          Masada Dead sea relax
I really enjoyed the trip! The guide Eyal was very provident and professional! I Learned a lot about the places we passed by. We went through the sites without any hurry. The things were explained in an very eupeptic manner. Although we passed through the Westbank in summer 2024, there was no impression of any danger on the way. Local people we found where very kind at all places. The stay at the beach was about 1.5h, enough to enjoy this extraordinary place. Thanks for a very nice trip!

          Jerusalem in a rush
It was a really nice trip! The guide Abu Shai was very professional, a history professor giving courses in US universities, as he stated. And indeed a lot of historical background was given beyond the facts about the sites we visited. Furthermore information was always intended to be in a consistent (not always religious) context. I really enjoyed the discussions. Unfortunately, we went through Jerusalem with a great portion of hurry, not really giving us time to rest and contemplate as I would have preferred for such a magic place on earth. People were also told to don't stop at any stall or photographic site except the ones we were told by the guide. The excuse was that we had to pass by so many places in the given time frame. Finally we finished the tour in around 6 hours. Anyway I learned a lot and enjoyed what I found. Thanks

Unforgettable Masada and Dead Sea Adventure!
This "Masada and the Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv" was incredible! The convenience of hotel pickup and drop-off, combined with comfortable air-conditioned travel, made the journey stress-free. Our guide's detailed explanations at Masada were enlightening, enhancing our appreciation of this historic site. Floating in the Dead Sea was a surreal experience, with optional therapeutic treatments available. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Israel!

          Trip of a lifetime!
Avi was our driver and tour guide. Easy efficient pick up and drop off. This was a 'return' trip for me after 53 years. Avi made the trip live up to all my expectations and more. We covered the Sea Level pit stop on the way down to the rift valley from Jerusalem. The cable car ascent of Masada and Avi gave us just the right depth of insight without any stress or rush. Then our time at Kalil Beach for our float in the Dead Sea and our self-pasting with Dead Sea mud was the best! A once in a lifetime experience not to be missed. It was a humbling honour to be blazing the trail for the return of tourism to Israel after the devastation wrought on 7 October 2023.

          Unreliable
The operator cancelled the tour 12 hours beforehand and all the others were booked. Unacceptable and unprofessional. The guide then did not return text messages. Stay away from this.

Great tour and amazing tour guide
This trip was the highlight of my time in Israel. Itamer was an amazing tour guide- his knowledge of history, Israel, and the Bible all fused to make this trip really memorable. All the sites we visited were amazing, there was ample time at each one but it didn’t feel like we were there for too long, and Itamer did a great job conducting the tour in multiple languages for different people. He truly cared about each person having a great experience. Visiting Jesus place where he grew up and did most of his ministry was truly incredible and the price for the tour was great. If you go, download what’s app because they will communicate with you that way for the pick up and drop off.

          Horrible experience with Viator
Horrible tour to Valle de Guadalupe We bought a tour to Valle de Guadalupe, from a supposed “Tour company.” They sent us 4 people plus the driver in a 4 persons sedan car, my daughter had to go in the middle for 6 hours. The driver was talking on the phone back and forth, when I told him that I thought it was dangerous for us to do it, he said that he had a lot of experience driving 8 wheelers, so he didn't stop. I don't think it's allowed to take tourists this way. So unprofessional, didn't know anything about the area, he just transported us to the destination in the most uncomfortable and dangerous way. At the last point, the vineyard where they gave us a cheese board, he sat at our table and loudly talked on her cell phone, taking away the only pleasant experience of the entire day. What he did share with us, was all the dangerous places in the area. Although the driver tried, this company is not a professional tour company. We brought a bigger and safer truck, if we had known how bad it would be, we would have left on our own.

          Bad experience!
This tour was badly organized .First we waited outside the hotel for an hour before we were picked up .No one knew where to go .We thought we were finally starting the trip .But we were taken to this hilly top where we waited another hour in a dingy cafe . The tour was rushed as it was getting late .For lunch everyone is taken to this awful resturant with chaos ,substandard food and fighting crowds . Before going into the resturant you have to go thru a shop and they push coupons to you to buy super expensive products . Guide did not have much knowledge or rather one sided knowledge .We were rushed thru Masada which was the main attraction .I asked him a couple of questions breaking his monologue. He did not like it and was very rude . Do not take this tour .If you do bring your own food . It was a waste of money .

