- K2613DDjorgef0 contributionsA must do…Waqas (our driver and tour guide) was the best! At the beginning I thought the schedule would be very strict but it was the opposite. Waqas texted us immediately after we booked which helped a lot, picked us up at the hotel on time and dropped us back on time. We didn’t want to do the sand boarding so he just let us decide how we wanted to spend our extra time. Super relaxing, highly recommended.Written February 8, 2025

Dunes as far as you could see - driving the dune buggies ourselves was a highlight and getting to the Sea was really cool too. We came with another couple and had the best time on ATV, camel riding, dune bashing, sand boarding and visiting the sea! He was so kind and took amazing pictures of our excursion. - diversitylady0 contributionsWonderful guide and great tourI did this tour as a solo traveller with an amazing guide Javid. He went out of his way to make the trip special for me. We visited a little play area which hosts a small group of oryx, then passed by the camera race track where camels were being exercised and raced. He bought us chai and a local pastry before we drive onto Zekreet, the Serra sculptures, the mushroom rocks, the ruins at Old Zekreet and the beach to watch the kitesurfers. Javid knows Qatar so well, having been a guide for 7 years and he speaks English very well. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this trip to anyone interested in exploring more of Qatar with an affable and customer-focus see guide.Written February 7, 2025
- GoPlaces514968261470 contributionsAdd to the bucket listThe experience was amazing. I did not want to do the camel riding initially. But the guides were all very supportive and patient. The camel ride was smooth and the views and pictures were amazing. The dune bashing was one of my favourites and highlight. Massive thanks to Hassan for his driving skills, he was very kind and had to endure the screams. But it was an amazing experience. He was very entertaining. The sand boarding was so so much fun and was definitely a crowd favourite. The views from the inland see was amazing. Once again, a massive thanks you to Uncle Hassan for coming to collect us, staying with us and getting us back safely home. If you want to have an amazing experience definitely would recommend this.Written February 7, 2025

Amir was a very knowledgable and relaxed tour guide. I found the tour great for experiencing Qatar outside the main city of Doha. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe, Amir is very respectful and I highly recommend this tour for anyone with the time to leave the city. :)

We recently embarked on a captivating trip to the north of Qatar with our tour guide, Junaid, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Junaid's extensive knowledge of the region and engaging storytelling brought the history and culture of Qatar to life. From exploring the picturesque Al Zubarah Fort to experiencing the serene mangroves at Al Thakira, each stop was a delight. Junaid's attentiveness and enthusiasm made the journey both informative and fun. This tour exceeded our expectations and left us with cherished memories. Highly recommended!

What an amazing morning we spent, with Junaid. A delightful and incredibly knowledgable local guy who couldn’t do enough for us. Understanding the history and culture of Qatar was a highlight to this tour and hearing Junaid explain it to us was so enlightening.
We’d highly recommend this trip to anyone and hope you get to experience it with Junaid, would be a bonus.

Today we explored the gems of the North of Qatar with Amir it was very enjoyable experience where we got to learn so much about the local area. He has also taken the time to careful plan to ensure we arrive at the correct moment for the sunset at the Fort. He given us lots of local recommendations and was very good at explaining local customs, highly recommend.

Amir was great on the tour, he was very communicative prior to advise of pick-up time and confirm location. He had great knowledge of Qatar and told me lovely stories. He was attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout. It was a lovely pace and I didn't feel rushed. I would highly recommend going on this tour with him. Thank you :)

What we anticipated would be a typical group tour of the various sites to the North and West of Doha was actually a private tour with a knowledgeable and personable guide/driver, Emir, in a Toyota Landcruiser. He answered all of our questions, including cultural and social questions about local customs which we had (having never visited Qatar before, we had many). The actual sites were interesting, but the road trip was really the outstanding part, with Emir pointing out the various infrastructure improvements in the past twenty years and the positive effect on Qatar.
Those who only visit Doha on their trip to Qatar are missing much of the story of this country. Was very glad we went, that we booked with this company, and that Emir was assigned.

Mohammad khan made an exceptional effort to make contact with us at our hotel prior to pick it.
He was waiting in the lobby until we came down, he was very well mannered and has been one of the best guides we have had in Qatar.
First off he described what activities we will be doing and where we will be going along with the history of Doha, he is very knowledge and is warming to questions.
Along the way to visit the fishing marke, we stopped for some local coffee which was amazing. We then continued to the fish market where he explained how the local restaurants would collect the daily catch of fish and the history of the market.
We then went to the “purple island” we fed the fish and walked along the board walk bridge with a stunning backdrop of the sunset where we took some photos and talked about the landscape.
After that we then went to the Al Zubara forte where unfortunately we had missed the closing time and could not enter the forte. It was still amazing to walk around it and appreciate the history.
I’d highly recommend booking this tour with Mohammad.

It was nice to get out of Doha and see other parts of the country, and our guide was great and gave us some interesting information about everything going on in the country...but this tour is kind of lame. The fishing village was a 2 minute drive by a dock with a bunch of boats. The Fort is pretty small and the most interesting part would have been the excavation of the city going on next to it, but you can't see that. The Mangrove forest may be cool for those who live in the desert and don't see greenery but for most tourists it's just a boardwalk in some trees.

Hello, I was picked up and then taken to the port of Al Khor. Then the mangrove swamps. Then on to Zubara for a full tour. There’s a museum there too. I was told about the history of Qatar and points of interest on the way. I recommend falcon tours with Samer. Fantastic
