The guides with us were very knowledgeable and caring and made everything possible to make our trip enjoyable and comfortable. We made some special requests that were not part of the plan but were also accommodated. I will definitely recommend them and chose them again on my next tripWritten June 24, 2024

- 566kristinee0 contributionsCan't wait for our return trip!John was an amazing guide who took care of our every need! He speaks fluent English which was extremely helpful. He arrived on time and kept a great schedule. At the same time, he didn't rush us if we weren't quite ready to take off. He picked us up from our hotel in Amman and drove us to Petra where we had an amazing experience. After Petra, he took us to a restaurant nearby for lunch. He made us feel comfortable in knowing that every restaurant he was taking us to had good quality and clean food. After Petra, we rode to Wadi Rum where we went on a sunset jeep tour. Then we were taken to our camp where we stayed the night. The next day, John picked us up and took us to have coffee at a beautiful scenic spot where you can also buy souvenirs. Actually he stopped at couple of places like this that had unique items that you don't find in town. From there, we drove to the Baptism Site where we stepped into the Jordan River. Throughout the entire trip, he made sure to help us capture special moments. He would take our camera and pose us in certain ways....like a professional photographer! I had mentioned to John that I was looking to find a restaurant that served good Mansaf (traditional Jordanian dish) and he went out of his way on our return to Amman to take us to a restaurant that served amazing food. There were a couple of other additional things we were looking to do and items we wanted to get and he made sure we either obtained them or knew of where to go. He also was kind enough to let us know that if we have any questions or need any translations during our stay, we should reach out to him. If I could give him 10 stars I would! Highly recommend!Written January 18, 2024
- 707taruna0 contributionsTruly memorable experience- Petra, Wadi Rum, Bedouin tent and Dead SeaThis tour was awesome. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and we did it in style. Visiting Petra, 4x4 drive thru Wadi Rum, staying the night at a Bedouin camp site and the Dead Sea resort was a truly memorable experience. Our driver cum guide on this private trip, Omar Asha, was exceptional and he made the whole trip truly special. I would highly recommend getting Omar for anyone taking this tour👏👏Written January 9, 2024
- Travel6658420 contributionsA Must-Try Jordan Experience (Highly Recommended)It was the BEST Jordan experience one can have! Everything was well organized. Our tour guide, Omar, was very accommodating and was so enthusiastic about showing us the important highlights that we have to know about their beautiful country. He never hesitated to stop by places that we were all curious about or wanted to take pictures with. Along the way, there were also stopovers and he knows all the best places with great views, souvenirs, and refreshments. The Wadi Rum 4x4 ride was also a one-of-a-kind experience. We were joined by Abud who gave us the best Wadi Rum adventure. He even showed us some Bedouin ways of life, such as making a Bedouin soap by grinding a desert-growing plant that when you rubbed it in your hands with water, creates bubbles. It was really interesting to know all these from them. And sleeping overnight in the desert, and waking up with the view of Wadi Rum was so breathtaking. All in all, thanks to them that our trip was awesome.Written July 28, 2023
- judada20170 contributionsMagical PetraOur tour to Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea was incredible. We spent about 5 hours in Petra, making it all the way to the Monastery, and this was enough time as by the time we made it back we were exhausted with the extreme heat. The Wadi Rum off roading experience was certainly entertaining and the sunset was beautiful. The camp at Wadi Rum was comfortable with private restrooms and the food was good. Our guide Omar did a great job keeping us on schedule and showing us as much as possible - he took us to Aqaba as well for a quick detour - this isn’t included in the package. Lastly, the mud and wading excursion in the Dead Sea was a once in a lifetime experience.Written July 12, 2023
- ervaz20170 contributionsFun and fascinating tripIt was a very fun and informative trip. Yahya was a very good guide, driver and friend during our trip, he always managed to raise our mood with his energy and smiling face. The tour was good in terms of content, but the time we spent at Petra was limited for us. We were able to go as far as the amphitheater, we may have lingered a bit because we were 4 girls. After petra we had dinner and went to wadi rum. We would have liked to visit wadi rum in more detail, but it was evening and we couldn't see some beauties in order not to miss the sunset, we just passed some places with our 4x4 jeep (for example, we didn't stop at the mushroom rock). Our camp was very comfortable, the food was delicious. Watching the stars at night was great. Yahya showed all his talents to take our photos with the stars. We thank him once again :) The dead sea was quite hot. We wanted to return to Amman without stopping at the resort. Overall it was a good adventure for us!Written July 6, 2023
- leonarda270 contributionsAmazing experience! My trip to Jordan was a truly enchanting journey! My guide, Yahya (an amazing singer btw), was a wellspring of local knowledge, his storytelling blending history and local folklore flawlessly, breathing life into the ancient city of Petra and the dramatic desert of Wadi Rum. Floating in the Dead Sea was surreal, while savoring traditional Jordanian cuisine was a delight. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a rich cultural experience! Oh and I met some really amazing people!Written July 6, 2023

- shai67670 contributionsYahya is the Best!We didn’t expect much from Jordan so we booked a very short trip, which we regretted as Jordan has actually a lot of beautiful things to offer. Thankfully Yahya made it worth while. He tried his best to squeeze in everything so we could make the most of our time. He made lot of pit stop which are not included on the trip. He did everything beyond. Without him I would honestly been stressed managing every single stops. He also have all the good recommendations, just trust him. He has been very patient and understanding as we where tired and so always late. Again our apologise. He also takes very nice photos by the way. Booking with them is such a breeze. Thank you for looking after us. It was short and sweet but we made a new friend. We will remember Yahya not only in our memories but sincerely in our heart. We are beyond greatful. 🙏🏻Written June 22, 2023

My niece and I had a fabulous time on this tour with our driver Omar. We visited the Ampitheater, the Citadel and a mosque. Omar was very informative, answered our many questions, and made sure that we were comfortable and enjoying our excursion. This was our first full day in Amman and he provided us with lots of information. I recommend taking this tour as early as possible in your itinerary so that you have an overview of Amman. The historical sites are truly amazing. The Citadel and the archeology museum located there are worthy of an entire day's visit. We highly recommend Omar and this tour.

