The places and their history, the local people, the amazing views, the guide who was generous and knowledgeable, so I learnt a lot and enjoyed so much! We had two days in Bogota and this tour was the perfect way to see the big sights and get a sense of the city. We ended our Colombian tour in Bogota after visiting Medellin and Cartagena. Tomas did a great job explaining Colombian geography and history to us and helped us consolidate everything we had seen and learned throughout our trip. He is extremely knowledgeable about history and art. We toured a couple of museums as well and without his commentary and explanations it would have been a completely different experiment. We highly recommend this tour!

David was our guide for a 5-hour tour of Monserrate, La Candelaria, and the Botero and Gold museums. He was fantastic! He is so knowledgeable about the history of Bogota and articulated it so well. This was not my first trip to Bogota, but I learned more about the city (and Colombia in general) during a few hours with him than I had combined during multiple tours on my previous visit. He personalized the tour based on my husband’s and my interests, and we also got to enjoy a fascinating coffee experience while we waited out a downpour in La Candelaria. After the tour he sent me recommendations and links for experiences he thought we’d enjoy during the remainder of our trip, which were also greatly appreciated! We felt like we made a new friend. I highly recommend!

My tour guide was a charming young woman who provided a wealth of information on the Columbia and its culture. Unfortunately I did not write her name down. She is a
University graduate and former English HS teacher now studying for an advanced degree in Columbian culture. Her enthusiasm for her culture and her city was clearly evident.
Highlight of the trip was the Modern Artist Museum where I was introduced to the works of Ferdinand Botero. There was no work in this museum that she could not provide amazing commentary on. A must see for any visit to this sprawling Capitol City.
University graduate and former English HS teacher now studying for an advanced degree in Columbian culture. Her enthusiasm for her culture and her city was clearly evident.

I did several tours with Hansa Tours in June with Fernando, who was an amazing tour guide. I was with a 12-year old, so we needed activities that were interesting for pre-teens. Fernando is great with kids and he provided amazing support and a personal connection during the trip. Together, we learned about the "bean to bar" process during the Cholocate Tour, got a historic perspective in Calendria & Simon Bolivar Square, then saw the famed grafitti section of the city on the first day. The next day, we went to Montserrate to ride the funicular train and experience incredible views of the city. Our final day with Fernando and Hansa Tours was at Zipaquirá - the salt cathedral, a natural marvel, outside of Bogota. Each day provided a unique experience of Bogota and provided us with flavor for the Colombian culture. Our tour guide Fernando speaks excellent English, and he provided a wealth of knowledge about all the places we visited. In total, I did 4 tours with Hansa and have another review about the experience at Jaime Duque.

Excellent tour of Monserrat and La Candelaria with our very charming and knowledgeable guide Ramiro. The fast track service through Monserrat saves a lot of time and allows for a stress-free tour. Ramiro customized our itinerary, and we had a lot of fun hearing about his personal take on Colombian culture.

Excellent tour! Esteban Hernandez is a very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly tour guide. He loves talking about his city’s history, architecture and art and is full of interesting anecdotes. The driver, Edwin, was very courteous and had a lot of patience dealing with the Bogota traffic.

Hansa Tours was very responsive and accommodating to my last minute request. They provided excellent client care, respect and professionally executed a tour I will cherish. Local tour guide Tomas was incredible. English speaking and was able to explain very clearly. The driver was always less than two minutes away to take us to the next stop. HT is the tour group for you.

A fantastic guided tour by Linda. Very knowledgeable and passionate pro gave us an outstanding tour of the Monserrate old monastery and breath taking view of the city of Bogota. Linda provided us a holistic view of the history of Colombia and its origins, its ethnical and cultural diversity and perspective of the social context of the Colombian people. Visited the narrow streets of Candelaria full of history, bright colors and contemporary street art while enjoying a perfect coffee. Both Linda and Edwin (our chauffeur) made sure we had a very safe and complete 1 day experience in Bogota. We recommend them and this tour!

My adult daughter and I took this tour with Maria Quintero as our guide. She was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She also spoke better English than I do (I’m British). The tour was very well structured and organized, and well paced, with the right amount of time at each location. And after each stop the driver would magically appear with no wait time.
We would never have been able to see so much had we tried to get around on our own and would not have learned so much, so we were delighted to have done this. Thank you Maria and thank you Hansa Tours for a great tour (and for having such a good guide).

With fast pass and everything that as a tourist you prefer to avoid to optimize time and have a better experience.
Recommended the guide Juan Fernando with excellent English and extensive knowledge in any area, as well as worthwhile stops such as a cafe and chocolate shop.
