- O9157KHshawnc00More about giving to local economy rather than learnThe guide never finished her thoughts , the ax in the van did not cool off the van. The driver complained of the vans transmission problems. Your was very rushed only allowed to use restroom 1 time. Then brought to a restaurant for lunch around 2 pm and rushed to leave. The buffet was very expensive and the drinks were not included. The guide told us to tip these people. But I get it was very poor of this company. Went on a tour with a competitor a few days back and had such a better experience and atmosphere. Rent a guide in Israel is all about taking tourist money , rushing and making more by patronizing businesses who give money or things back to rent a guide
- colinb89400ExcellentWe did the Jerusalem/Bethlehem tour and the Galilee /Nazareth tour and they were both excellent from pick up at our hotel to drop off , friendly , professional , informative …
- S3282ZFbrucep00Good not greatThis was two languages, meaning there were 12 Spanish speakers and us. The guide had to repeat everything in two languages and we couldn’t communicate with most of the group or hear their questions. Not ideal. The guide was knowledgeable, but it just didn’t feel the emotional experience. The Dead Sea experience was great. Kind of unexpected that we had to sit through a sales presentation from a local cosmetic company who made products from Dead Sea, but we enjoyed .it anyway. The lunch stop was also disappointing. . Finally, if we hadn’t called, we would not have been at the right pickup spot. Guess we won’t use these again.
- Sightsee22749800Tour to Masada and The Dead SeaHad a great trip with our guide Jerry. Masada was a very interesting place to visit. The views were amazing. And we really enjoyed our swim in The Dead Sea. It was really nice to be with our small group instead of the large buses that were there.
- colinb89400ExcellentWe had a great experience and learnt a lot from Hava Dorany our guide , was picked up promptly at hotel and enjoyed stops at Nazareth, Magido, Sea of Galilee, River Jordan , great atmosphere , professional , friendly, knowledgeable, the Jerusalem tour was also great …
- marymia198000ExcellentVery knowledgeable and enjoyed the tour. Hava made for a fun day! Lots of smiles and laughter! would highly recommended Hava! Thanks again Hava! Mary C
- NorthStar59174200Best tour guideHava was the best tour guide. We had an amazing day! So knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend her as your tour guide.
- Yuka M00Amazing Israel tour with Meni T!!I had a family trip to Israel for two weeks and had Mr.Meni T from Rent-a-Guide. He was the most knowledgeable guide I had ever met in my life. Not only did he explain to us about Judaism, culture and Israeli customs, but he also told us about geographic characters, tribes and Israeli people's life. Whatever I see through the window on a bus, Mr. Meni starts to talk outside views. It was non-stop knowledgeable explanations from him. By his time-organized guide, we were able to avoid all busy traffic and had enough shade on each location. I sincerely thank Mr. Meni for our safe amazing trip.
- fraychel00Spiritually Amazing!I have never visited Israel before, but came recently as a part of a conference. Since I had some free time, I booked this tour which was recommended by the conference organizers. My tour guide was Daniel and he was a humble yet wonderfully knowledgeable guide, providing in-depth historical and Biblical (both Old and New Testament) context to the places we were visiting. Not only that, he has been doing this a while, so he knows the staff at each site almost like family. We felt like part of family as a part of the tour! Note that it is a long tour because of the distance to drive and traffic. I departed from my pickup at 6 AM and returned at 7 PM - a testament to Daniel's driving / endurance. Also note that you may possibly transfer from your pickup shuttle to the tour shuttle. With that, sites visited included Nazareth - The Basilica of the Annunciation - Saint Joseph's Church - (Time Permitting) Synagogue Church - Time for souvenir purchasing The Yardenit Cana - (Time Permitting) the Church where Jesus turned water into wine Tabgha - The Church where Jesus fed the 5,000 with five loaves and two fishes Capernaum - The Church built upon the home of Simon Peter - The Sea of Galilee Magdal - Lunch with 'St. Peter's Fish'
- Susan H00Meni Tzabari our guide to our Jewish Heritage Tour of IsraelMeni Tzubori was our guide on the 14 day Ayelet Jewish Heritage Tour of Israel I can’t say enough about what a superb guide Is Meni. Very considerate, thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable about all the sites we saw. He always answered our questions and also explained the differences between Israeli customs and those in America. Meni picked us up promptly and kept us on schedule in addition to the agenda he always had a surprise site to see. He made certain that we bought from ‘kosher’ state run stores that were honourable and gave us fair prices. Meni has a wonderful sense of humour and could handle the most difficult traveller with grace and warmth and always nicely with control. We had a wonderful experience on our journey and Meni made it so
- hoff1066002023 Family Trip to IsraelMeni Tzubari has been the best tour guide I've ever had. I actually don't normally like taking formal tours and usually like going on my own. However Meni Tzubari was extremely knowledgeable about every place we toured. His knowledge and entertaining style made my children excited to learn about their Jewish heritage. I highly recommend using Rent A Guide and Meni Tzubari in particular.
- judybounan00Israel from the Galilee to EilatUnique experiences in addition to the Jewish heritage tour thanks to our guide, Meni Tzabari. Fabulous time with my granddaughter!
- jonathan_temoschenko00Try it, and living a unique tour! Not only the best, the One! Not only a guide, a Coach! Not only a tour, an Experience! Not only describing, living the History in his heart!
- hannahcH1393SI00Amazing!This trip was amazing. Our tour guide Meni Tzabari was super interactive and informative. Definitely would recommend!
- cathym18500Amazing trip!We had such an amazing trip seeing Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth and all the wonderful sites. Our guide, Meni Tzabari, was terrific. He was very knowledgeable about the sites, the history of the different religious periods and the local culture. In addition to the scheduled sites on our tour, he took us to local spots, not on the tourists agenda. Our safety, comfort and happiness were all very important to Meni. If you're coming to Israel, be sure to request Meni.

