About
Wine is an integral part of Jewish and Israeli culture.
Half of Jacob's blessing to Judah was connected to wine:
כִּבֵּס בַּיַּיִן לְבֻשׁוֹ וּבְדַם־עֲנָבִים סוּתֹהן
In the days of King Solomon’s rule, there was peace:
"every man under his vine, and under his fig tree,."
Micha's vision for world peace reflects almost the same saying. Ancient Egyptian historians describe Canaan as the best place for wine. Roman historians describe the amazing quality of wine in the Land of Israel. The references go on and on.
A kosher wine tour can be a wonderful experience filled with history, laughter, and tasty delights.
I would like you to experience it in the best possible way.
Today there are hundreds of boutique wineries all over the country. Most of them have been awarded international prizes, and all of them have a unique story.

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Explorer5231560 contributionsGreat tour and guideWe are a non orthodox family from the Chicago land area and wanted to learn more about Hebron. We were a bit concerned about safety but once we met Eli we were put at ease and really glad we moved forward with it. I have 3 teenage kids and Eli was very informative and non judgmental in educating us on the region and city. The car was comfortable and Eli has some great stories both about his time in Israel and outside. The trip was a highlight in our trip to Israel and we recommend the place and Eli. We would use him again.Written January 29, 2020
- StuVC0 contributionsExcellent experience!Eli was amazing and I strongly recommended him. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his work and he went above and beyond (taking us to places beyond just the typical tourist spots) to make sure my family had a fun experience while learning about and feeling a connection to Israel. Excellent experience.Written January 29, 2020
- David H0 contributionsI Referred Friends from Colorado to Tour with JI Tours,Eli did an amazing job with my friends. They were on a Mediterranean cruse with a stop over at the port of Haifa. He picked them up at the port and took them on a road tour to Jerusalem through the Shomron. They had a great time. I will recommend him to my friends again in the future.Written January 26, 2020
- pilotajs0 contributionsExcellent tour guideEli is a fantastic tour guide that will take you to the important sites and explain their significance with ease..Written December 23, 2019
- Tour5848990 contributionsGreat full day tour of Jerusalem! We did a full day tour of Jerusalem as part of a work trip. The group comes from different backgrounds and had varying levels of knowledge about Jerusalem’s history and culture. Eli was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. He made us feel very comfortable asking any questions we had (no matter how basic we felt they were!). The itinerary was also very well planned, while leaving room to be flexible and adjust to the needs of the group. I learned a lot on the tour and genuinely enjoyed the experience. I recommend this tour company and Eli without reservation.Written December 11, 2019
