- eliascW3703GQ0 contributionsExcellent tour made even better by guides dedication and professionalismThe experience was enhanced by the driver/guide Ziad whose passion for his job was evident in the historical knowledge he had of the visited sites. There was no language issues Ziad spoke English fluently and he was happy to accommodate our requests to stop for cool refreshments along the way on a hot Lebanon summer day. I have used Zingy services with friends on several occasions during this trip and found their staff professional.Written June 14, 2024

- 963kakik0 contributionsdoesn't get more authentic than thisthis is one of the underrated tours in Beirut, walking tour in the suburbs of Beirut, our guide was very attentive, and made sure we tasted all sorts of delicious Lebanese street foods. the tour lasted for 2 hours, definitely recommend it to anyone visiting lebnanon. we hope we get to visit your beautiful country again.Written May 19, 2024

- Ryx440 contributionsLebanon South at one GlanceMy guide Wissam picked me up on time after some good communication. He briefly explained the day's itinerary to me and also explained some additional options as I was the only traveler. We then drove to Saida and I visited the castle of Saida with the great harbor view (entrance fee about 4500 LL). Afterwards, we had a quick walk around the Saida souk. Next up was the ruins of Tyre (Sour). The entrance fee here was 400,000 LL. You can take a careful look at this landscape, but there are some animals living in the ruins (mainly lizards, but also snakes). The ruins are impressive, especially as they border the Palestinian refugee camp. My last stop was the church in Maghdouche and the beautiful forecourt. Wissam offered me a break several times and was very attentive and friendly the whole time. At no point did I worry about my safety. Sour and Saida in particular are really beautiful places that are well worth a visit.Written May 4, 2024
- shelbyf8030 contributionsExperience touring lebanon caves, castles and souksVery cool. Ali, the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to see the caves, souks and castles and had more than enough time to explore and take photos. We visited lady lebanon and was able to get the cable cars down to harissa where we were collected in perfect time by our guide Thank you Ali. Highly recommendedWritten April 7, 2024

- effirl0 contributionsRoma feels tiny !I'm really happy I got to do this trip ! Both Anjar and Baalbek are wonderful sights. There are quite impressive and so well-preserved. Roma is tiny compare to that ! I got the chance to have a very knowledgeable guide, she explained to me the history of both sites. The road between both places is beautiful as well, between the two mountains chain. Worth the day ! Special thanks to Mahdi, who has been a very kind and fun driver.Written March 25, 2024
- effirl0 contributionsQadisha valley, not to miss in Lebanon !The trip was excellent ! The Qadisha valley is a wonderful place, as are the monasteries there. The Cedar forest was unfortunately closed, due to the snow, so we just had lunch at the restaurant. Owner really nice. Mahdi, my driver, was really kind and helpful. I would recommend without doubts !Written March 25, 2024

We went on the Palace of Dreams - Oyoun El Samak - Zahlan Grotto - Jabal El Arbaaine trip which covers some of the lesser visited areas east of Tripoli. We really enjoyed our day out. Mahdi our guide was a really good driver, spoke good English and was very flexible (we were the only people on the tour). Another plus is that they pick you up and drop you off from your chosen location which makes a big difference.
First stop was Oyoun el Samak (eye of the fish) lake. The road is fairly high above the lake and very narrow so you can’t really stop to take photos at that point (I did take some from the car) but it was very beautiful. We stopped at the waterfall which is the source of the lake. There is a restaurant directly in front, so very easy to access. There is a rope bridge directly in front of the waterfall for close ups (a bit slippery) and it was good to be able to hear the waterfall so close up. There was only one other couple there at the same time which was good (I can imagine it gets very crowded at weekends). After that we went to another part of the lake where we could stop and take photos.
Second stop was Palace of Dreams and we were the only people there. It was interesting to see the garden (the interior isn’t open) but we were done in about 15 minutes.
Third stop Zahlan Grotto, which was formed over a hundred million years ago. Again we were the only people there and the guide had to unlock for us. You walk down quite a few sets of stairs to get to the grotto and there is also a rope bridge you can go on over the valley. It is not on the scale of Jeita Grotto which most people visit but we really enjoyed it as it is so calm and peaceful. The photos do not do justice how beautiful it was. To get back up you climb a couple of flights of steps then there is a small funicular which takes you the rest of the way up.
Lastly Jabal El Arbaaine – a very strange experience but enjoyable. It is a purpose built recreation area built on the top of a mountain. It was very quiet when we were there but I understand that at weekends it is very popular. The views from the area are so beautiful. There is a stripped out aeroplane perched right out over the mountain which you can go inside (I only made it to the top of the steps to peer inside) and a set of giant hands which are built right out over the side of the mountain with a rope bridge between (scary rope bridges were a bit of a theme that day!). Then there is a giant swing which takes you right over the edge. I was very nervous but we asked the guy operating it to do it fairly gently which he did. I was scared for the first couple of swings but then it was an amazing experience swinging out over the view below.
We didn’t stop for lunch anywhere as we had already packed a lot in and were quite tired but instead we asked if we could stop at the Hilmi lemonade van which is on the motorway after Batroun as they have the best lemonade.
We really enjoyed our day out, not just for the places we visited but just to be able to drive through the villages and see the scenery in this part of the country and would book with Zingy Rides again.

We have been to the following:
Zahlan grotto awesome place breathtaking view helpful and friendly staff.
Sfiri Roman temple: what a pleasant surprise to discover, although very sad status due to the absence of the concerned authorities, not a even a sign, houses built within 100-200m next to a historical place!
Jabal al arbaaine, view is breathtaking of course, although security measures need to be taken seriously, the airplane didn’t seem safe and some people were hanging on both wings, the balcony is made of plexiglass, the place needs more staff to ensure the safety of visitors, especially the presence of some irresponsible teens or young adult who might hurt themself.
