Our guide was great, very knowledgeable with a touch of humour. Wonderful to see Ein Gedi and Masada. Kalia beach unfortunately not the best place to visit the dead sea, but if you're short of time then I guess this would suit. My main suggestion would be that they include entrance fees in the initial price so that on the day there is less hassle over everyone finding the correct change to give to the guide. Other than that a very well run tour!

Masada is amazing, both for its sad history and its outstanding views of the Dead Sea. The springs and waterfalls of Ein Gedi are beautiful. This is also where David and his men were hiding as King Saul was hunting him to kill him. I Samuel 24. Floating in the Dead Sea is unforgettable. Our guide, Merona, was terrific - humorous, friendly, and informative.

This is a great tour for the sights, but the organisation could be a lot better. You will not regret your visit to these areas but it can be a little bit chaotic at times. The groups are also quite large. The Dead Sea is only a small portion of this tour so if it’s your main destination I would recommend a different tour. This tour is great for Masada and Ein Gedi in particular.

DON'T GO with this tour agency!!! The trip had a very poor organisation! Let me provide more info on this.
1) the bust has started from Tel-Aviv 20 min later.
2) instead of starting in Jerusalem at 7:45 we started at 9:00. Note that all the participants were on time, already at 7.35 was everyone there.
3) at 9.00 we started from Jerusalem but on the bus we had people that the bus had to take to mount of olives (Jersulaem). Neither the driver nor the guide new the way, they made a mistake on a crossroad so we had to return with the bus again, we lost too much time!!!! Finally at 9.15 we started from Jerusalem towards Masada. Note that at 9.30 we had to be in Masada but it was already 9.15 and we just started.
4) In Masada we arrived at 10.45, we were told we need to buy round ticket for the cabin and we are not allowed to walk down the snake trail. Anyways, in Masada due to bad time planing of the guide we were one hour later than planned and actually we could also manage to walk down the snake trail.
5) then we took off to Ein Gedi, when we arrived the guy told us we have only 30 mins to visit this unique place!!!! and he also informed us that we are not allowed to walk up to the David waterfall but only to the first waterfall, which is 5 min walking.
6) then we went to the Dead Sea to a private beach and we spend some time (that was ok).

Overall, I highly dont recommend. You will wait for the bus, you will be in hurry, you will not receive applogize, you will spend a day wondering how this could happen. Everyone on the bus was angry and complaining. But the guide did not acccept our complains neither he applogised. Very bad experience. Dont go with this agency!

We were really looking forward to the trip and feel very let down for a number of reasons.

1. We were told to arrive promptly as the tour always left on time. We left an hour late because the tour operator was collecting payment from people for the attractions.
2. We made a pointless stop just 20 minutes into the trip to allow travellers to have a coffee and breakfast. The stop was just 20 minutes and barely allowed a coach full of tourists any time to do anything meaningful. It was clearly an attempt to maximise income for a partner.
3. On the way to Masada the coach mysteriously lost a wing mirror and we spent another 20 minutes patrolling along the coast road looking for it.
4. At Masada, the organisation by our tour guide was shambolic. He clearly had no idea how to manage a group, had no clue how many people were in his group and took way longer than necessary to do things. The actual tour was dreadful, the guide repeated himself needlessly and spent ages at sites explaining things that the introductory video had already covered in detail. We saw less than half of the site because of his appalling organisation and he ignored repeated pleads from numerous travellers to get a move on as people were concerned we would have no time at En Gedi and the Dead Sea.
3. En Gedi - we had less than 30 minutes due to the previous appalling time keeping. It looked like it could have been really interesting but we will never know.it was closing as we arrived.
4. Kalia Beach, Dead Sea. Same problems as above. We had just an hour to enjoy a swim and entrance took 15 minutes. No chance to enjoy a drink or food or look in the shops.

Overall, hugely disappointing. Thankfully we had a much more positive experience with the company in Jerusalem so can only assume this was a guide issue.

We went on this tour as a couple and even though it was stated in the description, that the entrance fees were not included it felt a bit scammy when our tour guide asked us to pay 120 Schekel/Person for the three entrance fees that should be only around 85 Schekel in total. I don’t understand why you offer a tour without including the entrance fees, just ask for a higher price but all inclusive. No one books a tour to Masada if not for the purpose of entering Masada too, right? Except that the tour guide was funny and helpful though :)

What basically happened with this company is:
1. The trip was delayed with one hour without any explanation (thats fine, we understand, things happen);
2. At Masada, the guide with the bus left in a hurry with part of our luggage and left 8 people from 2 groups and 2 countries, with 2 children. The bus even took part of our luggage. So there we were - in the middle of the desert, with children, at sunset. And that's beyond any comprehension. All other Israeli guides at Masada, who saw what has happened, were in shock. They couldn't believe their eyes!
3. When we called the guide, he was ignorant and refused any help. So we had to find our own transport in Masada to get back.
4. Upon return, we contacted the company - Tourist Israel, but they stopped replying to our emails.
The other people will be also publishing their experience from this company, so stay tuned for more news about the most horrible trip we have ever experienced in our lives.

Dear Lilia, We are sorry to hear you had such an experience on your Masada, Ein Gedi, and the Dead Sea tour. It saddens us that our team's commitment to providing our travelers with the finest possible experience was not reflected. We understood from our guide that he waited for you at the meeting point with all the other passengers as advised, he tried to contact you, however, he was unable to reach you. We have taken this incident very seriously there's an ongoing investigation, and also we have taken decisions in order to avoid something like this from happening again. Our deepest hope you accept our amendments described in our last email and that we will see you again to make your next experience with us a better one. All the best.

The trip was worthwhile overall. Our guide “Merona” was very good. Three things needed improvement;
1) There were three buses departing for various locations at the Citadel David hotel. The buses had no markings and it was very difficult to know which bus to get on.
2) The seal was broken on the window by our seats. The window was completely fogged up and we could not see out of our window. We missed much of the scenery.
3) The speaker did not work on the bus for the first third of the trip. We could not hear many of the important announcements.

Really mediocre. The trip left late, returned late, and left multiple people behind at our final destination. The guide was scatterbrained and not particularly organizationally capable. On top of that, we barely got any time at Masada or the Dead Sea.

They skipped Ein Gedi entirely and took the long way to Masada, so we wound up spending twice as much time in transit as we did at the sites.

It was just…mediocre. Really resoundingly mediocre. I was thoroughly unimpressed. Give another tour a try.

We had this tour, 10-2-23, for Masada din gedi and the Dead Sea, the tour started on time and the driver Sammy was a really cool and funny guy he started the day by explaining a bit of history.
Then we met Manny our tour guide of the day that he was really good , on time and we basically see everything. He was really available and nice to every one! A really good job to both of you :)
