) taking us through all of the processes, idiosyncrasies and intricacies of the beans and then the drinking. I very much know I will always drink coffee differently from now on. And the places we visited were great. I know exactly what I’ll be taking home with me! Many thanks Flavors of Bogotá

Today I had a really fantastic exprience on the coffee and culture tour here in santa marta! The tour guide Indira was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the coffee culture and the part Colombia has to play in it. Not to mention tasting the different types of coffee and really learning how to appreciate it. I would heavily recommend this tour for everyone! Whether you're a coffee lover or not you will truly have a great expirience.
