Highlight of my week in Israel
Excellent. The honesty of the guides gave a real insight into the significance of Jerusalem to the 3 Abrahamic religions, and how the impact of the divisions on life now.

The trip was quite informative and interesting. We also appreciated that we visited a large number of sites. Our Palestinian tour guide was much more experienced and spoke better English than our Israeli guide, so it was not a fully balanced tour. We were fine with this since we already knew the Israeli side fairly well. Still, a more balanced tour would have been preferred.

The dual tour was almost 5 hours long and covered the main sites of Jerusalem. The two guides were nice and tried to explain their point of view, even though from the Israeli side we couldn’t get a thorough point of view.
The sites are visited quite fast, there is not really time to woo sera around

The guides were great and the information they presented was nothing short of awesome. Very open and fielded questions to there fullest. Alex and Norm were the right guides for this tour. I am still thinking about what they presented. Found out how much I really don't know. Love hearing their perspective as ones who live here. Thanks very much!

I would highly Recommend the dual narrative tool over any of the tour in Jerusalem. Emili and Amy did an incredible job of giving an honest Palestinian and Israeli perspective. They were willing to answer any, and all questions that you had and their knowledge is incredible. They were very friendly and welcoming, and I cannot speak highly enough of them and the tour, so much so that I have asked them to be guest speakers at an event.

Did this tour with my sister. We are Jewish Americans in late 50s/mid 60s. The tour was informative, interesting, and eye opening. The two guides, Emily and Amy, clearly did not agree about everything, but they demonstrated respect and understanding for each other’s view. The tour was historical and contemporary. Really great to learn about this spot in the world.

MY husband took this tour w our 8 year old daughter and it was exceptional. At first we were a little disappointed to learn we wouldn’t be going into some of the sites but soon realized it was WAY cooler getting the quick overview before going in yourself. It was completely shocking to learn the different perspectives and frankly left us as Americans feeling conflicted and as if we were never taught the entire story. Absolutely 100% MUST see with an open mind and heart. This was our first full day of the trip and it was a perfect start.

This tour is not your usual experience of the Old City. The dual narrative experience was very mind opening and thought provoking. Plus, the tour wandered through back streets and rooftops that no other tour I am aware of includes in their tours. I highly recommend this tour.

It was a great tour, a visit with a lot of information, told in a very simple way (even with drawings!), with many facts and curiosities. The hours go by in the blink of an eye. The guides are very professional, open to questions and very attentive at all times. It is a highly recommended tour and almost mandatory if you want to dig a little deeper into the history of Jerusalem.
The attention of the agency 10/10!

My father and I did the old city Jerusalem dual narrative tour, which was lovely, but where MEJDI really excelled was in private dual and single narrative tours. I can't recommend them highly enough for that! They were so thoughtful about each day and place we saw and people we met. The coordinator was excellent at understanding what we wanted and helping us to make it happen. Their guides were flexible when we changed our minds about things and extremely prepared for each location. They answered our basic questions and our complex questions with equal enthusiasm. I got to meet 7 of their tour guides and each was uniquely informative and insightful (3 Palestinians, 4 Israelis). We wanted a deeper understanding of the region, and we got that and so much more! Everyone was so generous with sharing their personal stories, their time, and their historical/present day political knowledge. We had high expectations and they far exceeded all of them. Also, even though my father and I have different political perspectives, somehow each tour was perfect for us both! That says a lot about MEJDI and their guides. I hope everyone can benefit from their good work!

This was an amazing experience. The two guides were fantastic presenting two different perspectives in a region with a very complicated and complex history. We visited with a rabbi, Palestinian Christians, parents from the Parent's Circle, woman working together to help educate other women and had dinner in a Palestinian home complete with musicians playing for us after the meal. Seeing the tourist sights of Jerusalem was great, but the connections to people were the best, they helped get across the complexity, the tension, the angst of the people that live in this region. If you visit Israel, the dual narrative is the best way to learn about the country and its people.
