About the operator
- Sam A00I booked Bein Harim services. Very satisfied: visit of Old Jerusalem and Yad VashemFriendly and professionally guide with the Bein Hatim tour services. Good and interesting sites have been visited, including the Western Wall and Yad Vashem, the Holocaust memorial.
- F111XQalanc00Excelent!We had the best experience with Eric!! We got to learn a lot about all the history of beautiful Jerusalem! 100% recommended, best way to understand most of the emblematic places in this amazing city.
- jrayest00If tourist guides were Rockstars then Avishay Levy is the Michael JacksonHe is so good and knowledgeable person. As an ex History teacher. Avishay could give you whole Jewish history in 5 minutes. I took the ‘Christian gems around the Sea of Galilee’ Avishay took in his car to all the individual sites as mentioned in the travel itinerary. In addition he went extra mile to show places that was not part of the travel plan. So he stopped at the ‘Heptapegon’ , Show Capernaum from far. Avishay even got us discounts at the stores of Yigal Allon Museum on Kibbutz Ginosar. Last for the best. He took us into the wedding church at cana. During an ongoing sermon. Of course we were quiet and polite. We got a vip access to the church. While other tourists were waiting outside. He patiently answered all of my annoying questions. Some of them were also sensitive questions. Avishay answered all of them honestly. He grabbed a map from the store 😂 to explain geography lessons on Dead sea tectonic plates. Seriously felt I am back to school. Out of all. The most important one!! Avishay risked his life by entering Palestinian territory (This was for another group tour to Bethlehem and jericho). Israeli guide inside a Palestinian territory is almost a suicide. Avishay is the man, myth the legend among the tourist guides. Ask him about the “Michael Schumacher” story. I bet you will love it. Summary is if you either book group tour or private tour with Avishay. You will have best guaranteed life time experience. Memories for life.
- michaelwB7851ZJ00My bucket list tour to walk where Jesus walkedVery nice tour, both tour guides were excellent. I was hoping to actually go to the Garden of Gethsemane rather than drive by, but all in all I loved it and would highly recommend
- koredea201600Well organised TourThis was my second Tour booked with Bein Harim. It was well organised just like the first. Got a WhatsApp reminder a day before, pick up was on time, we met up in Jerusalem and switched vehicles depending on the tour we were booked on. Information was clear and everything went smoothly. The vehicles were clean, fully air conditioned with Wi-Fi and charging ports. Our guides Maria and Yoav were really good. We had Yoav the whole day and multilingual Maria just for Bethlehem cos we had English and Spanish speakers in the group for the Bethlehem leg of the tour. Yoav was kind and accommodating as we had an elderly lady who struggled with mobility on the group. He was very funny and entertaining too. Enjoyed every bit of this tour and would definitely recommend Bein Harim.
- koredea201600Amazing experience. This was amazing! Went with my sister and I must say that Bein Hardin Tour company are fantastic! From the booking, to email confirmation, WhatsApp confirmation a day before the trip, pick up and the whole experience… they were brilliant! Our tour guide Itamar (Moses’ nephew) was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Would definitely recommend this tour and Bein Harim.
- TheodosiaMoya00Excellent guide Eli YacobThe guide Eli Yacob was incredibly good. So knowledgeable, interesting, energetic, humorous. He absolutely made our trip to Israel special!
- A9536WGkathleens00We loved by our tour of Northern Israel! We really enjoyed seeing so many interesting sights on one tour. Our guide, Udi, was a fount of knowledge and a lot of fun. A great day all around!
- pdgj8300Dissapointing tour overallDissapointing tour of bethelem and jerusalem, the trip was mosty a bus trip, in the morning we saw mosty things from the bus ans the spent 1h in a souvenir shop. Then we headed to the nativity church were things felt rushed as lunch time was at 12, so the mornign was spent mostly on bus/sog enir shop and lunch (that we used to visit bethelem on our own). Then headed back to jerusalem were we did the walking tour, this part was better, but really not worth the money paid for the tour.
- brianhH8132ZA00Amazing experience seeing all the sites from scriptureWe stayed in Israel for 5 days and did three tours. This was hands down the best one. Our guide, Yoav, was amazing. As we walked through the city, he seemed to know everyone. It was like you were getting a tour from the mayor of Jerusalem. He was also super knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts about each of the sites we visited. Getting to see Bethlehem and Jerusalem was a bucket list dream of mine. I am so happy that this was the tour I chose to take to make it happen.
