On this day trip, you’ll leave the city’s hustle and bustle in exchange for the extensive Roman ruins of Caesarea National Park. Leaving Tel Aviv mid-morning, the minivan will take you along the Mediterranean coastline for about an hour.
You’ll then arrive at the National park of Caesarea, that during the time of King Herod was one of the most significant Roman cities. Explore the houses and palaces, the hippodrome and the aqueduct, before enjoying the ancient port that is still featuring a few small trade and craft shops.
