We visited Jerusalem for a day and it made me want to explore more of Israel. We booked our day tour with Laila Tours and Travel. We crossed the border from Jordan to Israel. As soon as we stepped out of the Israel Border, our tour guide, Raed immediately welcomed us. Together with our friendly driver, Ahmed, we drove to Mount Olives which has extensive view of Jerusalem. Raed’s explanation of Jerusalem from Mount Olives was great way for us to grasp all the important events that occurred there. Seeing the wailing wall, touching the rock where the cross of Jesus was, entering an enclosed space where the tomb of Jesus was, and witnessing the faith of so many individuals from different parts of the world, it made me realize how blessed I am to be standing in a place where Jesus once was. I hope someday I could go back and I would definitely book Raed and Ahmed to be my tour guide and driver. I could listen to Raed all day and learn so much from him not just about Jerusalem but also about the people there. Aside from Ahmed driving safely, he also made sure we arrived to our destination on scheduled time. Thank you Raed and Ahmed for an amazing experience.

Our guide, Raed, waited for us outside the border in Israel and immediately gave us a warm smile. We then proceeded to to our private van and was met with our driver, Ahmed, who gave us a smile as well. On the way to Jerusalem, Raed explained to us any important sites that we pass by and also informed us ahead of time if there was any check point and what to prepare. We appreciated the way he explained to us any important facts about where we were so we didn’t hesitate asking any questions for him in which he was able to answer. We felt very safe the entire time we were there and we were 2 women traveling in this place in which a lot of people are afraid to go to. It gave us a new light to the situation there. Since there were few tourists we didn’t have any trouble taking photos and visiting religious areas as there were little to no queue at all. Would definitely like to visit again and visit other areas as well since we only did a day tour and the border from the Israel side closes at 3 pm. One day isn’t enough to visit Jerusalem but Raed made sure that we were able to visit a lot places and made our time worthwhile.

I visited last week with a group of friends and thanks to the superb organisation of the trip by Laila and Maria everything ran like clockwork from the pick up and drop off at Ben Gurion to the day excursions. What especially impressed was the deep knowledge of our guide Raeed - not just of the history of the places we visited but their spiritual importance too. He also knew some great spots for lunch and coffee which were so important to sustain us! It was great to meet Laila and Maria themselves in Bethlehem and experience their own powerful connection to the places we were visiting. Last but not least I should also mention that our drivers were expert and remained unflappable. I've travelled extensively for both work and pleasure and would rank my experience here as by far the best and one I shall always remember.

I had the privilege of experiencing Laila Tours on my pilgrimage with friends to the Holy Sites across Israel and Palestine last week.February 9th to 14th. Day 1 travelling from Jerusalem to Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee including Capernaum and Mount of Beatitudes Day 2 Jerusalem walking tour Day 3 Bethlehem and the Baptismal sites in the Jordan Valley Laila and Maria who run Laila Tours took care of every detail, arranging for us to be met on arrival at Ben Gurion Airport and transporting us to our hotel the Notre Dame de Jerusalem in Jerusalem itself. Our guide Riad who accompanied us for 3 days had an outstanding knowledge of the history and background of every place we went to and answered all our questions and actually became our friend. What a privilege to have him guide us and help immerse us in the magnitude of the experiences we had marvelling at the Holy Places we visited. We met Laila and Maria in Bethlehem and we were able to share our experiences with them directly. On our day of departure Friday 14th February Laila had organised our departure from Jerusalem back to Ben Gurion airport. Everything worked really well, timings were like clockwork and always willing to accommodate and be flexible. As someone who has travelled the world this was the best trip and experience I have ever had. If you are thinking of taking a tour of the Holy Places then honestly you won’t do better. Whether it’s a 2 people or 200 people trip Laila Tours has the skills experience and logistics to personalise your experience and give you the experience of a life time. It was an experience of a life time for me last week.

Laila and Maria from Laila Tours are very kind and generous. Their expertise in organising trips in and around the Holy Land is exceptional. All willing to offer support and to bring their experience and knowledge to the fore for pilgrims and tourists alike. The Tour Guides from their company are all officially accredited by the civil authorities and have a deep knowledge of their subject. This is also true of their language capabilities, as our guide spoke faultless English and was always happy to engage with us and offer us advice on matters, including nice cafes and restaurants to eat! The tours were always excellently planned and on time. The drivers along with the main guide were always courteous and generous with their time. Laila and Maria were always at the end of the phone, should there have been a problem. There was not and all went well the week we were there. The service, help and support we received from Laila Tours during our stay in the Holy Land last week was nothing short of exceptional. We were a party of five and stayed in Jerusalem for the 5 nights of our trip. Laila Tours organised for a driver and guide to accompany us on visits to the north (Nazareth, Cana, Capernaum, Sea of Galilee, and the Jordan Valley) and to Bethlehem and the river Jordan as well as guiding us around Jerusalem itself. Raed, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and we received some fantastic insights into the sites we visited and life in the Holy Land today.

We had a great experience on this tour from Amman to Jerusalem. Everything was very organized and smooth sailing. The border wait times were minimal - we were guided along the way. When we crossed the border, our driver Saleh and guide Raed picked us up. Raed pointed out all the important sites on the way to Jerusalem. He is very informative and knowledgeable about the Old City, its surroundings, and the religions within. We learned a lot from him! Our time in Jerusalem was very short and left us wanting more, but it was very fulfilling and surreal! We felt very safe. A plus was that there was no wait time for any of the sites, Highly recommend!

Toured Jerusalem/Bethlehem from Amman Jordan. Border crossings were quick and due to reduced tourism I was able to see all that I wanted to see in one day. Under normal conditions my tour would have taken three days!! Places that usually have a 4 hour wait we had all to ourselves!! BEST time to go to Jerusalem is now! Ahmad my driver and my guide Raed were so amazing, accommodating and efficient with my time. I could tell they cared about about making my brief trip special. Cannot say enough good!
