- ashirao0 contributionsExcellent meaningful tour!! Oded is engaging, knowledgeable and kind. Balanced sorrow with hope. Highly recommend!!!!Oded was an engaging and knowledgeable guide. This is a difficult and important tour and Oded handled it with sensitivity. He also brought us water and snacks and took us to a delicious bakery in Sderot for mid-morning coffee break. We were a family of 6, with kids ranging from 16-22 years old. I highly recommend this tour, and I would love to take another tour with Oded on our next trip.Written December 27, 2024
- arim20190 contributionsA Meaningful Memorable ExperienceThe trip was fantastic. Oded is knowledgeable and a great guide. We plan on booking him again in the future, and I would highly recommended him.Written December 25, 2024
- ripka20180 contributionsOctober 7 -- Horrors and Heroism Tour of IsraelThe Heritage and Heroism Tour was the highlight of 10 days in Israel. Our tour guide, Oded was more like a family member than a one day guide. He brought us safely to the Gaza Envelope and shared with us the horrors and heroism of Oct. 7. He gave us a historical perspective and related first hand accounts of that terrible day. We saw sites under construction as memorials, that others probably wouldn't. We saw Gaza from overlooks and he introduced us to soldiers at a hot food refreshment station only a few minutes ride from Gaza City. Interacting with these active soldiers was heartwarming to see their resolve. We were never rushed, but rather he went with our flow to experience the many sites, mourn the dead, cry and reflect on what transpired. We went from the north of the Gaza Envelope at Sderot, to Tkuma, the Nova Festival Site, Moshav Tshuma and so much more. The trip with Oded was worth twice the price. This is an emotional and must tour for your trip to Israel.Written December 16, 2024
- Maps5394700 contributionsA Jerusalem Gem!My husband and I recently returned from a trip to Israel, and a highlight, without a doubt, was our private tour of Jerusalem with Oded. From the very start, Oded made the experience incredibly personal. We had mentioned a particular interest in visiting the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim quarters, and he crafted the itinerary to include hidden gems and historical details we wouldn't have found on our own. His knowledge of Jerusalem was astounding. He wasn't just reciting dates and facts; he brought the city's rich history to life with captivating stories and anecdotes. We learned about everything from the architectural styles of different eras to the fascinating daily routines observed in the various religious quarters. Oded even pointed out lesser-known archaeological digs tucked away in unexpected corners. By the end of the day, we felt like we had not only seen Jerusalem's iconic landmarks but also glimpsed the soul of the city. Oded's personalized approach, in-depth knowledge, and genuine hospitality made our tour an unforgettable experience. If you're looking to explore Jerusalem beyond the typical tourist path, we highly recommend booking a tour with Oded!Written July 15, 2024
- sarahdS8935DS0 contributionsIncredible day exploring Nazareth and the Sea of GalileeOded was an incredible guide! He allowed myself and my parents to enjoy a wonderful day exploring Nazareth and Sea of Galilee from Tel Aviv. He even set up a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee for us to enjoy. He is a kind, warm person and a wealth of knowledge. He did a wonderful job explaining the history of the area and gave a Christian/biblical focus for my parents. He allowed us to tailor the day to our interests and ability levels. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Oded!Written September 27, 2023

- jessicah3340 contributionsA brilliant tour of JerusalemThis was a fabulous day !! Oded truly has scholarly knowledge on the history of Jerusalem and world religion but also the kindest , intuitive manner as a guide . Once he was with us for thirty minutes he added new sights and took us to unexpected gems all while hitting the major points of interest and detailing the cultural and spiritual past of Israel and the world at large . It was an incredible tour and I cannot imagine a lovelier guideWritten August 8, 2023
- 374gwendolynh0 contributionsExcellent guide- reliable, food company and flexibleOded was everything you want in a guide! Informative, personable, punctual, flexible! An excellent driver, insightful historian and just plain good company! Oded took us all around Haifa including selected fabulous stops in a food market. Oded was our driver one day in Jerusalem when a bicycle race prevented him from getting back to our pickup location. He kept us calm and we felt confident in his workaround strategy. Excellent English skills made communication effortless. A gem of a guide and genuine nice person. Heartily recommend.Written July 25, 2023
- jamestd20160 contributionsTour of Old JerusalemOded was an excellent tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable, smart, and insightful. Since this was a private tour, he took me to places in old Jerusalem, where large tour groups are barred. I got to see a 4th century cistern, buried under a chapel; I got to see a hidden village built on a roof of a church, I got to see the city streets from the vantage point of a private rooftop. I had never been to Israel before and was uncertain of the political and social climate, but Oded put me immediately at ease, explaining both the history and the current geopolitics. His main goal was to make the day trip enjoyable for me and did everything to achieve that. I can't overstate how valuable it was to have a private tour. It was worth every penny!Written January 21, 2020
- RogSp0 contributionsExceptional Tour GuideOded proved to be an exceptional guide. He brought us to some of the amazing corners of the city we wouldn’t have gone there by ourselves and it was phenomenal! His knowledge and ability to impart it was outstanding, and he was also very friendly, honest, respectful and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him & would highly recommend to everyone who is interested in the history, food & culture of the Tel Aviv.Written September 29, 2019

From the moment Oded picked us up from the port until our tour started, Oded was engaging, friendly and knowledgeable. We started in Jerusalem where we visited the the Mt Olives, Schindler's Grave and the Old City. We were taken to off the beat and path attractions and provided with detailed explanations. Some fun highlights were coffee amongst the Arabs, authentic foods, markets and shopping. On day 2, he met us at the Tel Aviv train station, after giving us detailed directions on how to get there, and we visited Old Jaffa and Tel Aviv. We walked the city, visited the shuk and covered a lot of ground in the short time we had. Oded is patient, fun and has no problem adjusting the itinerary to meet your last minute ideas. We highly recommend Oded for your tour needs.
