- aisryan920 contributionsGreat day trip to beautiful mountains outside of La PazWe are so glad we went on this day trip with Feel Bolivia, we really enjoyed the day! Booking in their office was straight forward. Our guide, Patty was very good providing plenty of information in English and Spannish. We made several stops along the way, the scenery was beautiful. We were lucky it had snowed the day before. The emerald lagoon and surrounding mountains were well worth the trip! The hike was ok, not too lengthing or too steep. Patty was a very good guide going up. I would highly recommend this as a day trip from La Paz!Written October 10, 2024
- rkigervaron0 contributionsExceptionalIt wasn't a super easy process reservation wise- but the service during the trip was amazing. Don't miss this exceptional experienceWritten October 9, 2024
- Aquino220 contributionsVery reliable tour agencyWith so many tour agencies in Sagarnaga Street, you need luck to pick the right one. And we think we were that lucky with Feel Bolivia. We did the Palca Canyon and Chacaltaya tours with them and were very pleased with the services provided. Their guides were knowledgeable and professional, and their prices were about right. We recommend them.Written July 28, 2024
- SavannaM2420 contributionsAwesome Hike!We had one last day in the La Paz area and decided that hiking Charquini looked like an amazing opportunity. I reached out to Feel Bolivia to set up a private tour for the 5 of us, ending in airport drop off for our flight back, and was easily able to set up everything with Carmen. Our guide for the day was Juan and he was absolutely amazing. Great at taking pictures and extremely helpful for our group as not everyone was able to hike at the same pace. Feel Bolivia provided us with post hike snacks and drinks and made sure we had a perfect day!Written May 8, 2024

- 917hw0 contributionsEnjoyable tour, but a few problems that tour group needs to pay attention toEnjoyable tour with amazing views. We stopped at some very interesting locations including a grave yard that had an amazing mountain backdrop. However there were some real challenges with the tour that I think could have been handled better: 1) They provided us with some small snacks like bananas, biscuits and some coca tea, but there was no lunch. I wish they had provided empanadas or other more substantial snacks. 2) The vehicle the tour group provided was not up to the task. There has been a lot of rain lately in the mountain so many roads had been washed away. We had to take back roads and at one stage we had to get out and walk so the vehicle could make it up a hill. 3) The hike to the lake was absolutely brutal for me. We climbed from 15,000 feet to 16,500 feet and I found it extremely hard going. I'm very comfortable hiking, but if you're not fully acclimatized it's very difficult. I'm glad we didn't give up, but one of my family had altitude sickness and vomited everywhere when we got home.Written February 12, 2024
- E6434TSsophiam0 contributionsRecommendOur tour guide (Pati) was welcoming, informative, and very kind. She spoke English fluently. Anyone can do this hike--We hiked up the mountain at a snails pace and took lots of breaks. Although the tour does not provide lunch, they provide a LARGE snack (tea, candy, empanada, banana).Written January 16, 2024
- TomAmelia0 contributionsBeautiful lake hike with llamasOur tour guide, Pati, was amazing - very knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. She was a great motivator for getting up to Laguna Esmeralda! The hike was not too challenging (around 3.5km) but I would recommend acclimatising to the altitude for at least 3-4 days before trying this trek. The views at the top were beautiful and we appreciated the snacks our guide provided (cheese empanada, coffee, banana, chocolate). Unfortunately, a lot of the glacier is disappearing due to climate change so definitely go visit whilst you can! We loved seeing all of the llamas tooWritten December 24, 2023
- 203maurok0 contributionsFriendly trek on the mountainAmazing experience on the mountain with lots of insights by Orlando the guide and driver. Nice food for lunch provided by the company and hostel pick up included which we ate on top of the mountain. Awesome! Felt safe the whole time and with a good old friend. Recommended!Written December 9, 2023
- piavanveggel0 contributionsGreat tours, good prices and the best guidesWould really recommend! I did 3 tours with them and all went perfectly. Great tours, good prices and the best guides (ask for Pati). Would especially recommend doing the death road, it was a great experience. However, they offer many nice and different tours.Written November 13, 2023
- christY3858CC0 contributionsGreat intro hikeOur guide (Pati) and the setting were excellent! I appreciated our driver as well. It’s a relatively mild hike—great after a day or two acclimatizing in La Paz. Only detractions we’re that the van had no seatbelts and that you’ve got to be patient with traffic getting in and out of La Paz.Written November 11, 2023
- SwabbaSwabba0 contributionsLaguna Esmeralda and Milluni Lake are Beautiful!Guides were friendly and caring. The views and sites you see on this trip are well worth it-- really fantastic. Milluni lagoon with Huyauna Potosi in background was breathtaking. The Laguna Esmeralda at base of Chaquini Glacier (all should note that you will be at 5024m elevation) was amazing. They provided a banana, chocolate bar, cheese empanada and coco tea for every person. You need to bring your own water and any other snacks (they can stop at a market if you want to buy stuff). We were back in La Paz by 3:30 pm. Highly recommend.Written September 10, 2023

