I had a great trip. We were just two guests (which I want to highlight, because many tour operators would cancel the trip with this number of participants).
We drove over in a GMC 4x4 truck and then "hiked" (rather walked) along the edge of the world. The guide was very friendly, able to communicate in English at ease, and really knew the area (pointing out to things visible and explaining what they were). The guide patiently took nice pictures of us and gave us all the time we wanted. We then set up camping chairs at the edge of the edge (haha) and enjoyed some dates, snacks, and really good Saudi tea and coffee (even if you do not drink coffee like me - try this one, it is a completely different and very pleasant taste). We then drove over to a traditional Saudi restaurant where we had dinner, sitting at the carpet floor and (if we wanted) even eating with our hands. The guide then even dropped me off directly at my hotel (the Ritz Carlton), even though this was 20km from the "official" drop-off point. I highly appreciated this.
To make it short: would book again, can fully recommend

We had a very special experience visiting the majestic & spectacular Edge of the World all alone - no other tourists nor locals, just us, 4 ppl in the small group. I do recommend going there in a small company to enjoy and sink into its breathtaking views and meditative ambience. If you go there in winter time, chances are of spotting a snake or a spiny-tailed lizard. After sunset we had a delicious dinner in a traditional setting. Thanks for the unforgettable experience.

I had an amazing tour to the Edge of the World together with my friends. We were a group of 6, Faisal picket us up and took care to reach there safe.
They had a drone and took amazing videos and pictures, showed us the best spots around and after we finished hiking and returned to where the cars were parked we had a surprise: an amazing picnic set up, with all details( music, lights, chairs...)
I recommend Faisal and his team 100%, thanks to his team we had an amazing trip!

Me and a colleague had some time on hand when we stayed in Riyadh for a couple of days. We booked a tour to the Edge of the World with Ghazi Tours over WhatsApp. At first we though about renting a car and going by ourselves but that would have been a disaster as you have to cross extremely rough desert terrain through drained rivers, steep hills, sharp stones everywhere and with paths crossing many times without any signage on which way to go.

So at about 2pm, Omer and AR picked us up with a giant SUV. They both knew a lot about the history of Saudi Arabia and told us everything about it during this 2,5 hours drive. After like 60 minutes we took a sharp right turn leaving the paved road into the desert. It was a hell of a ride the next 1,5 hours including a punctured tire but finally we made it to the Edge right before sunset. I have to say - this was one of the most amazing things I have experienced. We were alone with this breathtaking view standing right at the edge - absolute silence, no trace of humans anywhere near.

When driving back we had to cross the desert during nighttime. Without our tour guides we would have been absolutely lost.

Returning to Riyadh, Omer and AR took the time and invited us for diner at a local fast food restaurant. They were both so kind and super fun to be with. Ask for them when you book your tour with Ghazi Tours!

This tour will never be forgotten! It's a must for everybody going to Riyadh!

Wow! 10 stars. We loved it!! My husband and I did a weekday sunset tour trip with Faisal. Picked up promptly at the meeting point in a 4x4, stopped of at the heritage village which was a nice extra before making our way to the edge. Even the drive there takes in some amazing views. We did the hike, had plenty of time to explore the area, take tons of pictures and collect stones and rocks for my collection. It’s really an incredible site. A photographers dream!! Being a weekday there were only maybe 5 other people there, so we could really enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. After sunset (which was spectacular) we made our way back to the car and headed to the camp. Camp was really clean and set up nicely. We had tea and stargazed laying on the carpets. Such an amazing atmosphere and so so peaceful. After that faisal offered to take us to a cave which we were not expecting to do but I’m so glad we got given the chance. Even though it was pitch black climbing down the ladder and only faisals torch light to guide us, we really wanted to do it. It’s really something to experience. After this we went back to camp and hit the road back to the pick up point. After a this trip we felt like we had been on holiday, the refreshed and motivated feeling. It was a great way to spend my birthday. I think it’s great activity for a couple or a group. I want to repeat the trip in the winter just so I can experience it again all wrapped up in winter clothes and feel cozy at the camp. We definitely recommend and will be booking other activities that Riyadh hiking offer. Thank you Faisal for a great day.

I am waiting to resolve my group's complaints from our trip to The Edge Of The World on 14/05/21.

The location itself was beautiful - which has more to do with mother nature than anything else.

Unfortunately, due to a sandstorm the tour company were not able to deliver on their itinerary (food, bat caves etc) The contingencies in place were not adequate or communicated to us. We were taken to a privately owned campsite where the facilities were disappointing. The toilets were unusable and gender mixed. The food was prepared 2 hours late after being told the food will take only half an hour. With a party of 16 including young children, it was a difficult experience.

I have been contacting you since 9pm today as you requested yesterday. However, you have not been answering my calls.

Please call so we can discuss the refund process.

Whilst the views we

This was an INCREDIBLE tour!!! My husband and I scheduled the tour in the heat of July. We were a little worried because it was well over 100 degrees, even when the sun was going down. Faisal was so personable and made the entire experience something we will remember always about our time in Riyadh. We were picked up at the designated meeting point right on time and driven to the Edge of the World.
We were the only people around for quite a while which made this outing even more special and the views were incredible. It was hot but the constant wind made it comfortable. I did not do much hiking because I was recovering from a broken leg and the rocky terrain made me uneasy about too much walking up and down the steep hills. My husband did set out to one of the peaks and I watched him the entire time. This turned out great because I was able to take his photograph from the other side.
Faisal was at the vehicle preparing a dinner for us and we really had no idea when we booked how nice this was going to be. Let me tell you, it was fantastic!!! Faisal set up a camping couch that we said was something we were definitely going to invest in because it actually made sitting on the ground comfortable. Faisal even sent us the name of the place to purchase one in Riyadh a few days after our trip.
We sat on the outdoor couch watching the sun set sipping Arabic coffee and tea, and chatting with Faisal about Saudi Arabia. After dinner, he cleaned up the site and we began our trek back to Riyadh. We stopped along the way to look inside a Bat Cave which was really neat too.
Thank you Faisal for a wonderful excursion in Saudi Arabia. We still tell friends about the incredible day we had with you on the Edge of the World trip. You really made it special. I am already looking forward to using your services soon when we have our first visitors from the US come in December.
I cannot recommend this tour enough!!!

Faisal is the best tour guide you can imagine! Local yet very internationally shaped. He picked us up with a huge Jeep that was fully equipped for the dessert, played techno on the way to the dessert and was overall great fun! He‘s the right amount fun yet super responsible and caring - we completely trusted him!
The tour led us to date farms, an old settlement, camels, a bat cave and finally the edge of the world with a 2h hike and then a sunset dinner that he cooked freshly on site while we watched the sun set. Most beautiful and fun experience I had in Saudi! Can recommend this wholeheartedly!
Go Faisal! 💪🏼

Alhamdulillah had a wonderful experience on

Well organised complete activity
Right from the start from Dr. Baker Cafe, then Edge of the world followed by Hidden BATS cave.
Nature's beauty, mesmerising wind and sun set. . Wow feeling.
Explored hidden cave of BATS, luckily saw few as well.
Outside extreme cold and inside the cave extreme hot.

Not just mask, but also carry your sweaters or jackets
The more it becomes darker the more cold you will feel.

Well prepared fresh delicious food alongside traditional Arabic Coffee Kava

Wonderful.

Inshallah will plan for Abha next time.

Obaid is an excellent tour guide. He speaks very good English and was very concerned to provide me with background information. The meal with the sun setting on the cliffs was breathtaking. This tour should be on your bucket list when visiting Saudi Arabia.
