- kathyad20190 contributions#1 Tour Guide & Driver !!For this trip we were assigned Khallel who was a great tour guide and driver. Khallel made me and my husband feel extremely safe in the city and took us to so many places in our 2 day stay. On first day he took us to Petra and second day he offered to do a personalized tour for us to Dead Sea, Jordan River and Mount Nebo. He let us take our time and even took us swimming suit shopping when we didnt have one! and booked everything for us without us having to stress over finding things on our own. Thanks to Khallel we leave with a beautiful impression of the city and it’s people💖Written February 14, 2025
- CJZogheb0 contributionsAmazing tour of Madaba, Mount Nebo and Baptism SiteWe had an amazing time out for the day. Went to multiple sites in Madaba. Our driver, Anas, guided us through the tunnels of St John the Baptist Church. It was amazing. We also stopped at Mosaic Factory where we watched them produce pieces of art. We purchased one to bring home. We also went to see other Mosaics and the oldest church in Jordan. Mount Nebo was beautiful with views and the Baptismal site was very memorable. I definitely recommend Anas. He was way more than a driver, he was a great tour guide, full of information.Written February 10, 2025
- JohnsJournal0 contributionsAn Unforgettable Visit to Um Qais and the Jesus CaveOur visit to Um Qais (ancient Gadara) was an incredible experience, offering both rich history and stunning landscapes. Unlike many other tourist sites in Jordan, Um Qais was virtually empty, allowing us to explore the ruins without crowds. We hired a local guide who had once lived among the ruins, and his personal connection to the site brought the history to life. The city's unique Cardo, running east to west instead of the typical north-south, was a fascinating architectural feature that set it apart from other Roman cities. Among the highlights were the West Theater, made from striking black basalt stone, as well as the Roman tombs, the ruins of a basilica, and the nymphaeum—a grand public fountain. The combination of well-preserved Roman structures and Ottoman-era homes, built with repurposed Roman stones, gave the site a layered historical feel. Standing atop the ruins, we were rewarded with breathtaking views of the Jordan Valley, the Sea of Galilee, and the Golan Heights, making this visit even more special. Our driver, Mohammad Bardaghawi, next took us to the Jesus Cave near Um Qais. This interesting attraction is a hidden gem worth exploring if you're in northern Jordan. The cave, believed by local tradition to have been a resting place for Jesus during his travels, offers a quiet and reflective atmosphere. While its historical connection is debated, its setting amidst the beautiful hills near Um Qais makes it a fascinating visit. The journey to the cave provides stunning views of the Jordan Valley and the Sea of Galilee, adding to the overall experience. Getting to the cave is straightforward, with signs leading from Um Qais toward Al Adassiyah. A short walk from the parking area brings you to the cave entrance. Inside, the space is simple yet peaceful, making it a great stop for history enthusiasts and spiritual travelers alike. The surrounding landscape adds to the cave's appeal, making it a worthwhile addition to any visit to Um Qais and its Roman ruins. We opted to skip Jerash, as we had plans to visit Jerash as part of an organized tour later in the week. We were also tired from traveling, as this was day one of our time change. Mohammed was excellent, tailoring our visits to our preferences and stopping to treat us to coffee, tea, falafel and fresh fruit. He was more than a driver, serving as both host and ambassador, whose love of Jordan was evident in his passion.Written February 10, 2025
- quocto360 contributionsWonderful experience!I enjoyed this day trip to Petra so much! The Treasury and the Monastery were spectacular, lots of walking but will be well paid off, a must visit at least for once in life. My driver Mr. Bardaghawi was welcoming, knowledgable and very nice; he gave me the flexibility of adjusting the timing to my liking so it was a comfortable and memorable trip. Highly recommend this tour for your next visit to Amman!Written February 9, 2025

- JB L0 contributionsFriendly Guide, Relaxing Day, Memorable DayThe day started with Abu Anas picking my group on time. He contacted me the day before, and it was all very professional. First, we went to Jerash first. On our way to Jerash, he explained the history and interesting facts of the region. He also served us with coffee it was a nice way to wake up. Jerash was very spectacular. Ruins of temples are something you only read about in history books, but seeing them in real life was something else. After Jerash, we went to Ajloun Castle. Once again, Anas was very knowledgeable about the place. Ajloun was up high on top of the hill, and the view from the top was amazing. However, it was a little short. Our last stop was Dead Sea. I requested to visit Dead Sea, and he agreed, which I'm thankful. At Dead Sea, he brought us to public beach where I went for short swimming and skipping stones. The Dead Sea swimming was something you don't get to experience, and I'm really glad I visited the Dead Sea. Anas was very knowledgeable tour guide, and friendly. I'm glad he was our guide as he showed us Jordan that I will not forget. His English is good and he knowledge of the place will make even the car ride something memorable.Written February 8, 2025
- JB L0 contributionsGood service, good tour, must for those with limited time JordanBardaghawi contacted me and confirmed the pickup time and detail. We chose to leave early, so we could spend 4 hours at Petra. From the moment Bardaghawi picked us up, he was nice and offered little tips at each place. We went through Ashobak Mountain on our way to Petra, and the snow was amazing. Also, the view from the mountain looking down was amazing as well. Petra was spectacular. If you go during Feb, make sure to bring a pair of gloves. And be aware of shops in front of the entry. You can get better deal with your souvenir inside Petra. AND don't be afraid to haggle and/or walkaway. In 4 hours, you can see almost everything except Monastery. After Petra, we went to Wadi Rum. 2 hour Jeep ride was once in a life time experience. The stone mountains sand dunes, and the sunset is something you can't find anywhere. I thought about doing Jett bus, but if you have limited time and experience the essence of Jordan, book this tour. Thank you BardaghawiWritten February 7, 2025

