As we had requested and agreed with Liwa Adventures, Salan arranged to drop us off in Dubai instead of Abu Dhabi after the safari. He ensured a safe and comfortable trip, showcasing his care and professionalism throughout the journey from Abu Dhabi to Dubai.

Loved our trip to the Liwa desert with our excellent guide Bassith who drove us around the dunes impressively, prepared a perfect barbecue and could tell is a lot about the surroundings we saw!

This experience is up there as one of the best I've ever done. It was a solo tour, just me and my guide Basith. He was AMAZING - I was so impressed at his skill driving on the dunes, some the height of a 30 story building with an incline that felt almost vertical. We stopped at an oasis and met the man there who offered us sweet tea and dates under the palm trees. From there on to a great spot to watch the sun go down. Then we drove on to a sheltered spot where Basrith set up the camp, set the table and started the BBQ. Dinner was delicious. I lay on the ground until about 2am just watching the stars. No light pollution here! I saw several shooting stars which made it even more special. Next day we stopped at a camel farm on the way back to the city. If you're doing a layover I highly recommend this tour - you'll come away with some very special wonderful memories and amazing photos. I even caught a glimpse of a desert fox, but sadly no photos of it.

We had a wonderful time with Basith, the driver of Liwa Adventure, he is a real pro in terms of driving in the desert, the material for the camping was like new, so clean! The food was more than plenty and delicious. All my requirements were full filled and I will definitely recommend him to all my friends in Dubai. Our guide was very kind and a good driver. We saw a lot of different landscapes (dunes, oasis , gazelles. Camel farm). The camp was five stars ! I recommend!!

An amazing tour experience, Basith showed us a great time with impressive desert driving, and the camp was a perfect cap to the trip. Great food, awesome shows, views and shisha! Couldn’t recommend him and the company enough. If you’re visiting and thinking about something special to do, don’t hesitate, this is worth it!

Overview: BLUF would do again. Me and 4 friends went on the tour around 3pm and had such a great time with our guide Bashith. Once we booked it we coordinated a pick up time from the hotel via WhatsApp. He was actually not just on time but 10 min early. Food: was absolut FIRE! It is buffet style so no worries about portions, I tried a little bit of everything from the salad to the meat (that was seasoned and cooked like a Unc should)10/10. Events: So much fun. Definitely happy I wore breathable athletic wear for the sand boarding portion. The camels were nice and approachable. For sand bashing hands down would do again. Recommend if you have a sensitive stomach to sit in the front or middle because the back feels like a roller coaster. To cap the night off the camp sight was a lot of fun and the 2 dancers were great.

Basith was an incredible tour guide who created a brilliant experience throughout the whole day! We started by getting picked up from Abu Dhabi and making our way to the first part of the Empty Quarter, getting to stop for landmarks and photo opportunities along the way. When we entered the Desert, it was breathtaking from the get go. As the car maneuvered over the Dunes - it was thrilling and, although slightly scary, I felt in such safe hands with Basith as he was so experienced and his driving skills were incredible. We stopped at a beautiful dates farm where they laid out a lovely and fulfilling lunch for us. We were very impressed and grateful for how well they were able to cater to our vegan dietary requirements. When then headed further in the main Empty Quarter where were truly blown away - breath taking doesn't even cover it. The views were like something from a film and we were given many wonderful opportunities along the way to take some fantastic photos. We also saw Camels, Gazelles and even a sand lizard along the journey and finished the day with a real high of getting to watch the sun set! A truly memorable experience and so expertly delivered - I highly recommend!