- Jason N00Enjoyable day tripWe had a really enjoyable and informative day with our tour guide, Itamar. The tour was well-paced with plenty of stops for r&r. We would highly recommend this tour.
- ziyikuek00Good tourOne of the best tour I have had. Aviv was very knowledgeable in his histories and stories. Handing our tour in both French and English! However we did not once felt tied down or slowed down by his dual explaining he was doing. He handled his group very professionally, informing us of our gathering point and route very detailedly. Love all the information on Masada and the relax time at Dead Sea in the end!
- Ignacio M00Magnificent and uniqueRafael is the best guide, very knowledgeable about all the biblical places we visited, and always in a good mood and gave us a lot of confidence. Thanks Rafael!
- bhnc14000Great One Day Tour Full of So Much HistoryI made sure we had a free Saturday in Tel Aviv after returning from a cruise and before we flew home. There were many places we could have visited during this day, but Jerusalem and Bethlehem were by far the most attractive options. Pickup time was early - before 7am at a larger hotel less than 5 minutes walk from us and the bus pulled up right on time. We were driven a short distance to the "meeting point" where everyone was shuffled of to different buses. It was pretty efficient, and we were off. During the drive to Jerusalem (1 hour+) we were given an overall history of Israel. Interesting. Ah, but there was also a stop at a coffee shop / diner. Elvis Presley themed. Yes, you hear that right. It worked as a restroom stop, too. Wife and I ordered 2 coffees. The charge was about $17.50US or so. I was shocked, but ok. They weren't even big mugs. When we got back to the bus I realized (from hearing others talk) that the price include the Elvis-themed mugs. That made me feel a little better even though we left our mugs inside ... our extra suitcase space was reserved for more local treasures anyway. Remember, the coffee price INCLUDES the mugs. The first part of the tour had me a bit worried. It was mostly seeing things from the bus and taking pictures out of the windows. Alas, we finally did get to leave the bus at a couple of lookups and site. Later and in both locations we also did get off to bus to explore churches and such. We had 3 hours or so of guided old Jerusalem and then some minimal free time. In all, for a bus tour, the time was allocated well. Bethlehem came before Jerusalem this day. There was some concern with is that this went into the Palestinian area. Alas, we had no trouble all stress was relieved once we got there. Tourism is just that, and the people made us comfortable, including the lunch there. Also, the large Christian gift shop was interesting and my wife loved it (Perhaps a little too much!$$). Our tour guide, Avishay, was excellent. Humorous, knowledgeable and very helpful/accommodating. We lucked out getting him! At one point my wife wondered off (during free time) and we couldn't find her. He made a plan that reduced any impact on the rest of the group and gave time to find her. It all worked out (she had gotten stuck in a crush of people moving through one of the Stations of the Cross areas). I was stressed yet his calming and organized planning made it work out ok. In all, a very worthwhile and enjoyable tour. I am so glad we chose to take this one.
- LCF_bixupetit00Not worth itThe overall tour experience was bad, if we take into consideration what we paid for it. We were picked up from the starting point only to go to a different meeting point where we were combined with the people going to our same trip as ours. Only that took a fair amount of time. Once we started on the tour, our guide was highlighting points of interest on our way to Bethlehem and ask people to take pictures from the bus. As you can imagine, that, is not what we were expecting from a tour. We would have liked to make a stop on those points and properly see the thing rather than passing by and “see” it from the bus. One place where we did stop on our way was a souvenir shop that I can only think has some sort of agreement with the operator in order to get the people to buy things there. We stop there for more than an hour and we resumed our trip to Bethlehem passed 11:00 am having yet seen nothing at all when we have been picked up before 8:00 am. The Bethlehem tour lasted less than an hour and we felt it quite rushed as lunch time was approaching. We decided to just skip lunch to see a bit more of the city on our own and meet with the group once they have finished. After that, we headed back to Jerusalem where we finally could walk a bit around the city. We basically went through half the stations in Via Dolorosa street and the western wall however everything still pretty rushed as the day was coming to an end. In our opinion, smaller groups would be more manageable in order to get the most out of the visited sites and have a guide properly explaining you the history of them, otherwise, the tour doesn’t really provide any additional value than going on your own.