His English is so good he had no problem understanding me and me understanding him. He taught me so much about the country the history. I enjoyed his company so much till I hired him to take me to Petra the next day. He drove me the 3 hours south waited the 4 hours for me to visit Petra and picked me at the end and brought me back to the hotel in Amman. If I could give him 10 stars I would.Written February 6, 2025

- nct10 contributionsThe best tour of our life thanks to Mohammed bardaghawiOur last and final day in Jordan . This trip was fabulous. We were lucky to have Mohammed bardaghawi again , our driver and tour guide extraordinaire. Mohammed also took us on our unforgettable trip to Petra. Mohammed hooked us up with the best guides at the sights , arranged an amazing Jordanian lunch for us at a house which once hosted the king of Jordan and always kept us fed and hydrated!!! If you are going to Amman, trust me , ask for Mohammed, he will exceed all expectations. We truly loved jerash, it’s an amazing Roman city , Ajloun, which is saladeen’s castle and umm al Qais where we saw the most amazing sunset with Israel, Syria. And Lebanon all within sight.!! Can’t wait to return!!! Thank you Mohammed!!Written February 2, 2025

I booked two separate tours for consecutive days. The first was to Um Quias, Ajloun, and jaresh. The second was for mataba, mount nebo, and the holy baptism site. Abed was my driver for both tours and was excellent. He was prompt, informative, thoughtful, kept me on schedule, and was a very skilled driver. Both tours exceeded my expectations. Jaresh was amazing, and the Most incredible Roman ruins I have seen outside of Pompeii and Herculaneum. The second day was the highlight of my trip and a bit unplanned. I was originally scheduled to visit the Dead Sea but decided to change plans in route to go to the baptism site. It was way more spiritually and emotionally rewarding then I ever imagined it would be. After the baptism site Abed was able to get me to the Dead Sea as a bonus before I had to get to the airport. I was a solo traveler so it was a bit more expensive then I would have preferred, so I recommend going as a group to help off set the cost. It would probably be cheaper to rent a car for your stay, but having a knowledgeable driver significantly reduces the stress of driving around by yourself in a foreign country. I would 100% do it again. Both tours are full day experiences and I recommend wearing comfortable shoes as you will do a lot of walking. Also recommend hiring guides at um quias and jaresh as they will help you navigate and understand the significance of the sites. That comes with extra fees, but worth it.

Our day started at 9 am with Mohammad Bardaghawi, where we were picked up from the hotel on time and started first to Umm Quais. There you have the opportunity to use an (unofficial) guide, but you can also explore the area yourself. We stayed there about 1h. The view was really wonderful and what we didn't expect was a great cafe in the middle of the area. Then we drove to the castle where we spent about 45 minutes. In the end came Jerash, where we spent 2.5h and they can also take a guide, but we did it without. However, we had the opportunity to decide for ourselves whether to stay longer or shorter. All the sights were fascinating and we felt safe at all times and can only recommend the day trip! Also Mohammad Bardaghawi was insanely hospitable and only told us a lot about Jordan and the cities along the way. A successful day!

Our best day in Jordan. Bardaghawi our driver was by far the best tour guide I have had. He immediately made us feel comfortable, explained the tour and asked if we had any special requests
We both came away with a much better appreciation of Jordan, its cuisine and people thanks to Bardaghawi
As we headed out of town he bought fruit, fresh and stopped at a typical local falafel shop where he bought their specialty for us. Later we had freshly squeezed pomegranate juice which I totally recommend
Along the way Bardaghawi pointed out interesting local sights and never failed to answer our questions
Should I come back again to Jordan I would seek Bardaghawi out again. If you go south to Petra or do this North trip I would recommend this company and driver

Best service we’ve had so far in Jordan and Yaser was absolutely amazing. from the moment our booking was confirmed, he was in contact to confirm the time of pick and on the day was very punctual. The service he provided was really amazing and also gave useful tips on things to do in Amman, when visiting the sites he was very knowledgeable on the history and provided really great information, if you are booking a tour make sure to book it with R&H and request for Yaser if that’s an option.

We had a great day with Bardaghawi as he drove us around key sites in Jordan. He was very friendly, helpful and trustworthy. He arrived early for our trip and was very accomodating to ensure we had the best experience, even taking a detour to help us buy some shoes. Bardaghawi has good knowledge of Jordan and shared lots of local insights, including an excellent restaurant recommendation. We would highly recommend for future trips and travel around Jordan. Thank you!

It was a wonderful day trip to Jerash, Ajloun and Umm Qais with Hassan Al Khateb. Hassan got in touch with us one day in advance and arrived before time on the day of the trip. The car was maintained neat and clean. He gave us complimentary water and also added tea and chocolates to it. He also took us to a wonderful Jordanian restaurant. He was very patient and was never in a hurry. He gave us a lot of time at all the sites we visited and gave us a clear perspective of what the trip is going to be beforehand. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Loved it!

It is the second trip we took with this company and I can say that Yousef is the best. He was very kind, respectful and professional. He made us feel very comfortable and let us decide at every moment. At no time did he take advantage of us as tourists. Without a doubt other drivers should be like him. Additionally, he provided us with important information about the places we visited and explained to us about Islam and life in Jordan. The places we visited were very interesting but our favorite was Gerash, it is beautiful and very well preserved.
