- robertosU5546QD0 contributionsBad organized with the busesWe organize a tour from Tel Aviv to Masada and desde sea passing by Jerusalem, everything was ok in the way to go, the problem was in the way back, the big bus stopped in Abraham Hostel in Jerusalem and the guide told us to change the bus, the organizer, a young girl with curly hair told us to go inside the hostel, the receptionist were very ungry with she, she told us to pick up a bus at one time, someone came to tell us to go in his bus, after is coming the girl and change us to another bus, everyone were complaining and she was apologizing for it. Very bad organized with the buses.Written September 27, 2023
- Linda C0 contributionsGreat tour worth it 👌The tour was excellent it's a pity we didn't get to meet people from Gaza coming through the border due to conflict last week etc. The tour guild talked a lot about the past history.Written September 27, 2023
- patsym7330 contributionsSee the Dead Sea before it disappearsWe did this tour from Jerusalem. It was great. Guide was excellent. Spent plenty of time at Masada. Ein Gedi had paths closed due to rock falls, but our tickets were discounted and we were able to go to the waterfall. Abrahams supplied towels for us at the Dead Sea and we had plenty of time to float and enjoy the mud.Written September 26, 2023
- chchnz1900 contributionsGreat dayAmazing day with Samuel getting us to Masada for a dawn walk up the snake path to the Masada fortress. Samuel then shared the fascinating background to the Dead Sea ecosystem and current ecological challenges. He gave excellent advice. It was 40 degrees celcius and he helped ensure we all stayed safe and hydrated in a beautiful but challenging environment. Great value for money and a wonderful day. Thank you SamuelWritten September 13, 2023
- O2947TNlaurenb0 contributionsAMAZING EXPERIENCE AND WELL WORTH IT!!This was an amazing trip and worth every penny! Everything was very well organized and we saw so much within such a short time. Abraham tors sent a PDF document ahead of time, so you knew what to expect at the border crossing, and everything was very clear once we got a cross into Jordan as well. Our tour guide, Madhi, was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable, open, and answered all of our questions…just an all around great guy and great guide! He also kept us moving at a pace that he knew would be ahead of the larger groups, so that saved us a lot of time. Group size was about 20. 10/10 recommend…if I had to to it again, I wouldn’t go through anyone elseWritten September 8, 2023
- whliu20010 contributionsVery nice and cover all sightsI didn’t know what this tour is going to cover so I also booked a Full-Day Bethlehem, Jericho, and Jordan River Tour on a previous day. It turned this West Bank tour cover all sights of previous day’s tour plus more. It covers West Bank neighborhoods, Ramallah, Palestinian street art, yasser arafat mausoleum besides church of nativity, Jericho and Jordan river. The guides are excellent.Written August 25, 2023
- 883fatmau0 contributionsOne off the best experience I ever had.Had fantastic time with my sisters and the Grup were very nice we bonded like we know each other for a long time. Our tour guide Ali was very good and he was very friendly. I could say it was best holiday i had. Petra was my bucket list and I saw it. When I first see it I burst in tears 😭 it was amazing place. I just want to thank you Abraham your and our tour guide Ali and our driver.Written August 6, 2023
- Fringo110 contributionsGet it bookedA few of the reviews me semi skeptical but couldn’t have been more wrong. Coach driver was extremely informative, cracked a few good jokes and made sure we were aware of our surroundings. Although I guide wasn’t provided, I felt he ticked all the boxes in terms of information. Timing were all spot on, just a shame you don’t get much more time at Ein Gedi but completely understandable given the circumstances of timings.Written July 25, 2023