Tamar @ WORLD EXRESS TRAVEL, L.A., found Meni Tzabari making our Israeli experience come alive. Never have I had a scholar with such storytelling abilities and knowledge, shine the love of his country told with such pride. Made it the most interesting travel experience of a lifetime. Look forward to Tamar setting up another trip, since working within budgets that allow us to go back soon! Strongly recommend this 11 day tour we were able to see almost all the highlights, with Meni maneuvering us early before the crowds which allowed us to see extra sights!

We did a 2 day tour of Tel aviv, followed by 5 days Jerusalem/dead sea/Masada. Meni Tzabari was with us and our entire time with our small group of fun new friends. Meni was truly the absolute best! His knowledge of the areas and history--incredible, he knows EVERYONE (and I mean everyone). Everywhere we went Israelis were excited to see him and happy to see us as we were with him! He mixed in so much good humor and warm spirit that we keep quoting and we've been home over a week!
He is an absolute pleasure and the best guide we have traveled with (and we travel a lot). If you want to love Israel as much as we did make sure Meni T is your guide!

This tour was great. Saw all the main sights, for a good period if time. Of course there is a full agenda so can't hang around too much, but generally we didn't feel too rushed. The guide was a real character and made the trip for us

Nice tour guide. Everything was on time. The bus was fine. But, the whole experience was too canned.
Tour guide was good but the experience was too canned. The stops at the one gift shop and restaurant were a rip-off. I did not like the feeling of being funneled into a situation in which I was taken advantage of. I wish we had been given more freedom about where to buy souvenirs and eat.

A nice pleasant trip with Ben Harim tour agency. Zahi Shaked- best guide to go for. He is funny, knowledgeable, easy to understand and patient with tourists. We had a 7 year old toddler with us on trip- there wasn’t a problem at all!

Had a great trip with Bein Harim Tourism and Shaked "Zachi" and driver Aviv to Jerusalem and the Dead Sea. The first half we spent plenty of time driving through and walking Jerusalem. Zachi provided plenty of historical and personal information during the tour. We were able to navigate through the streets and stopped at interesting points to hear about it's cultural and historical relevance. In the afternoon we drove to the Dead Sea and spent a couple of hours floating and taking a mud bath. All thanks to Aviv who seemed to know the best roads and lanes to take. The trip is a must if you have a day in Tel Aviv.

We couldn't have been happier with Goira, our tour guide. He is a retired history teacher and not only knew so much but presented it in a simple way for all of us to understand and retain. You could tell he enjoyed it as well. Great day, Goira, thank you! - Felixa and Mickey, Oct 11, 22.

This tour was so bad I don’t even know where to start. The first problem is the tour guide’s lack of knowledge; he didn’t seem to know much about the historic sites. Either that, or he couldn’t communicate it well. Regardless, my friend and I had to rely on shop keepers and other people who worked at various sites in Jerusalem for additional information regarding the history of said sites. Our overall experience felt rushed. While touring the Old City, you only get a few minutes at each site. Our guide would sometimes deviate from the tour to show us additional sites that no one in the group really cared to see. I say this because in doing so, we had even less time at sites we cared about. The biggest problem was the fact that we only got 10 minutes at the Wailing Wall, and 20 minutes at the church in which lay the tomb of Jesus. This was not enough time at either of these sites (FYI, these were the longest site visits, the rest were significantly shorter). Further, we kept asking to stop to purchase souvenirs as well as food, but our guide refused and told us we’d have time later. What the tour guide failed to mention was that this tour takes you out of the Old City to a restaurant of their choosing. At this restaurant, you can only pick food items that have been preapproved by the tour. This restaurant also has a souvenir job. Essentially, the tour makes a commission from the food and souvenirs you buy. At no point was that communicated to us. We wanted to purchase souvenirs in the Old City and bring them to the historic sites to be blessed. You also did not have a wide selection to chose from in terms of souvenir items and they were all overpriced compared to the ones we saw in the Old City. The next part was the Dead Sea. Originally, we were told we’d have two hours. However, once we got to the resort, we were told we had 1 hour. Again, not enough time. They took us to a rundown dirty resort. There are countless other resorts with beautiful beaches and views that could have been selected but instead they chose that one. Overall, not only is this tour rushed, but your experiences feel cheap. Save your money and pick a different tour. If I could go back, I would.

We were ready for pickup as scheduled at 07h20. We were supposed to be heading to Jerusalem by 08h00, we finally starting driving there around 08h30. On our way the bus broke down. It was not until 09h50 that a new bus arrived to pick us up. We arrived at Jerusalem almost at 11h. The tour through Jerusalem was ULTRA fast, unfortunately the guide was not very knowledgeable and understandable. She was taken away by the frustration of the whole situation of the bus and the people's complaints.
We then followed the Bethlehem tour... Another disaster... Only 1 visit to the church/cave where Jesus was born and then they took us 30/45 min of shopping outside the city center of Bethlehem, therefore, we couldn't even walk around.
What a disappointment!

Bonjour,
Merci beaucoup

I am not certain however a tip would be to book it via one of the international hotels travel desk if you are in Tel Aviv...for example Hilton Travel Desk..
