About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Runmin S0 contributionsGood tourWe had very good experience with the tour and also wanted to say Jordan still is a safe place to visit. Thanks to our guide and driver Odai, we learned a lot of historical knowledge and also local people lifestyle.Written September 16, 2024
- Venture548638413690 contributionsJordan AdventureOur driver Muhammad was fantastic, he made our three day tour a lot of fun. It was a great way to see Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea and the Red Sea. Muhammad also took us to many other interesting places along the way, including ones not mentioned in the tour itinerary. The accommodation in Petra was good and the Wadi Rum camp exceeded our expectations. We paid for the Deluxe Tent and l would recommend booking these, as they were roomy and comfortable. The food at Wadi Rum was great and there were plenty of choices. I recommended this tour as a great way to see Jordan. I would also highly recommend asking for Muhammad as your driver.Written September 16, 2024
- chris35690 contributionsOutstanding 2 day small group tour of Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba and the Dead SeaI booked a 2 day Petra/Wadi Rum/Dead Sea tour with Jordan Private Tours and Travel via another agency. Last minute, a friend decided to join me and the company were very flexible and accommodating in making this late change. Our tour was a group tour consisting of 4 of us (including me and my friend) with Qutaibah Akaylah as our driver and guide. The vehicle we were transported in was spacious, comfortable and had good air conditioning. Qutaibah was friendly, accomodating and very knowledgable. We were all impressed with how he would take us to places and rather than drop us off at an entrance and give us a time to come back to the car he would often accompany us and assist us with local knowledge. The tour comprised of an early morning pickup from Amman with travel to Petra (the option to be transported to somewhere to have lunch or for Qutaibah to source a sharwarma box for lunch meaning we could spend longer in Petra), Wadi Rum, jeep tour in Wadi Rum (with multiple stops and photo opportuinities) followed by a night in a bedouin camp, dinner, breakfast and then back to Amman via Aqaba and the Dead Sea. I thorough enjoyed the tour and would not hesitate to recommend this company - especially Qutaibah who was a great all round guy and an excellent driver and guide. Thank you for helping me to make memories which will last a lifetime.Written September 16, 2024
- JoziTMan0 contributionsExceptional Jordan Holiday!!We travelled to Madaba, then Nebo. This was an exceptional experience as we got to see historical places from Biblical times eg Jericho, Dead Seea, Jordan river. We even got to see where Jesus was baptised in the Jordan river. It was surreal! Petra far exceeded my expectations, and has far more historical depth than is usually portrayed. Our Guide Zeyad Elqunj was truly exceptional. He took us to all the right places and was extremely patient with us. Jordan is extremely hot and he made sure the A/C was on at all times. We also included a Desert overnight stay , which included a 4x4 drive and a night in a Desert camp! Absolutely fascinating! The final visit to the Dead Sea was just plain amazing. I never dreamed I would float on water! My dream came true! The staff at the Intercontinental resort were exceptional! They helped us with the Dead Sea mud experience and taking stunning Instagram pictures!! I am definitely coming back to Jordan!!!Written September 13, 2024

- b_rak5470 contributionsMust do in JordanIt was an unforgettable trip for me. Especially the Wadi Rum part. The Petra part is also great if you like walking. I traveled with a group of 6 people and it was great. Our driver Jafar was well experienced and gave good informations about region and he was also a good driver. Journey was supersafe. If you are coming to Jordan, you should take this tour.Written September 5, 2024