While the sites were beautiful to see, one major flaw happened on our trip: the air conditioning was not working on our bus. Our driver assured us it would get better when the bus got going but it was a fan at best. It is 102 outside and this made for a sweltering ride.
Note: there are bus transfers involved where people from other groups get on your bus. Normally not a big deal, but very difficult when added body heat and proximity make it even warmer.
If you go in cooler weather and your air conditioning works, you will likely have a much more pleasant trip. The sites you visit are beautiful and important places in the Bible.

Dear Kelly T, Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for this inconvenience and can understand your dissatisfaction. The Israeli summer can get scorching, especially in the Sea of Galilee region. Sometimes the AC cannot handle the load, no matter how well maintained it is. This is not an excuse, just a share of some of the issues we are facing. We are doing our best to resolve this issue, and we apologize for this bad experience. You are more than welcome to contact our customer care department and we'll do whatever we can to resolve this particularly.

I am a repeat customer with Bein Haim Tourism Services because their tours are run well with helpful, knowledgeable and personable guides. Yoav Malachi was my guide again for this tour and I appreciate the sensitivity that Yoav and his colleagues extend to each tourist that come into their care. As before, I could focus on the business of enjoying my stay in Israel and learning more about her people, culture, and history. While the tour was chock full of informational activities, there was always time to internalize the experience which is much appreciated. Thank you again to Bein Haim Tourism Services and their wonderful guides!

We had a very early start waking up at 5am in the morning.

We were picked up on time and our group was directed to the small bus as we had only 10 participants. Our guide, Daphna, spoke perfect English and was very attentive to our requests. The weather was a bit chilly but no rain.

The first part of the drive was on the highway, but then we passed by the Valley of Izrael, the place King Solomon died. After the WWII many emigrants from Europe came to the valley, which was basically a swamp at that time, but the new Aliyah built a kibbutz there and the swamp had become a fertile land.

Then we passed by the Mounts of Nazareth, Mount Precipice and Nazareth, but didn’t stop there. Daphne also mentioned about Mount Tabor (the site of Transfiguration) and allowed us to take pictures.

Our next stop was at Kfar Khanna to visit the

Wedding Church of Cana. This is a very important Christian site but for us it didn’t mean much. The church I was built in the 19th century and its architecture is unattractive. The only thing that interested us was the ruins of the Byzantine Synagogue, discovered underneath the church.

In a short while we arrived to the magnificent Sea of Galilee (Lake Kinneret).to see the Mount of Beatitudes. Again, the church was not something to remember for us, but hundreds of Christians flocked it, so apparently this site is very important to all of them and we tried to keep low profile and stepped outside immediately to give them more space. We came to this site to enjoy the beauty of Lake Kinneret and we were not disappointed. The view of the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights on a sunny morning as well as in the rain (we had both) is absolutely mesmerizing.

Our next stop was Kibbutz Ginassar, where we have seen an amazing archeological find: the 2,000 years old fishing boat (Jesus’s boat). We also learned about its discovery and meticulously performed transportation from the excavator site to the museum at Kibbutz Ginassar.

Then we headed to our last stop, Magdala, but first we had lunch at the Tamar Restaurant. Our lunch was very good, but our group had to seat at one big table, and this is something I don’t like. I had delicious grilled chicken breast with yellow rice and my husband had crusted sea bass fillet with the same rice. We also had a salad bar and their salads were mouthwatering. Not bad for a group lunch. The price was 180 shekels for the two of us.

After lunch we explored fascinating Magala’s excavations, which are still ongoing. Magdala is a hometown of Mary Magdalene and also the site of the first century Synagogue. This is where the two main religions had their paths crossed.

On the way back we stopped at Yardenit Baptismal site and witnessed the Baptism being performed. Not something we were interested in, but that’s what the tour itinerary had to offer.

