We have been travelling with friends to Israel and with Irene and Anders as guides 2014, 2018, and also visiting Israel this autumn 2019.
Irene has an extraordinary knowledge about the middle east, especially Israel. Knowing geography, history, archeology and the Bibel with sharpeness and a fantastic spirit of sharing when guiding the group. Always happy with humor and good travelplanning. She can sing and tell good old swedish stories
Anders is a lovely well known and respected Bibleteacher. He really brings out the essence of the whole Bible related to the places, situations and the country we pass during the journey. And he also can sing.
We recommend a trip to Israel with both of them. You will enjoy it; learn a lot more than you thought possible and laugh even more!

We were a university group that traveled together under the certified and highly professional guide Irén Kärrbrant. After her 40 years of living in Israel, the whole group could just relax to be led safe and sound to the best "waterholes", beyond the tourist traps. Irens broad network also let us meet the locals, even in the palestinian economy, and she had a very balanced approach telling the "story" of both sides regarding the tension between the different ethnic groups in the region.
Together with her multilingual and deep historical/religious/archeological knowledge, the thing that impressed me most is how she cared for every individual in the group, making us all feel that we got a new friend in Jerusalem. Since I myself lead group trips and know how essential the right guide is, I recommend anyone to contact Iren for their next trip to Israel. I garuantee a great time but also alot of hearty laughs along the way!