Had a great experience.. private tour meant I had flexibility to pick and choose what I wanted to see.. I was able to add the royal auto museum for a nominal extra fee. So as to set the expectations straight, private tour is nothing more than a car service for the day, with the drivers knowledgeable about the history of the various places to see. I also had some time left, so he took me to a traditional jordanian lunch place and I had to taste most of their dishes in one sitting, which was incredible. Would definitely recommend this agency.

Views of downtown from Citadel was beautiful. Mosques were beautiful. City offers a wgood mix of old and new architecture. Jersah, a near by city offer a beautiful view of Roman architecture. Eventually ended the day with a dip in Dead Sea. The Holiday Inn property by the beach was wonderful. Drive along the highways offer beautiful view of the mountains and water. Most of the people understand and can reasonably communicate in English. Try the dish with lamb chops, rice and yogurt. Shawarma and falafel are very tasty.

We were picked up by Omar on time and he was very nice and spoke good English. He took us to the Citadel and Roman Amphitheatre and gave us good pointers on where to go and what to see. Since we are well-traveled and have seen a lot of Roman ruins, I specifically asked We Guide Travel if we would be seeing the old city and a mosque. They replied, "Yes, the King Abdallah (blue) mosque and the old city." However, instead, Omar took us to a local mosque, which was very basic and not interesting. Then, I believe we were on our way to the old city when it began to rain lightly. As we were stuck in traffic, waiting to turn, I saw my hotel and asked Omar "Is that our hotel?" He immediately changed course and brought us back to our hotel instead of finishing our tour. It was rather disappointing. I think he just wanted to go home and not be in the rain.

Driver/guide was very skilled, competent, helpful and an accommodating photographer. His English skills were “C” at best. He went out of his way to find a men’s shop for me to purchase a tie for my husband who learned he was to attend a reception with Princess Rainia.

My tour guide/driver Omar was very friendly and attentive. He went over and above to make sure I got the most from the tour and places visited. At my request he also included a couple of places of interest that were not on the itinerary. I would recommend this tour

I literally booked the tour the day before for the next day at 11am. That same evening I get contacted by the driver (Omar) through whatsapp to specify pick up location. A tip, be VERY specific because the driver ended up going to the wrong location even though I send him my exact geolocation through whatsapp. Needless to say he was late not only due to the location problem but also due to traffic. Amman traffic is no joke! Nonetheless when Omar arrived he apologized profoundly and we went on with the tour. You’ll be doing quite a lot of walking so wear comfy shoes!
The tour itself does not include entrance fees to any of the places. So keep some cash on you (about 10 JOD is more than enough), because none except credit/debit cards. In my case I had no cash on me, so Omar offered to cover it for me (until we found an atm on route).
The experience itself was AMAZING, you will start with the Roman Theater. Omar is very enthusiastic about taking pictures (which is great when traveling solo). When visiting the Citadel, you go about your own way, meaning Omar won’t be there to take your pictures. There was a photographer on site, who upon request can do the hike with you and take your pictures. It cost about 15 JOD (must be paid in cash). I did not have my pictures taken by him because as mentioned before I did not have cash on me, but he did mention that he either emails or sends the pics through whatsapp. The Citadel hike takes about an hour. There is a little refreshments shop inside the Citadel, they do accept credit cards!
After the Citadel, you head out to the Mosque. If you’re wearing something that shows to much skin, you get to borrow a free cover. (Regardless of gender, so males wearing shorts will also have to wear the cover). When entering the Mosque you must take off your shoes. You are allowed to take pictures in & outside the Mosque, be mindful not to take pictures of praying people. You will tour the Mosque on your own, afterwards the ladies of the bazaar will show you around and tell you something about a few of their pieces, this is also where you can purchase a souvenir. The bazaar part of the Mosque does accept creditcard! Most of the bazaar ladies are fluent in Spanish next to the usual Arabic & English.

We chose the 3-hr Amman city tour, no guide, and it ended up more like 4 hours. Very fair price, at $50 for four people in the car. The pace was great and we did not feel hurried. The amphitheater and Citadel were astonishing. I wish we could have skipped the Blue Mosque (King Abdullah mosque.) The mosque itself was interesting, but do try to get out of the high-pressure gift shop quickly. The “handmade” decorative dish I bought (for way too much money) turns out to have been made in China. That's not the tour's fault, though! We got our money's worth and this tour was an excellent introduction to Amman.

Omar was great and patient tour guide. He didn't rush me at all and let me go at my own pace. I finished all the major sites early and was kind enough to bring me to the Galleria Mall and did some shopping. He was kind of enough to wait as well.
