We got the pleasure of both coordinating and having Ryan, the owner, to be our tour guide for this special day trip experience from Punta del Este to Sacromonte vineyard which was hidden away with amazing views, wine and food! We got to meet the owner of the vineyard all while having a very personal experience. Some of the best pictures of our honeymoon are from this trip so it will always be memorable to us! Ryan’s communication was great and he also went out of his way to provide top ideas of things to do in Punta del Este and Montevideo. We went to a lot of the recommendations and never disappointed. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful drive and then amazing location once there. Good wine. Good lunch. And Nicolas added a stop at Casapueblos on the way back. Thank you for a memorable day. Highly recommended.

What an incredible day we had on this tour! We enjoyed a VIP experience with Ryan exploring the grounds of this beautiful vineyard. We tasted many delicious wines with tasty cheese and cold cuts along with beautiful grilled meat for lunch. Ryan is a wonderful host and was so welcoming. He gave us many other recommendations and helped us plan the rest of our vacation. I'm so thankful for him. He really went above and beyond for us.

We visited Sacromonte with Ryan guiding us. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Lunch time was perfect.

We may have gotten the last Wine Experience event for a while. Ryan Hamilton was able to move our event from a dinner to a lunch event as the hotel it was being held at was closing due to COVID-19! We moved our bus departure from Montevideo up by 3 hours to meet Ryan in Punta del Este. It all worked out even better than dinner would have, as there wouldn't have been a sunset because the clouds moved in while we were enjoying great wines, and wonderful foods, and a great conversation with Ryan. He is a consummate host and sommelier, and we benefited from his extensive experience in the hospitality and wine industries. We truly hope that he is able to offer his Experiences when Uruguay and other countries permit international travel again , because a Ryan Hamilton Wine Experience is well worth the money and not to be missed!

This was our second wine tour which we had taken with The Wine Experience. We just returned from taking the Gourmet Wine Experience in Punta del Este. Everything was planned so easily and efficiently with Ryan, after our initial contact through his website. We were actually staying in Montevideo, but Ryan suggested coming to Punta del Este for the day. We took the bus from Montevideo and Ryan met us at the bus station in Punta as planned. The tour began visiting a boutique winery where we literally had the entire winery to ourselves. Ryan had arranged for an incredible wine tasting with meats and cheese to accompany the wines. The winery itself was truly beautiful but in a very rustic way. It almost felt like we were on a movie set. We just enjoyed the wines and the experience itself so very much! It’s very hard to explain what an incredible experience this was, we felt like VIPs. If that part of the tour wasn’t spectacular enough, the best was yet to come. We left the winery and drove to Playa Vik, which is a beautiful resort right along the ocean. We had a gourmet lunch, family style overlooking the infinity pool in the near ground and the ocean just beyond that. Family style dining may not sound gourmet, but believe me, it was a fantastic absolutely gourmet dining experience. We were served a delicious appetizer along with a local white wine and then for our main course, we had platters of beef, fish, shrimp risotto, yams and more along with Vik’s world renowned red wine. Enjoying this meal with the beautiful scenery in front of us and in an exclusive resort, it’s as amazing as it sounds. The day was so much more than we could every have imagined. Thank you Ryan for everything you did to make our day so memorable.

We had a blast! Super friendly guide, good wine knowledge and great wine taste. The winery was incredible, the wine was very good and hotel lunch was amazing. Overall the experience was worth every penny. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to do the Montevideo experience. Best wine tours we've had. Totally recommend it.

Out visit to Narbona winery was the highlight of our time in Punta. Ryan has access to this winery even though it’s closed, so we had a private tour of the beautiful grounds then a wine tasting in the bar. We tried four lovely wines, with exceptionally generous pours, paired with delicious cheeses and meats. Ryan knows his stuff, and is a pleasure to hang out with! Completely recommend this experience if you’re in Punta.

A great many thanks to Ryan Hamilton! He helped facilitate a wonderful wedding proposal to my girlfriend (now fiancé) during the Jose Ignacio private wine tasting. It was the moment of a lifetime and something for which I will always be grateful. The grounds of the resort we went to were beautiful, to say nothing of the scenery. What made the experience even more meaningful was the attentiveness Ryan gave us as he patiently walked us through everything there is to know about wine. At just the right moment, we went outside, and with a backdrop of ocean, beach, and sky I found the perfect moment to get down on one knee. Ryan captured the moment perfectly and my (soon) wife and I could not be happier and more grateful for such a wonderful memory! Cheers!

I booked 2 excursions with Ryan for both Uruguay Port stops during our cruise. Each day was a completely different & wonderful experience. Great wines, personal touches. I wish I could have done more tours with him!

Booking was easy; I just provided a date and group number (4 of us in town for a conference) via e-mail and Ryan responded that day. Ryan quickly switched us to communicating via WhatsApp and suggested/adjusted our Saturday itinerary. Ryan picked us up and kept me updated as to his arrival. We visited Narbona vineyard, where Ryan introduced us to local Uruguay wines: white, rose, and several reds in an extensive tasting accompanied by local cheeses. Ryan explained the wine-making process, how to distinguish various grapes through the leaves, and the history of wine-making in the country. We walked leisurely through the vines and grounds. Totally relaxing. Beautiful venue, personable and knowledgeable host, and comfortable drive. We ended the afternoon on our own at a local restaurant on the beach, Parador La Huella. If I went back, I would definitely book this again. Great value for the experience. Bravo, Ryan!

I've visited vineyards with Ryan Hamilton before and was glad to do this visit - the sunset wine experience - this visit. My wife had not done a tour with Ryan before and she was very happy she did this visit as well. As always Ryan was a great host. He arranged for transportation and a visit to a vineyard on a historic farm. Dinner was surreal at the Hotel Vik with some fantastic food views and wine As I said earlier - I've traveled with Ryan before .and will next time I'm in Uruguay.