- newhampshire6800 contributionsAmazing experienceAbsolutely amazing experience! This is the best trip we have been on! We did the 2 day Jordan trip last week with Jafar. Jafar was an exceptional tour guide! He was kind, funny, informative, and so fun to be around! We loved every second of our tour and lucked out with a wonderful small group of people to enjoy the 2 days with! Our tour started in Petra! It was a bucket list destination and it was just amazing! We walked around for several hours and then headed an hour away to Wadi Rum. We started with a camel ride and a jeep tour through the desert. It was magical! Words cannot even describe how mesmerizing the desert is there! We stayed the night at Wadi Rum Magic Nights. It was wonderful! We booked a tent with AC and private bathroom. The tent was so cozy and the AC kept it cool and comfortable! The buffet dinner and breakfast is included and it was delicious! Lots of great options and the people who work there are so kind and friendly! I highly recommend staying there! The second day we drove to the Red Sea and did a glass bottom boat tour. It was so neat! We then drove to the Dead Sea and floated in the Dead Sea! It was super hot the day we were there, so we enjoyed swimming in the pool at the Grand East Hotel, where we stayed for the afternoon. Our time there included a nice lunch buffet, golf cart to the Dead Sea, changing rooms, and the pool. It was a nice relaxing afternoon! Jafar then drove us the 1 hour back to Amman. I cannot recommend this tour more! I would give it a million stars if I could! Jafar was phenomenal and kept us entertained with his jokes and riddles the whole car ride! I was hesitant to book this trip to Jordan because of what is happening in Israel, but Jordan is very safe and removed from everything happening in Israel. Jordan has a stable government and lots of security. We felt safe every second of our time in Jordan! The people were so kind and friendly everywhere we went. Please do yourself a favor and book this trip!Written August 16, 2024
- ThatGirl2150 contributionsTruly a trip and experience of a lifetime - Jordan will forever have my heart!I decided to fulfill my bucket list wish to see Petra. It was a stunningly beautiful experience and far exceeded my expectations! Little did I know how special the entire country of Jordan is. As a solo female traveler, I felt so incredibly safe and looked after by my driver Murad Dasani. He treated me like a friend and a daughter, making sure I arrived safely and enjoyed each destination-and even took pics for me as a solo traveler. It was also so beneficial to travel with a local as he had contacts in every location and made the entire trip seamless as we traversed Mt Nebo, Petra, Little Petra, Wadi Rum, and Aqaba. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and very accommodating making sure I had enough time at every location and never made me feel bad about wanting to stop somewhere. I can’t say enough good things about my trip. I am so grateful to Murad for his outstanding hospitality- anyone thinking about going to Jordan MUST book with this company. Thank you Murad! 5 stars!Written August 16, 2024

Our driver, Zaccariah, was wonderful! He arrived in a beautiful car and drove us with great care to Jerash and then took us around Amman. Along the way, he stopped and bought us fresh pomegranates and even treated us to the BEST kunafa in Amman--and I mean the best. He also kindly arranged for his brother to take us back to the airport that evening. He was gracious and welcoming. Thank you, Zaccariach!!!

We had a wonderful trip today with Hani to Umm Qais, Ajloun Castle, and Jerash, which were absolutely stunning. Hani was well organised, helpful, and generous, with lots of extra information on the sites we visited, and as we drove through the astonishing views. He also managed to bring us to Pella en route, and used his experience to arrange for us to be able to go inside to take in the view - all at no extra cost to time nor money. Hani let us take our time in each site, but was delightful to be back in the car with afterwards. An excellent trip - thoroughly recommended.

We had a wonderful and full day tour with Mohammed O. Mohammed was very accommodating and professional. Mohammed O. gave us good pointers throughout our day of touring. All the stops were well worth it and amazing.
This will be a long day of routing for anyone. Make sure you bring plenty of treats and drinks. There aren’t stops to have lunch. Create your own opportunities to eat. If all else fails, Jerash has plenty of eateries.

