Great tour to get the know the city from above (in the cable cars). Christian was an amazing guide with lots of positive energy - making for happy memories! The shaman at the witches market had some interesting things to say about our fortune, let’s see if it comes true or not!

Our guide, Daniel, was very informative and fun. We went to very interesting places, including many areas in El Alto that I wouldn't visit myself otherwise. Totally recommend

An excellent insight into the life and landscape of El Alto. We visited different areas and saw a range of amazing Cholets reflecting the lives and businesses of their owners from Chinese style mansions to Transformer palaces. Without our excellent guide we would never have appreciated the richness of life in El Alto.

A lotttttt of good food (mostly meat-based) so come hungry! Great and energetic guide who shared with the group many anecdotes and explanations about the food/drinks we had a chance to try. We recommend!

We did the walking tour with Christiano and he was great! The tour was interesting, and lots of facts and knowledge was shared giving us a better insight into the city. Christiano always encouraged questions and answered them with passion about his country.

Fabulous tour to see some cholets and mansions in the El Alto area. Great to walk and take public transportation through unfamiliar neighborhoods with a knowledgeable local guide. We weren't able to see inside any of the cholets, but managed to include a brief stop at the El Alto Condominio Wiphala, a cluster of several highrises painted by Roberto Mamani Mamani. Spectacular.

very interesting combo of teleferico rides and exploring the EL Alto neighborhoods. The cholets were only on attraction; the markets, the people, the juxtaposition of wealth and poverty being another dimension explored. My only negative is that 4 hours may be too long, 3 hours would be enough, and that I would have liked to know in advance that we would take shared vans/cabs so I can bring and wear a mask. Kudos to guide Cristian very nice and knowledgeable.

Excellent tour with Daniel - would 100% recommend the walking tour. Daniel was very knowledgeable and had the whole group engaged from start to finish. We particularly loved the tours focus on Bolivian culture rather than all history. His english was exceptional too. We’re booked in to do the foodie tour with Red Cap too and have high hopes after our experience with Daniel. This was by far the best walking tour in our 2 months in South America so far!

My guide is Christian who speaks perfect English and have a lot of knowledge concerning La Paz. He would like to share with tourists with his knowledge. Thanks to him!

Our tour guide Max was excellent. He spoke very good English and was very enthusiastic and informative about sharing his home town and their culture with us. We rode in a collectivo to the cemetery and saw beautiful art murals and learned about the local customs, took the cable cars to El Alto where the view of the mountains was fantastic. Seeing the witches market with a local guide to answer our questions made it very special. We had a great afternoon with Max! I highly recommend this tour if you want to get outside of downtown La Paz and see other neighborhoods.

Having first taken a Red Cap walking tour with Denise, my boyfriend and I decided to do the Foodie/Gastronomie tour. Firstly, our guide Remborto was really friendly, chatty and made us feel very comfortable. We could of talked for hours. We talked about all the great food we tasted, how they are prepared, how they fit in Bolivian culture and much more. We got to try lots of different dishes also, street food, market food and some restaurants. Definitely make sure you bring your appetite. I think the tour is really good value and a wonderful way to engage with Bolivian food culture.

We did the food tour with Max, which was an absolute fantastic experience! His passion for Bolivian food and culture was infectious and he was so kind, warm and welcoming, sharing his favourite caseras with us. We loved everything we ate and drank and were transfixed by his stories. We were happy and very full by the end. If you enjoy good food and authentic culture and good storytelling - this is a MUST DO! We were a group of 6 and there was 1 other person on the tour with us, so a perfect number. Overall both tours we did with Red Cap made us fall in love with La Paz and Bolivian culture! Thank you Daniel and Max!

The place where this show takes place is really bad. Drunk people as soon as you get off the bus and extremely dirty. The show is very mediocre. Not a good experience nor a good impression for tourists.

We did the walking tour of La Paz (no cable cars) and it was fantastic. Super story telling by our guide on 13 Oct at 10am. He even took us to a place where we could have lunch/snack with his recommended street food. Great prison , Pachamama offerings and Bolivian political history stories. Really enjoyed it.
