Excellent employeesThe tour guide Ravinder explains well about the next stop before reach each activity spot. Good care and love during the trip. Feeling like a family tour. - andrewlB1426UV00Great tour of the city and the outdoors. Informative and fun.I enjoyed this tour very much. Our tour guide Husain Alhabib did a great job. Very friendly, knowledgable (professor at the university), accommodating and funny. The whole experience was very pleasant. Be prepared to have a full day filled with constant information about the stops and the history behind them. You even get to learn the basic phrases in Arabic. One of his students was also on the tour and covered a few stops. She did a great job. Overall I was apprehensive about the price, but I was glad I did it. I have memories and stories to last years. I recommend you bring light colored clothes because some of the sites like the fort are a short walk away. Also good pair of sunglasses would be a great idea. The tour picks you up from the hotel and drops you off, there are refreshments provided. Great experience, thanks Husain.
- keytonc202300Saw various sites in Bahrain including the Al-Fateh Mosque, Bahrain F1 Grand Prix, and the Tree of Life. Our tour guide Husain Alhabib did an amazing job showing us around Bahrain, we did a lot in such a little amount of time, I can’t recommend this tour enough.
- Mr-Cozzi00fun and adventurous trip, all in complete comfort and relaxationwe were able to visit the best places of interest in the country. an opportunity to take beautiful photos accompanied by a guide who is both kind and welcoming. the van was punctual and was air conditioned. a real adventure experience but with five stars. thanks again for the welcome and kindness
- drsafehands00Worth the money !I booked this day tour during my recent visit. Our guide was Mrs. Angela - a portuguese , she is very sweet , young (by heart) , energetic all the day. She clearly explained each and everything during the tour and we really had a good time. She encouraged us to ask questions and clarified our doubts. She gifted a pack of dates ..such a sweet gesture. Disappointmet : The only negative which i felt is we didnt visit the royal camel farm. They showed us another small camel farm which we didnt even enter inside. It had all the sick camels..sort of a quarantine spot.
- Lovesthesun3000Outstanding half day tourMaher was an excellent tour guide. I booked this at the last minute (2 hours before) and was the only person. It was like spending the afternoon with a friend! The sites were great, all the information was excellent, there was ample opportunity to enjoy what I was seeing. I really can recommend this highly enough! the camel farm was a highlight seeing a baby camel only hours old.
- Shayne N00Bahrain in a dayFrom start to finish our tour guide Iyat was awesome! Patient, thorough, and passionate about Bahrain and it’s history. Highly recommended as you will get to see a lot of Bahrain in a day.
- 927tsenat00Super tour guideThe tour guide Angela was perfect—very erudition, and helpful. We learned a lot about Bahrain - the past and the present.
- 278alejandrov00AverageThis tour had the potential to be great but ended up just being average. One of the souks were cut from the itinerary and the tour felt rushed towards the end.
- robertrE604HU00Very interesting and informativeThat was a short but very nice experience which allowed me to know more about Bahrain and its history. I highly recommend it to all tourists visiting this small country. Husain is a very nice guide and you will enjoy his company for sure.
- orazioamanzio00Nice morning horse riding in BahreinDespite some initial problems with my first attempt in booking the ride and then cancel it due to no response from local tour (Visit Bahrain), the day after I was contacted by Kimmy of Visit Bahrain who offered us a free horse ride apologizing for the initial issues. The tour was very nice, good horses and very nice guide. We really enjoyed it. Many thanks to Kimmy and Visit Bahrain for the professional customer service follow up and for being very nice with us. Very much appreciated.
- fromMT00Excellent tour with friendly guides. The tour never got boring, and we kept seeing news things all day. No deep dives into any one aspect of Bahrain, but a fast paced set of experiences.
- sambarr201200Enjoyable few hours off the beaten trackWe were staying in Manama so decided on the desert half-day tour. There were only 8 of us on the tour in total. The tour guide was very friendly and gave a lot of interesting information. The pottery factory was a good stop and we bought some handmade souvenirs. We also stopped at the Bahrain F1 track and first oil well. We really enjoyed the trip
- Curious21725400Trip to Bahrain DesertThe trip was a wonderful introduction to Bahrain. We learned a lot. Our favorite part was petting the camels.
- WellTreadShoes00Well recommended and take the full day option.I was picked up from my centrally located hotel and was tur only participant in the morning segment of the tour. My guide was Bharthi and driver Tauqeer. The agenda was followed but did not include the Muharraq photo stop. The afternoon segment had three additional travellers and was more towards the south of Bahrain. The demarcation between the morning and afternoon segment happens at the souq stop (Bab Al Bahrain). If they had added the Muharraq stop and a drive by of the King Fahad Causeway, this would been the best day tour in Bahrain. Bharthi was very gracious and engaging guide and it was a pleasure to be on the tour with her. The stop at Fatih mosque could go for hours as the local guide there is very passionate about his religion. Overall, it was a good experience and I highly recommend it to anyone in Bahrain for the first time. Thanks a lot, Bharthi for your tips and commentary.

