          Vibrant Museum
I love the vibrancy of this establishment with it's gardens and creative paintings. A must-visit if you're in town for a few days.

          Private tour guide in bogota
I recently had the pleasure of touring Bogotá with David and Martha, and I can't recommend them highly enough! Their deep knowledge of the city’s history, culture, and hidden gems truly enhanced our experience. They were friendly, engaging, and went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and had fun.

Great Day in Colombias Capital City
We took the City Tour early September and were blessed with a beautiful day. Our Tour guide Gigio picked us up from the hotel on time. Since it was a private tour we were flexible in choosing our schedule and decided to visit Monserrate first to avoid the big crowds which was a good decision. Waiting lines for the Funicolare and Gondola were still quite short. What a beautiful place with phantastic views over most of Bogota. Next we went to the old town (Candelaria) and started our tour at the Mercado Concordia with an exotic fruit and juice tasting before we went through the old cobblestone streets with shops and restaurants and houses with interesting murials to the Plaza Bolivar with the Cathedral, Supreme Court Building, City Hall and Parliament. We decided to skip the Botero Museum but visited Museo de Oro. Gigio was full of information and answered all our questions. His English was perfect and he made the tour very informative and entertaining. After a safe trip back he dropped us off at our hotel. We highly recommend this tour and Gigio for a great and informative day in Bogota.

          Unforgettable experience in Bogotá
Our tour guide Martha and driver Jeider were excellent. Even though we had only 4 hours, we were able to see the popular sights of Bogotá and the art in the city. They also had a deep knowledge of the city. We learned a lot about Bogotá and Colombia.

Raoul was the most knowledgeable guide I have ever had. His English is very good. He was very personable and showed me the most important parts of Bogota in 4 hours before my plane back to the US

          Botero's art is beautiful
Free entry museum. It is the house of one of the most beautiful paintings collection. We have visited with our kid who was amused by the forms and shapes. From the Botero museum you can go to the next museums(free) just walking in.

          Historical gold museum
There are so many museums near by it. When you go to gold museum. You could plan the time for all the museums near by , check the timing for the museums. Some of them are closed for certain days. It is full of historical gold pieces in the museum. You could learn a lot of history from it.

A fascinating tour unlike any other
This tour was unlike any other we had done. The guides are candid about the reality of their neighbourhood, but their optimism and enthusiasm shines through. This made for an extremely interesting and moving visit. It showed us a facet of Bogota that many locals are not comfortable discussing, and left quite an impression on our 13- and 11-year old children who consider this experience one of their highlights of our time in Bogota.

Excellent insight, seeing how people changed their lives for a better future.
Great insight into the life of the people at Egipto. It is such a success story. We learned about the livelihood in this areas in 1990s and how these people leading a better future to their community.

A great place to visit in Colombia full adventure and natural view
It's an amazing experience to visit mesetas, the rafting by the Guejar Canyon took 5 hours of some rapids, incredible views. All was very good organized not only by the Willytour company but also by the whole community all along the travel, but this is not the only experience, for other days you can go to beautiful waterfalls where you can swim and very nice walks to the waterfall at Arenales. You can have an incredible view of the surrounds of Mesetas going up to the Mirador del Indio Acostado, where you can distinguish The andes mountains, eastern planes and the mountains chains that are older than Andes. A great surprise is that these zone was zone of violence and now is place of peace and of really important integration of the community to attend you in a very good way

          The Best of the Best
Excellent and educational, but most importantly YUMMY! fruit market tour. We started with the flower market and then proceeded to local pastries and a beverage to prepare your stomach for all types of fruit. Sara , our guide, enthusiastically walked us through the market with plenty of skill and information. She is a delight to be with ad brimming with knowledge. The fruit tasting part was really fun and entertaining. The market itself is a feast for the eyes. Dont hesitate to do this!

          Just perfect!
Because we were flying to Armenia (Coffee region) in the afternoon, we booked a half-day Bogota tour with Impulse Travel, and were fortunate to be assigned to Gigio as our guide. At 8:30 am, he was waiting for us with a driver in a very comfortable van outside the Marriott. Upon pick up, we hit the ground running and have nothing but great things to say about Gigio and this tour. His English was wonderful and he was so informative! He was strategic about the order of our visits to ensure we got the most out of every minute, especially given the Easter holiday. He introduced us to Bogota and walked us through the Calendaria area. He treated us to different fruits and chocolate at the market. We enjoyed coffee in the middle of the tour while we listened to a street performer. Gigio’s energy and love for his country was contagious, and we wish we could have taken him with us throughout the rest of our trip!! He gets our highest recommendation!

In Villa de Leyva, you can go to Aventura park that is 32 minutes of the principal park, is a good and funny place in where you can do a lot of activities; I advice you that go with extreme people for more enjoy. Also, you can go to different museums for meet the history of the place. Villa de Leyva is a cold place, I recommend go with hoodies, jackets and trousers.

This is a beautiful quaint town that is worth a visit if you are going to Colombia. We were here around Christmas and the town was quite beautifully decorated.

As far as Impulse travel services are concerned I would give them 3.5 stars. They are responsive to your queries but it takes them few hours to respond to your emails. This can be a problem if you are in a time crunch and need some resolution soon. The transportation was good. They provided a comfortable van for our party of nine that showed up on time. We had booked a guided tour and and our guide, Andrea, was very good. We had also booked a tour with them to the Zip salt mine cathedral. I guess they sub-contract the transportation services. The route that the driver was instructed to take to the salt mines was not familiar to the driver himself. We had to turn around a few times to get onto the right road. Moreover, a good part of that route was unpaved. The return trip was much smoother with a known paved road all the way to Bogota.

My main issue with Impulse travel was that they should provide you with a dedicated number to call when needed

I booked my trip in a rush, and booked the wrong day. I emailed Destino and requested a date change and got a very fast response that it was no problem. No change fees or hassle of any kind. Walter was my guide. He picked me up in a very nice car, was candid about the things to do, and the things not to do. He was very knowledgeable about the region and offered suggestions beyond the day that we spent in Villa de Leyva. He got to know me and tailored our agenda. I recommend spending the night in Villa de Leyva if you can. It's just a bit far for a day trip, and there is plenty to see and taste there!