Very fun day trip with some nice views in Ajloun and Umm Qais. The Jerash ruins are also very impressive and well preserved. I'd still recommend you start with the Petra/Wadi Rum/Dead Sea trip but this is definitely a fine second choice. The driver Mohammad was very friendly and entertaining, and we got a chance to try the famous Jordanian Mansef for lunch. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience with our guide and driver, Hasan. We decided to do this tour on our second day of being in Jordan. We visited Umm Qais/Gadara, Aljoun Castle and Jerash. The whole tour was very well planned. We chose to get some local guides at 2 of these locations so we could learn more about the history.
Hasan drove us to all these locations and patiently waited for us at local restaurants until we were done with visiting the historical spots. He never rushed us. He was very kind and respectful. He talked about life in Jordan, discussed mutual interests and hobbies, and he even gave us some tips on how to best visit his wonderful country since it was the beginning of our trip. He gave us several surprises and treats throughout the trip. He bought us some welcome drinks, took us to a beautiful secret viewpoint and took pictures for us. The most thoughtful gift of this tour was that he surprised us with some personalized souvenirs that he bought for us while we were out exploring Jerash. We had the best experience on this tour because of Hasan! We will be recommending him to all our friends and family who are thinking of visiting Jordan!

My daughter and I took this trip in October 2022. There were just 2 of us plus the driver. Our trip started out well. Our driver provided us with water bottles when we entered the car and made a quick stop for coffee and offered us coffee or tea. He was a good driver...So why the one star review? We went to Umm Quais first. It's a location with great views situated on a hill. I had read some reviews of restaurants here. When we finished our visit it was about 11:30. We suggested we eat here...Our driver insisted - No...you will eat in Jerash. By the time we go to our second stop at Ajloun Castle, it was 1PM and we were starved. This time we told the driver WE WOULD LIKE TO EAT in the area. We were flying home that evening and wanted to have a final dinner in Amman before headed to the airport and just wanted a light. early (already too late for that) lunch. Our driver was insistant - No, you will eat in Jerash....So finally, as we arrived near Jerash - well past 2PM at this point, our driver pulls into the Green Valley Restaurant and tells us we are eating here. He takes us in - it's a bus restaurant designed for large crowds. Given there were only 2 of us, we could have eaten anywhere and at any time, but my guess is he or his company didn't get kickbacks from restaurants other than this one. They sit us at a table for 12 - like I said, it's a bus restaurant filled with tables for bus sized groups. There's no menu - the waiter basically tells us "we have mixed grill"...so we get the mixed grill which comes with massive portions of sides (although not really a lot of meat) and bread that I will say was delicious....but now we're getting a meal hours after we wanted to eat and instead of the light lunch we wanted, we're getting dinner size portions and we are super angry at the tour company. It was also the most expensive meal we had during our entire stay in Jordan, so yeah - I feel as if we were completely ripped off by the tour company, hence the 1 star review.
Obviously, somebody on the tour was getting a kick back from the restaurant. Whether it was the driver or the tour operator, we don't know. We tipped the driver well because other than his insistence on delaying our lunch 2 hours and forcing us to a place we never would have chosen, he did a great job of transporting us / providing us with water / coffee and even stopping for photos at a few good points and our assumption was he's told to force us to the bus restaurant rather than allowing us to choose our own dining.
In hindsight, we should have insisted our driver take us to a restaurant at Umm Quais, but hindsight is 20-20 and the review stands at one star because of the overpriced bus restaurant that was forced on us hours after we would have liked to eat.

My partner and I had a quick visit to Jordan and I chose this company for all three tours we did. I hired a driver from the company who drove us to specific sites in Northern Jordan. Umm Quais was amazing in terms of Roman antiquities and buildings. My partner and I thought the preservation of the town was amazing, however, our socks were knocked off by Jerash. We both felt that by visiting Umm Quais first and Jerash second, we were able to really absorb the wonderful ruins of 2 Roman settlements. Zakeria took us for lunch at a local restaurant in Jerash - the food was really good and good value. Because my partner and I took so long at Umm Quais we didn't make it to Ajloun Castle. However, really enjoyed our day. Zakeria drove us competently throughout. He is friendly, companionable and not a gabbler. He shares history and knowledge without prompting and will answer questions where he can. Otherwise he is happy to drive in companionable silence whilst my partner and I absorbed the scenery whilst driving.

Is the driver guiding us into Jerash and Um quais or we have to hire guides separately at each spot. Tranks