My husband, daughter and I had a fabulous time. I had not ridden since I was a teenager. My husband and daughter had never ridden. It was so much fun and relaxing. We had a great time. We’d scheduled for the 4:30 sunset ride. However, I received an email asking if we were amenable for a 3:00 ride. We didn’t mind and it turned out to be perfect. Our guide and my husband and daughter’s chaperone, Jamanuel, was amazing! He’s a professional...Has a great personality and we felt immediately comfortable with him. He took GREAT photos and made us laugh. Our only regret was not having Arabian tea, which I thought was to be included with the costs. Instead, we had snacks with Pepsi’s and water. Nonetheless, I would recommend this tour for all.

I enjoy horseback riding and since I am here in Bahrain for a while I decided to sign up for this trip. I was picked up at the hotel and driven to the stables where I was able to see the horses and asked if I had any riding experience. Since I do have experience I was then directed to pick out a helmet and they would get me a horse ready. Most of the horses available are the horses used to teach students who are learning to ride meaning they aren't high spirited and were slow and steady. The man then had me walk up the steps to mount the horse and let me in the corral to make a lap or two to get used to the horse and how he responded. While I waited for the rest of the group that showed to saddle up, I was able to look around and see the Bahrain Fort in the distance and notice the green of the crops being grown nearby. Once the other riders were all ready we then proceeded to walk out of the corral and through the neighborhood towards the fort. We walked the horses around the fort and towards the museum (which I had toured a few weeks before) and towards the beach. Our group was rather large and not all riders were experienced which led to two of the young ladies having their horses led throughout the tour. Our group ended up being spread out and we didn't get the full ride on the beach as I would have liked. There were also lots of people on the beach as well which didn't help with getting good photos of us on the horses. We then headed back the way we had come and made it back right before it got really dark. After dismounting I was then shown to the waiting area for snacks and refreshments. I had time to look at the photos and articles on the walls as well as look at the trophies that were on the table. Then I was given a gown to put on so I could take photos with the horse (see attached photo) and then was free to leave once the driver showed back up. I did meet a few nice people who were there riding with me and one of the young ladies even took pictures with me. I am planning to go back again soon as it was relaxing riding the horse and going at a slow pace while enjoying the nice weather this time of year.

The people running the equestrian were very nice. The ride itself by the Bahrain fort and into the beach area at sunset was very nice. After returning to the center after the ride we had chosen the option of Arabic snacks and tea...we were given a Styrofoam container with egg sandwiches and french fries...I just wasn't expecting that. I was thinking more of Arabic treats. That was a disappointment. Then the photo shoot with the decorated Arabian horse...that was interesting..the horse was beautiful, but I was also thinking they would take a nice photo, it turned out we were to just use our phones for the photos.....the pictures were O.K. I think if we went back we would just do the ride. The man running the equestrian center "Alex" was very nice and hospitable. Our driver "Wazeed" from the tour company was very nice and stayed by us the whole time, and a good driver for the company. All in all it was a good time, just the Arabic treats and tea was a let down.

Simply Excellent!
Ali and the team put our safety and enjoyment at the top of their agenda.
I hadn't ridden in years and they coached me back into it quickly.
My horse was a gem.

Sadly the times of our horse ride were moved a few times by the organisers and we were picked up eventually at 1.30pm for a sunset ride (in June!), therefore it was far too hot and early for us in the day (and the horses!) to go out. We are awaiting our return of monies as we didn't get to go out on the horses in the end which was a real shame as we had really looked forward to it.

The Sunset Horse-riding is one of our most favorite and wonderful activity on our list. We are so sorry you didn't get to experience it as it should be due to the heat & timing. Very rarely do we get the logistics wrong and a full refund has been made.
We hope to have the opportunity to give you this breathtaking experience at no cost next time you're on the island. It's a must! Still, thank you for your kind review. Your feedback means the world to us.