- 365hananea0 contributionsHorrible ExperienceThis was one of the scariest experiences I have been through, it was a traumatizing experience to say the least. On the way back from Petra to Tel Aviv and crossing the border. We had to go through the security to enter Israel and going through the process I had to wait 30 minutes at the immigration office, after 30 minutes I left the immigration office to find the tour bus already left, at that point I started shaking as it was 7:30pm and started getting darker outside, Also the people that were hanging by the borders looked very unsafe to be around. My friend was on the bus and called me and told me the bus driver refused to wait for me and everyone on the bus was complaining about this reckless behavior but he didn't care at all. I was stranded alone in the border as a female traveler and I had to go through hassle to take a shared taxi with strangers because that what I was able to find to get to Jerusalem and then take another taxi to get to Tel Aviv. I am still recovering from this trip as it was not worthed it the money for the stress you go through. I will not use this company ever again and don't recommend it to people who care about their safety.Written July 11, 2023
- Storyteller1491520 contributionsMy first and last trip with Abraham.Excellent site, great guide and accommodation at the Bedouin Camp. But absolutely disastrous transfer from the border back to Tel Aviv. After touring the whole day, 6 hours on the bus, two hours crossing the border, the van driver didn’t even bother to identify himself to us. We were standing on the curb, making the calls to Abraham with no answers. And when, by luck, we found the van, we were sitting there for over an hour, tired, dirty, and hungry. No one told us anything, so we asked the driver. He angrily explain that we were missing two people from another tour that was running late! A better solution was to send us home and find another way to bring those two. A complete failure, in my opinion!Written June 29, 2023
- PeterR10060 contributionsLoved it! One of the best tours ever!!One of the best tours ever! Go for it!! Palestine is great, so many historical and religious facts happened there like the birth of Jesus and the first ever church in Bethlehem! Also the oldest city in the world Jericho was amazing! They stop to Jordan river as well for some time to get your photos and videos. People are lovely and welcoming! Nice lunch included with healthy food in a beautiful restaurant that makes you feel like home. The tour ends with the graffiti wall which made me sad of how people can live trapped through walls and politics issues! Give Palestinians a chance, they worth it! This tour was so unique and just for a small group. I so recommend it and the Palestinian tour guide was excellent! Loved it!Written June 20, 2023
- chubby2280 contributionsFun trip in JordanThe tour was fun, and our Jordanian tour guide Matty was really good. He gave us very detailed infos and answered all kinds of questions that we asked. He brought treats for us on the bus for the long ride. He made our trip enjoyable, disbit the 4hrs+ drive, and stressful border crossing.Written June 6, 2023
- vadimidav0 contributionsA MUST SEE IN ISRAELWhat a great tour! In a small group of seven (favourite Biblical number) we went in a minibus with an extremely informed and motivated guide Eli to the undeniably most exciting place not only in Israel, but the whole Earth - cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron. Eli gave us an extensive overview of the historical, religious, cultural and political perspective on the city of Hebron and the cave of the Patriarchs. We had a chance to see the both Palestinians and Israeli parts of the cave. Palestinian part was presented by the local guide highlighting Palestinian interests and perspectives - this was very informative and unbiased. We also visited Jewish settlements and some historical places. My favourite of those was graves of Ruth and Jesse - grandmother and father of King David, how exciting. Visiting graves of Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob and Leah - an unforgettable trip! Many thanks to our guide Eli, he was both informing and entertaining, so the time passed very fastWritten May 30, 2023
- Travelbug10001110 contributionsBest GuideOur guide Mahdi and driver Ibrahim were amazing! Everything was well organized with clear communication. We got caught in a rain storm that blocked the road, Mahdi kept us informed and Ibrahim navigated us safely across. The camp we stayed at was really nice, very welcoming staff the campfire and shisha was a lot of fun, the tea was delicious! The boarder took a bit but it was explained to us what was needed and easy to get across, no one in our group had any issues. I absolutely loved it this tour, the people, the food and of course the sites were truly wonderful. If you're debating on going..GO!Written May 29, 2023

