    The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá was named and considered the first wonder of Colombia due to its unique concept in architecture being found inside a salt mine. Every visitor is able to make a spiritual connection 180 meters underground. You'll also have the opportunity to admire the beautiful work which makes this place a very special event underneath the mountain of salt.
    This attraction is found 45 minutes from Bogotá which you can easily get to by taxi.
    With the basic admission ticket you'll be able to visit the Salt Theme Park, enjoy the light show, watch the 3-D movie, Nucuma, and be a part of the guided tour the cathedral offers.

    The Salt Cathedral is a unique palace to visit. The audio guide was extremely helpful in explaining all the carvings and statues. The light show was okay but I found the 3 D movie very entertaining and educational.
