If I could give 10 stars, I would. Liroy (guide) was the best -- and I've done a lot of tours. He took spectacular pics of us. He was entertaining. And he and Christian (driver) made the day/night special beyond my imagination. The Salt Flats are breathtaking. The food they served for lunch and sunset was delicious and plentiful. And we saw it all, including flamingos and hummingbirds. Worth every penny. Thanks to Jose, the owner, for being super responsive to all of our questions.

We were able to set up our tour of the Uyuni Salt Flats, before we even left the U.S using Whatsapp. All of our questions were clearly and quickly answered by the owner. We also used Joker Expedition to pick us up at the La Paz airport, it was very reassuring to see our driver Johnny waiting with our name on a big sign after leaving immigration. Our flights to the Salt Flats were handled expertly, they even had our boarding passes printed out for us making the transit process simpler. We were met in Uyuni by our driver Christen and our tour guide Leroy. Both were wearing Joker expedition clothing making them very easy to identify. The Toyota Land cruiser Christen drove was in excellent condition, providing a smooth ride over the rugged terrain. He was an excellent driver, deftly avoiding all the major potholes throughout the day. Our guide Leroy was a pleasure to be with during the day giving us lots of insightful facts about the Flats and making our trip unforgettable. He made extraordinary efforts to provide us with excellent photos in our cell phones to share with our family. The highlight of the tour was a private sunset dinner with wine and delicious food in the middle of the Salt Flats. Overall, I would rate Joker expedition a top of the line tour company with superb reliability!

We had an absolutely cool trip organized by Joker Expedition to the Salar de Uyuini. Jonny was our driver from La Paz to Uyuni. Alvaro and Coco were our local guides in Uyuni. Jonny picked us up at 4am sharp and drove us from La Paz to Uyuni, he was super well equipped, coca tea, chocolate, blankets, pillows and the car was very comfortable. The trip was approx. 6h, we saw awesome nature and many animals. Jonny could teach us a lot about the area, the locals and animals. Jonny was a very safe driver and always ready for some jokes. At Uyuni we received a delicious breakfast and Alvaro and Coco picked us up. We spend the whole day with them and it was a blast. Super nice local people, very knowledgeable on the area, history, geography and more. We had a super tasty lunch in the middle of the desert and saw many things. They had many interesting stories to tell which was highly appreciated. The hotel Luna Salada was very beautiful and the dinner was also stunning, real local food. The next day, Coco picked us up and brought us to the airport and within a 45min flight we were back in La Paz. After a short ride with Jonny, we were safe back at our hotel in La Paz. Overall, it was a absolutely cool, safe and fun trip. I would definitively recommend this trip to anyone who has only little time. Great tour package for those with limited time in Bolivia that would like to see the salt flats in a more luxurious manner. The tour is perfectly arranged from hotel pickup to dropoff after visiting the flats. If you have more time, i would highly recommend booking a longer tour with Joker expedition as the salt flats have so much to offer. Tourguide Alvaro and driver Constanz really go the extra mile to make your trip as good as possible.

We were offered a tour by Exoticca for £125 per person , on first booking When we got to Uyuni we managed to book this for £40 through a local company, Cordelia excursions The experience itself was poor and the tour guide was not knowledgeable All in all a disappointment

It was amazing! We loved every part of it! Our guide was so nice and knowledgeable and the driver also did a fantastic job. We where super impressed by all the sites and sceneries and also appreciated the food and wine! Can definitely recommend this to other travelers.

We had a great time on our short trip with Joker Expeditions to the salt flats. Liroy, our guide, was absolutely amazing and ensured everything from pick up to drop off was 5 stars including a beautiful stop later in the day to watch the sunset. He was also extremely helpful with photography. The travel company was also flexible with my limited dates and drove me one way to Uyuni from La Paz and we flew back the next morning. Had a great time with Alvaro my guide in Uyuni as well as the drivers Jonny who picked me up in La Paz hotel and Constancio who drive us around the salt flats. They were all personable. The morning rest in Uyuni was very high quality resort type rest room. I had a memorable time with Alvaro who filled me in on the ecological as well as social insights into the Salk flats. Also both of them were great sport when it came to photography. Memorable.

The trip was well organised and customised as per our requirements by Jose. The guides were friendly and professional and the arrangements they made were amazing. This tour exceeded our expectations. Joker Expeditions offered us a very well organized tour. I booked directly with Joker Expeditions (José) and we got a detailed itinerary. They picked us up from the airport at 2am without problem and after that we got 4 days of an amazing experience. Camilo was our tour guide for La Paz, Copacabana, Lake Titicaca and Tiwanacu. Camilo was very knowledgeable and gave us information about Bolivia's history and politics, and it made this trip very educational. Camilo was excellent, very patient and he did everything in his power to make of this trip an unforgettable experience. Johnny was a great driver - and he added anecdotes to the stories. Then, in Uyuni we had Jorge as our guide. He is an excellent photographer and treated us to a nice lunch in the Salar. Jorge was great! Out of all the trips we have taken, this has been the best. Note: Altitude is a serious matter - drink a lot of coca-tea!!

Joker planned all our tours for us while we were in Uyuni. We went on a stargazing and sunrise trip on the salt lake, which was amazing. And the day after a private day trip to Laguna Colorada. The tours were everything we hoped for. Professional guides and excellent service! 👌🏼 An example the the extraordinary service is that the day we can home from the one day trip, we had a gap from 6pm to our bus left from Uyuni at 10pm.