My husband, daughter (age 8) and I joined this tour group (or family as our guide liked to call us all) last week and it was easily the best day of our trip to Israel.
Our guide was entertaining, thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable, he had a tricky name to pronounce so said that we should call him Isaac.
We stopped at so many different sites along the way, it was amazing how much we fit in to one day. This is a great tour to do if you are short on time in the area.
My daughter learnt so much, which she has enjoyed telling her class mates back in the UK. The things we enjoyed the most were taking the cable car to the top of temptation mountain, seeing the Sycamore tree that the bible reads Zacchaeus climbed to see Jesus and also our trip to the Dead Sea. We also squeezed in a quick camel ride, a stop at an Elvis museum, a trip to the Jordon river, lunch and a spot of shopping. We also met some great people from different countries and it was a pleasure to spend the day with them.
On the drive back everyone slept but I enjoyed the 80's music Isaac listens to and we sang along and chatted about it. A very memorable day : )

We didn’t start the day well due to their internal operations miscommunication and leaving 7 passengers going on this tour stranded in a carpark meeting point. We’ve told quite a few different guide that we were waiting for bus 11 but none called the office to report or check. Upon reporting, luckily we have local numbers, they booked a taxi for us to catch up with the bus at jeralseum and it was embarrassing that the bus load of passengers were waiting for us.
Well, they did resolve the problem ultimately as we managed to join the tour but about 1.5 hours were wasted and thus leaving us less time to enjoy the highlight of the tour Dead Sea/
I also want to shout out and commends on the driver and the our guide Josef .. he is knowledgeable , funny and good service. He managed to appease the feelings caused by the morning hiccup

We are most appreciative for you sharing honestly that there was a morning logistic hitch that we corrected, however irritating and as you mention a bit embarrassing (not owing to your mistake). Our morning procedure of shuttle and then redesignation to tour bus for the day from central meeting pt ,can be confusing, and also mishaps such as yours. Happy to read that our ops team rectified it with a taxi ride to catch up. Your guide and driver deserve the positive feedback for their efforts and management of the situation.
Thanks for this sincere and thorough feedback. We sure hope to rectify this misunderstanding so it won't occur again.

Yaov was our driver and tour guide while on our tour to Jericho and the Dead Sea.
Personally we loved it. He was funny and helpful and informative. He was easy going and showed us things at our pace. Always remembering out names and where we were from.
I've been on many countless tours, from the big bus to the red bus to safari tours and much more, but I enjoyed this one the most. Yaov was courteous and generous, even going as far as to buy us bananas from Jericho.
I dont only recommend this type of tour but hope when you do you get Yaov as your tour guide.
We've decided to add a tour to our list and will be going on the Galilee tour on Saturday.
All the best.
Thanks YOAV MALACHI.
Sincerely
Zasha and Gareth

My husband and I joined this tour last September our guide has difficult name for us to pronounce so for short he said we can call him Zachi or Isaac.- he is well prepared and knowledgeable. The tour is fantastic, nice view of Jericho from the Mt. of Temptation and we enjoyed it so much most especially the floating on the Dead Sea.

This was the best tour we've had while in Israel. We visited Jericho in the morning, while it was not too hot which was great. Jericho is the place full of history, so everyone should definitely see it. At the end of a hot day spending a few hours in the Dead See was a bonus. Our tour guide Zahi (Isaak) was simply the best. He was very passionate and enthusiastic about what he's doing, he's very knowledgeable and I believe that a great guide is 99% of a tour's success. He always made sure the group was together and noone was left behind. Highly recommend this tour.
