The best way to see Doha!

We had an amazing tour of the city during our 8 hour layover in Doha. Bilal picked us up from the airport, dropped us back off there after, and was the best tour guide we could've asked for. He took us in his very comfortable SUV to some of the coolest parts of the city. We particularly enjoyed the Souq Waqif, a very big and busy outdoor market that he accompanied us through. We made an unplanned stop for strong tea afterwards and it was a delicious treat even though we aren't tea drinkers. We also got to see the king's camels and other newer outdoor spots like Pearl Island. After booking the tour, we thought we might be too jetlagged to do it but it was the perfect way to break up our layover. Bilal was an amazing host and made our visit to Doha very memorable. We'd highly recommend this excursion to anyone trying to see this beautiful city during a long layover or in a short amount of time!

A Pleasant Sightseeing Experience Around Doha

We traveled to Doha as a party of two and had an amazing afternoon and early evening with our host and tour guide, Sharif during our "Doha: Private 4 Hours City Tour." With Sharif as our host and guide around Doha, I agree, we saved time and covered the key sights around Doha. Plus, Shariff knew where to take us to find the best deals on souvenirs and gifts when we visited the Souq Waqif. Sharif shared his knowledge of Doha with us in a way that made the tour more meaningful, interesting, and valuable. If you're just arriving in Doha, or planning a trip to Doha, I'd recommend this as one of the first tours you plan, to give you a better idea of where you may want to go and what you may want to see. Thank you Sharif for a fabulous experience and tour around Doha.

Best layover tour

I booked a flight with an 8 hour layover in Doha and wanted to see the city for the first time. Due to Covid, Qatar Airways was no longer offering their tours, so I looked at some other companies. I was a bit hesitant at first because I'm a solo female traveler and wasn't sure how pickup would work since flight times are never accurate. I ending up reserving a spot with Golden Adventures Qatar (and worked it out over What's App so it's pretty quick and convenient) since they did not ask for a deposit.
Although my flight was delayed getting in, this wasn't a problem, and my driver Ali picked me up from the airport with no issues. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed this tour. Although I arrived in the evening and missed the museum opening, I still highly recommend this tour! We were able to hit up all the major spots in Doha in a comfortable air conditioned car, and I even got to try the local tea and shawarma. Ali is a local and spent a lot of time explaining the culture and history of Qatar. Since he knows the city so well, he took me to the areas for the best pictures. Doha is very safe, even late in the evening, and I'm so glad I was able to take this tour and experience the city in a short amount of time.

Terrific tour and so worthwhile
In four hours we covered many highlights of the city and our tour guide, Prakash, tailored the tour to the things that we told him we would like to see. We especially enjoyed seeing the FIFA World Cup stadiums, the national museum, and the section of the Souk Waqif that sells peregrine falcons. We even visited the falcon hospital. Prakash was extremely knowledgeable about everything Qatari and offered fascinating information. We enjoyed the experience so much we are going on a desert tour with the same company tomorrow!

Intensive "Must see" private city tour in Doha

We had an excellent and well organized Doha city tour with private guide Shaji. He was very nice and helpfull, could tell about places we visited, but also sharing interesting information about other things related to Doha and Qatar. We saw most of the "must see" places in Doha. We recommend this around 4 hours tour to get bit more closer overview about Doha's history and latest developement.

Not really a Tour, more of a Taxi Service

This was well worth doing as we had a nine hour layover from JFK on our way to Seychelles and needed to get out of the airport to stretch our legs. It was not ideal in we did it on a night so a little hard to see everything plus it was the first day of Ramadan but still we covered the entire city in under four hours.

I would point out this is not a traditional guide but more of a glorified taxing service. We did get some history but the guide tends to drop you in areas and leave you for long periods of time, so you are a bit on your own.

We did this tour with Muhammad Ibtisam as a tour guide who took us around this beautiful city of Doha and gave us a lot of information of the different sites we visited, he was very professional and took his time. We learned a lot about the Qatari culture and places. He allows us to take our time at the Souk where we did some painting shopping. We enjoyed this day and this tour with Muhammad tremendously, it was a great experience and we will love to do it again on our next visit to Qatar in a very near future. Lovely place to visit and relax

Great tour around the city of Doha

Our guide, Bilal, was very nice and friendly! He showed us around the city and recommend us great restaurants for our meal later that day. He was also very flexible, as we were traveling with an elderly so we need to adjust some of the places we visited. We had great conversation with him. I would recommend this tour to those who don’t have a lot of time in the city.

The great ride with Ali!
Appreciated Ali’s attention to detail with Doha knowledge and culture. He was flexible with the itinerary and was always engaged into getting to know me and showing me his cultural customs which made me feel welcomed to the city. He was very gracious and I thank him for a great tour. A great person to connect with and will plan to reconnect again in the future. Ali, Shukran!

Four-hour City Tour

Given the limited time we have in Doha, the city tour was very informative and our guide Ali was knowledgeable about the places we visited. He also gave us an insight into other areas of life in Qatar. Overall, a very good trip. We recommend this tour.