- tattooedtraveller_uk0 contributionsVery good but not a lot of information givenI was extremely impressed with this trip and I feel that the advert undersold it. The tour company phoned my hotel to advise of my pickup time, even though they had already contacted me through the app, so that was a nice attention to detail. It said that lunch was not included and this was confirmed to me the evening before by watsapp, however we stopped off at a little shop to buy snacks, but having bought snacks, we were then presented with a nice picnic lunch bag from the shop. I was the only English person in the group of 11 of us, even thought there was an english speaking guide and a spanish one, I don't feel that we were given much info as the day went on - the lunch and "snack stop" being the first example. We made a couple of stops along the way which weren't really explained, it was a case of opening the door of the van, getting out and then standing and waiting ot be told what was what. We then reached the base of the mountain where we parked and started to hike. There was a guide at the front of the group and one at the back and we were told that we must not rush, due to the altitude and that it would be about an hour and a half hike. I had been in La Paz 6 days by then so had no real issue with the altitude, but one lady was affected badly and had to turn back, with stops it took just over 1 1/2 hours to get to the top. At the lagoon, which is at the top of the mountain path - I had assumed it was another stop on the way back, as it wasn't made clear that we were hiking to the lagoon. This was a nice suprise though. It then took around 40 minutes to get back down, I think maybe we were going fairly quick as there was a storm approaching ! I very much enjoyed the day and it was extremely good value for money, i just feel that communications could have been clearer. Maybe a bit more put in the write up about how hard the hike could be if youre affected by the altitude. All in all, I highly recommend this trip if you like walking and stunning scenery.Written March 13, 2023

Had a great trip with Feel Bolivia. Safety aspects were good and bikes were fine. In particular our guide and driver were excellent - they were very good humoured and when I had to go back to la Paz early to get a vaccine after a dog bite the day before, they facilitated me getting local transport back on a day when there were local protests so it wasn’t easy. I really appreciated this. Thanks guys!

An amazing company with excellent service. Not only were the tours safe, fun and cheap, the agency also helped us buy bustickets to our next destination (it was somewhat tricky because we had to take a bus from a very small sketchy town) When we finally arrived at our next destination, they helped us find a jungle tour in Rurrenabaque

Had a good ride, bikes were ok but abit dated. Guide was very friendly and helpful. gear was adequate. They don’t tell you that the scary part is mostly in the cloud forest so views are obscured so it’s not scary.
My only complaint was the pictures they took were boring. They don’t want you to take your own camera most likely because one would stop too much holding others up but if you can take Picts on the fly then take your own pictures.

Easily the highlight of our trip to Bolivia. The whole team was super professional and made sure that we all completed the tour successfully--which we all did. :) My friends and I are all 60 and we mountain bike a lot. We were very impressed with the equipment and the care that went into providing everything we needed.
