My friend and I booked the Jeita Grotto tour with Zingy ride. We initially thought it would be a group tour but to our surprise it was a private tour with just the both of us. Our tour guide Wissam was very patient and thorough. We started around 8:30 from Beirut. On our way to the first attraction which was Jeita Grotto, Wissam pointed out a view point we could stop at to take pictures which we did before heading off to Jeita Grotto. At Jeita Grotto, we walked thorough the upper grotto and took a boat to explore the lower grotto which was beautiful. Afterwards we headed to Harissa, there was a church and beautiful trees and flowers around, then we took the cable car which runs across the city with really good views. Wissam met us at the bottom of the cable car to continue the journey to the final stop which was Byblos. Byblos is a town with so much history, we first walked through the souks before another tour guide arranged by Zingy ride took us round and gave us the history of the Byblos citadel. We had lunch at a Lebanese restaurant in Byblos which we both enjoyed before taking a final walk around the port and city centre. It was quite a full day of activities, which we really enjoyed and learnt so much about Lebanon in the process.

I attended this tour with Ziad as our guide and it was truly a wonderful experience. The communication prior to the tour was very prompt and responsiveness which was great and since the moment the tour began, when I was picked up from my hotel, Ziad was immediately welcoming and made me feel very safe and reassured as a solo traveller. He also gave us a lot of context to the areas we visited and was very accommodating with time and also the many questions we had on the tour.
I absolutely would recommend this tour, it was truly the best introduction to Beirut and Lebanon I could have asked for.

Excellent group tour, I believe the only slightly negative point was that the guide knew little English, but everything was solved with his cell phone! Lunch is very well served and of excellent quality! The visiting places are also very interesting!

Honesty, hard work, professional staff, warmth… Everything you expect on a guided tour.
Either in group or privately, we’ve found Zingyride was the best solution to our one day trips from Beirut. And hopefully to Syria in a very close future.
I strongly recommend it.

A friend and I booked through Viatour. We shared the car with one other couple. The driver was on time and prompt. He didn’t speak much or offer much in the way of local knowledge but he was friendly and helpful. He drove safely! Jeita Grotto was closed so we went to Baataara Gorge instead but when we got there that was also closed due to snow! It was a pleasant drive up there with great scenery. Byblos was worth doing and the castle was interesting. Lunch was in a local restaurant which we paid for ourselves but it was lovely. Cable car and Harissa well worth doing for the views.

It was three great locations i trully enjoy during the whole trip. They are equally amazing for its natural beauties and historical stories, Jieta is must to see if you love nature. Harissa is on the mountain i went by cable car ride. Its full packed scenery along the way. Byblos is great for ancient history. We spent lunch there and enjoy the old souk and short tour to old trading harbor. I was even luckier that i booked with my tour guide Robin of Zingy Ride. He spoke fluent english and explained in detail. Im happy to recommend him.