Very detailed guidance about the history of the city, a perfect view as historians would do. The guide is deeply local so can speak even from personal eyes and see the city's history in a couple of years' time (and not only from history books).
Will show and take you to all places that are essential to see.
I would recommend for people in good physical condition, quite quick paced and need to take quite big effort to keep pace with it.

The Day Tour of Jerusalem, from Tel Aviv was very good, overall.
I separate my overall rating of the tour into 2 parts, the logistics of getting there/getting around Jerusalem and then getting back to Tel Aviv and then the rating of my tour Guide in Jerusalem - Alex.
The logistics in getting there and getting back were very smooth. Transportation ran on time and did what it was supposed to. My one complaint is concerned with getting around the old city. My wife and I are older (near 70) and the walking, and in particular the number of steps to go up and down, was way more than we were led to believe. During the tour we walked about 6 kms and went up 9 floors of steps (per my Apple phone). Being in an old city that is understandable, my complaint is that we were not told that this would be the case when we specifically asked the Abraham Tour sales staff before we booked.
Finally, with respect to our guide Alex - he was Excellent!! He gave us lots of information/knowledge but not too much. He shared his general knowledge with us but also shared some personal stories as well which made it more meaningful to all of our group. I would highly recommend using Alex to future travelers.

What an awesome trip!! We met at the Abraham Hostel, waited about 15 minutes before boarding the bus and then headed out. Once we got close to Jerusalem, our fantastic guide, Shockel? (I know I spelled that wrong but that is it phonetically)- started telling us all about everything! He was THE BEST GUIIDE EVER!! Literally, he had such a wide area of knowledge, he was fair and level in his history, he knew SO much- it is a long day, lots of walking, but plenty of resting/free time. Wear a hat if it's hot and I suggest a skirt or long shorts that cover the knee or else you have to wear odd skirts at the various holy places. The day was 8-7, so definitely a full day, but one of the best days we spend as far as learning about Jerusalem and seeing the entire city in one fell swoop. I definitely recommend this tour and I really hope you get Shockel, he is a gem!

I truly appreciated Abraham Tours and the full day tour of Jerusalem. We had Alex as a tour guide. Akex managed our group with skill and grace through some busy and hectic circumstances during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. Alex educated and entertained us with great story telling, his in depth knowledge, well placed humor and even a bit of theatre to keep the entire tour of Jerusalem engaging and fun. Thank you to Abraham Tours and Alex!

Our tourguide Tal gave us a comprehensive overview about Old Jerusalem incl. the Wailing Wall and Temple Mount. We benefited a lot from her insights about these holy places. Seeing and experiencing so much history and religious influence, is something I can highly recommend. Abraham tours and Tal organized a great tour. Thanks!

Tour was great! Josh did a fantasic job of leading a group tour in Jerusalem. He took an unbiased approach in explaining the history of Jerusalem in the Muslim, Jewish, and Christian areas. Very laid back tour with stops at local markets in between checking out the religious sites. A great value!

The tour to Jerusalem was awesome. Our guide, Nicola was incredibly knowledgeable and positive. She made the tour fun, enjoyable, and interesting by sharing her deep understanding and appreciation of history and cultures, her great sense of humor, and her sensitive and wise insight into the complexities, ironies, and mysteries of the people, cultures, and religions in Jerusalem, Israel, and the surrounding areas. I would go on a tour with her again in a heartbeat.

Our tour through the old city of Jerusalem with Hagar was amazing. She was passionate, engaging, and most of all knowledgeable. Her insight as a resident of Jerusalem combined well with her obvious interest in history, and made this an unforgettable experience.

Just came from the day tour from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and it was a must do! I’m not staying at the hostel - so wasn’t sure what to expect - but the tour really exceeded my expectations! Our guide, Yariv Sharon was the perfect mix of educational, interesting, friendly and quick witted during our tour. He read the group really well knowing when to slow down and when to move things along. We hit the major points in jerusalem and had enough time to ourselves to reflect and observe the sights on our own. Our group was made up of different nationalities and religions - and everyone got something out of it under Yariv’s guidance. I’d recommend this tour and ask for Yariv!
