Great tour that takes in major sites in nth Israel .
Caesarea unique place by sea and great inscriptions on display . Hippodrome is fab and helps imagine Circus Maximus in Rome which is bigger but no way as well preserved . Location by sea must have been spectacular . Theatre great too .
Good guide who knew his stuff and made it relaxing visit to some unforgettable places .

I took this trip because I wanted to see the last crusader Stronghold at Akko (Acre). While that was certainly a highlight, it was not the only one.
Acre was a great example of 11th Century Architecture and provided a real sense of crusader life.
The views of Haifa from the top of Mount Carmel were breath taking.
The Grottos at Rosh Hanikra were beautiful and were an unexpected treat.
Cesarea was interesting from a historical perspective. I was especially interested in the construction of it. The site tells a good story but little of the structures survived. I've been to many Roman ruins so though while interesting, no single aspect of the site stood out.

Small group tour of several cities. The highlights were the Roman theatre in Caesaria, the caves in Rosh HaNikra and the Crusader fortress in Akko. The guide provided a lot of background on each city. Many breaks for coffe, lunch and bathroom which may the trio comfortable.

We took this day tour to the north of Israel and booked the English tour. After pick up at the hotel ( they where late ) we took a 45 min ride to a parking lot outside of Tel Aviv . There we had to transfer busses. We had to wait 30 mins for another bus. There we should have been suspicious because we were waiting for the a Spanish tour group. The new bus had 30 people and we came to the realization that the majority of people spoke Spanish and few English on the bus. The guide starting speaking in Spanish and English after another. We were not aware of a bilingual trip and it was very hard to listen so we just had to leave occasionally to rest. The tour had no soul at all, we spoke to some people afterwards and everyone was very sad about having a nightmare of a day. Since the tour is quite expensive we would expect at least a refund (50-100%) of the money however viator was not willing to do that. Additionally, the operator is not viator hence it is easy to move responsibility away and hard for costumers to get their money back. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this tour at all cost. I was on the phone with viator for 1h+ today and am deeply disappointed. I will fight to get my money back and hope you won’t encounter the same issues.

This day trip began at 5:45 am in Jerusalem. After several hotel pickups, we drove into Tel Aviv where some of our passengers transferred to different buses for their particular tour. Once we left Tel Aviv, we had a lovely drive up to Caesarea, with our guide, Daniel, giving us historic context and background on what we were about to see. There’s a great little coffee shop outside the entrance to the fortress, so fear not! Caesarea is an incredibly intact fortress that is further evidence of Herod’s architectural and engineering genius. There’s a tremendous amount of historical evidence of past cultures, and there is an on-going archeological excavation on-site. We spent about two hours at Caesarea before boarding the bus for our next stop. We drove to Haifa and had a lot of explanation about the importance of the city as a port. Although we didn’t spend time in Haifa proper, we drove all the way to the top of the mountain so we could look down on the Baha’i Gardens. We weren’t permitted to walk in the gardens, but there are several levels of viewing platforms so you get a really good appreciation for the beauty of the gardens, as well as the magnitude of the Port of Haifa. From here we continued onto Akko, to the world heritage UNESCO site of the Crusader Citadel for a tour. Personally, for various reasons, this stop was not among my favorites. We did a lunch stop in what was once an Arab marketplace, that is now a quasi-outdoor restaurant. Choices were vegetarian falafel plates or chicken shwarma. The final stop was to the amazing grottos at Rosh HaNikra. These are truly spectacular evidence of the power of erosion by the Mediterranean on the soft stone. You take a quick cable car ride down the side of the mountain (literally 30 seconds) and walk in the well-marked tunnels. The light coming into the cavern, the color of the sea, the clarity of the water all make for a really beautiful natural creation. This marked the end of our tour, and we made it back to Jerusalem in about an hour. It’s a long day, with a lot to see, so the guide kind of rushes you along a bit, but it’s still a great way to spend day learning and sight-seeing.

First off, know that this is a fast-paced day. That's not a bad thing if you know about it going in (which we did). Our tour guide, Aviva, was knowledgable and took care to keep our group together (there were several stragglers) We spent a good portion of time in Caesarea (you do not have time to see everything, but what you see is remarkable) and Acre (had lunch there... limited options but good food - I don't think you're obligated to eat there) For Haifa, it's really a 10-15 minute stop to marvel at the terraced gardens from atop a hill with a great viewing point. You do not enter the gardens. Rosh Hanikra was amazing. The grottoes are breathtaking. The tram is a quick ride and felt very very safe. Pick up and drop off were easy. Drivers were safe. Very pleased!

What a GREAT tour. This is what you want out of a tour in Israel. well-organized with lots of variety. We saw ancient sites, modern architecture, and gorgeous scenery. Good value. Caesarea was my favourite, as it was a great archeological spot. Would recommend to anyone.