We passed Tiberias on the way to Tel Aviv and it didn’t look like a resort to me… really rundown and unattractive place, besides the long promenade.

We arrived at the hotel around 6pm and went for a glass of wine with strawberries.

Very tiring day but beautiful Lake Kinneret deserves it.

Loved the tour so much specially how interesting our tour guide Lorne Newman explained everything. He made it fun and also very educational. The tour was well organized with the amount of places that we visited in the Sea of Galilee. Pickup time and drop off were very easy and within time. Really enjoyed this trip with a lot of valuable information that was given.

An outstanding visit to Nazareth and the Christian sites around the Sea of Galilee. Ben, our tour guide, and his team did an amazing job showing us around and explaining all the different sites. I have to point out that Ben is very knowledgeable and adapts his pace to his guests’ needs making sure everyone gets enough time to explore the sights on their own and to take pictures. The day felt very pleasant and Ben and his team made sure everyone is comfortable and being cared about. I will definitely book another tour with Bein Harim on my next visit to Israel.

We were very satisfied with the service of Bein Harim Tours. We were picked up straight from the hotel in the morning and brought back in the evening. The sites we visited were all beautiful and best known for their religious and historical importance. At about 13 pm we had lunch in a restaurant by the sea with a wonderful view. Most of all I would like to recommend our guide Mr. Eliran Kaissar -his knowledge about all sites as well as the delightful and competent way of keeping people alert and interested must be highly appreciated. With his humor and friendliness he managed to render us an unforgettable day. Thank you!

We were picked up on time at our location, which was booked by Bein Harim, because we took a multiple day tour. It was a small group we were traveling with, only nine tourists. Therefore, our tourguide was the driver as well, which made it sometimes difficult to understand what he wanted to say when we've been traveling. When he turned his head to check the road, his mouth was no longer in front of the microphone. Therefore, a headset would have been better. Besides this, we could understand our Tourguide Avi better.
Avi spoke about the different things pretty neutral, but sometimes not with much enthusiathm, but it was okay. He answered all our questions and due to the small group, I asked more questions than normally, which was an advantage.
The places we've been visiting were more or less interesting, but just crazy how everywhere churches are built were something happened (or actually might have happened). If you like to visit such holy churches, you should attemp this trip. But for us, it was not completely our taste. Assumably, we would not have visited the Church of the Beautidues nor the Church in Cana. They are beautiful churches, but not our taste, therefore only four of five stars.
Nevertheless, the City of Magdala was interesting to see the foundings from the time of Jesus and to see that Jews lived there at that time. The boat from about the time of Jesus was fascinating too, as well to read how they preseved it.
All in all is the Tour good and depending on your taste worth to visit. ;)

We extremely fortunate to have chosen Viator specifically "Christian Sites by the Sea of Galilee. it occured on Dec. 8, 2022. Our tour operator was Mr. Abu Shay who was formerly a professor in history and now a tour guide for Bein Harim Inc. We were especting 40 passengers in a tour bus, and to our delight there are oly 6 of us in small van driven by Abu Shay. This was also our 50th Anniversary for the month of December. Well, Mr. Shay gave us the best gift by going to Church of Cana our first stop. There, we renewed our vows while he acted as videographer and our fellow travelers became our wedding guests. Truly memorable!!! From Church of Cana, we proceeded to Church of Mt. Beatitude. Another surprise, we visited Yigal Alon Museum which is unknown to many tours. It is a place where you can find the ancient firsherman boat from Jesus time. From there we visited Magdala, birthplace of Mary Magdalene. A place that is reverred by Jewish and Christian Church. We thought our 10 hour tour ended there, however Mr. Shay would like to go our of his way to please everybody. Instead of going back to Tel Aviv, he proceeded to River Jordan and visited Yardenit, a place in Israel where baptism of immersion are done which are popular among tourists.

Bein Harim sincerely appreciates such a detailed and praiseful review and your immense satisfaction with Avishay, the guide. You visited spectacular locations with such significance for many. You certainly got a taste of what it means to go the extra mile, and have travelers experience this, making it so memorable. It is clear Avishay is most deserving of this feedback for his efforts.
