We had a great time and enjoyed every part of this Tour. It’s three long days of traveling and exploring the highlights of Jordan landmarks. Our group was medium size (22 persons) it was in English and had people from all around. We visited Jerash (details on Jerash separate review)an ancient Roman city were you can see all key features of the Roman Empire including an amphitheater. We drove through Amman, only stopped at a dessert location were we were treated with a delicious local pastry and continued to the Bedouin camp near Petra, had dinner and enjoyed time with the group at a communal tent with plenty of plugs to charge devices,WiFi and plenty of hot tea.The camp provides individual tent areas and shared bathroom facilities at the center. Hot water available and hair dryer. Tents are very simple, bed with 5 thick covers and a small night table (no heater).
Second day, early start to depart for full day at Petra (details on Petra on separate review) We visited this magnificent area half time with our tour guide and half time free. Tour guide provided excellent information and tips for the highlights of the walk. It is a lot of walking... but it is worth. You can walk all the way to the Monastery on the free time or you can walk as much as you can. Spare some time to see the Petra Museum. At 5 pm back to the camp dinner and rest. Day three also early start, drive to Wadi Rum for Jeep desert adventure, we had a nice drive into sand dunes and stops to admire the view and history of ancient travelers. We ended the desert part with lunch and last stop before starting the return to Jerusalem.
All was well coordinated, tour guide excelled in professionalism he was very well informed and knowledgeable. He managed the group very good, clear information was provided for each event.Everything was included in the price, except drinks during all meals and border crossing fees. As there were long traveling periods there were always scheduled rest stops included in the route. As it’s low season all locations visited were not crowded on the other side we got some light rain in Jerash and it was always chilly, wear the layers.... at night it was cold. Border crossing was done in an orderly and quick manner, no crowds no long lines. If you have the time to take this tour, take it. It’s a good value for money and time. Highly recommended.

This was an excellent 3-day tour of Jerash, Petra, and Wadi Rum. The border crossings were smooth and the drivers/guides gave clear instructions for every step of the way. Mahdi was the perfect tour guide, providing cultural background information on Jordan and ample historical information on the sites we visited, while providing a fun atmosphere and facilitating cohesion amongst the tour group members. We had a great time getting to know each other throughout the trip. Mahdi was open to any questions we had (social/political/cultural/historical) about Jordan and we learned a lot outside the scope of the planned itinerary.

Thank you Mahdi and Abraham Tours for a great trip!

We booked 3 Day Petra/Wadi Rum Tour through Abraham Tours and had a great experience. The sites are well worth seeing and Abraham Tours is a great way to go. Each site had a guided tour and then free time to explore on your own. The camp was also a great experience, although weather may be a factor for some. We stayed at the Abraham Hostel in Jerusalem after our tour and had a good experience with them as well. Both the hostel and the tour agent were quick to answer any email questions we had prior to our trip and were also very helpful during our stay. Highly recommended!

The tour in Jordan was very good, even if you must expect a lot of time driving. The problem was the organization from Abraham tours on the way back, where we’ve waited for hours on the bus, waiting for other group. Nobody from Abraham tours was joignable and the driver said he had orders to wait for everybody. While that when you book they say never more than a hour waiting. If a problem people would come by taxi.

We are happy that you enjoyed the tour in Petra with us and are sorry for the inconvenience that was caused at the border. Unfortunately, dealing with multiple authorities at the border crossings presents significant challenges, which can oftentimes lead to delays. We are subject to the regulations and priorities of two different countries' border control authorities . Each of them works differently and has their own culture, rules and demands. Following two years of covid, Allenby border has recently re-opened for tourists and tours resulting in confusion, lack of experienced manpower and delays. Our job is to make sure that everyone gets in the car back to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, and we do everything possible not to leave people behind to manage independently. We believe that each of you would want the vehicle to wait for him in case they were delayed, and would not want to be separated from the group. Abraham Tours staff

Everything is very well organized and as a tourist you are perfectly been taken care of. You will see a lot of historical locations. The food offered has very good quality and seem to be all local. The guide is very familiar with all historical details and was always making good jokes. The tent site was very nice and offered clean toilets and warm showers.
May be bit too many places to stop and look into local shops. The 3rd day is a lot of bus riding. If you do not like that think about the 2days tour and skip Wadi Rum. You might wonna go there with a separat trip.

The most unique memory is of the Bedouin camp. Don't forget to take pictures of the tents, and the communal room where 'campers' enjoyed hot, sweet tea, and relaxed commraderie while reading or playing cards. This tour had one full day in Petra (not 1-1/2, like others) and that is perfect. (It takes a long time to walk into Petra from the parking lot and you don't want to do it twice.) The guide was excellent and the meals were perfect for us. We avoided buying water by bringing a few extra bottles with us from Israel. You don't need to change money into dinars for the exit fees from Jordan; this was explained to us by Abraham Tours before we began, so handling money was very simple. We used US$ for everything.

Our 3 days were amazing, everything was great and I learned so much. Our guide and driver were both wonderful and helped us throughout the trip. Jerash is a wonderful place and so underrated that it was practically empty and after our tour we had time to explore. Petra is every bit as incredible as you'd imagine and I definitely want to go back. Wadi Rum is beautiful and a really fun way to end the trip. The camp we stayed in was a great experience, it was rather cold one of the nights as it was mid winter but with blankets we were fine. The bedouins are so welcoming and friendly and it is a great place to stay. Crossing the border was an experience both ways but we all made it through. Follow the instructions given and you'll have no problems. Will definitely use Abraham Tours for any future trips nearby.

the tour was super organized from start to finish. We always felt perfectly looked after and everything went smoothly. Special thanks go to Mahdi. He was open to all questions and made the whole trip something special. He gave us a lot of information about the country and the culture and answered every kind of question in detail. For us it was the perfect mix of free time and guided tour. Mahdi, thank you very much!

We HIGHLY recommend the Tour and Mahdi!

It was worth it for the day in Petra. The other days were fillers and the sites either visited so quickly they were unenjoyable or they were shops they wanted you to buy from. The Bedouin camp was hospitable and people friendly. The bus was late picking us up to return back.
