Excellent, safe, and fun tour of Galilee
Max did great as a guide and our driver was safe/professional. The guide, Max was sensitive to my wife's disabilities. Max was multilingual too, knowing both Spanish and Russian, as do I. This was helpful, as I didn't need to translate to Spanish for my wife. He could speak directly with her. The tour was great also because I preferred to relax and let someone else drive for a day. We felt safe and cared for as well, given the current conflict situation. The tour was timely, fun, and educational. It was a pleasure to experience what Israel's northern Galilee region had to offer. We came to Israel to volunteer, as well as for sightseeing. We came to stand with Israel in this difficult time, and felt safe and fulfilled in doing so.

High Energy Fun. Amazing Guide. Highly Recommend!
ATV Desert Buggies in the Negev was amazing! The machines were fabulous and our guide - Daniel - was amazing. We had SO much fun. We went for 2 hours, but next time we will take a longer trek. He took us on an amazing ride around the crater - served the best homemade cold tea ever and explained how the crater was formed with greater clarity than I've ever heard. Was absolutely very high energy and fun - but completely safe. Kids had an amazing time! We will absolutely be back and highly recommend!

Our guide was great and the sites were spectacular. He gave us a wonderful historical perspective and told us several interesting stories relevant to the sites we saw. The driver was also excellent.

Transfer from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem
Taxi ride was a good guy, but he accidentally deleted my pick up so he was an hour plus late. I had to call him to find out where he was. He got there within the half hour after I made the phone call, which was great. He said that a pick up was canceled, but he deleted the wrong one accidentally. We all make mistakes.

Know the difference between a "tour" and a "transfer"
Seeing that this is a touring company, I booked what I thought was a private tour to the south with a professional guide. However, they called it a "transfer" and simply provided me with a regular taxi driver at double the price of the open market. Be warned to read the small print and distinguish the difference between a "tour" and a "transfer". To their credit, the service/corresponce with the company was good and the taxi was clean and comfortable with a friendly and safe driver.

      Do Not Use Them!
5 days before our trip we have a pc to firm up details & pricing for multiple tours. 2 days later the invoice comes, looks nothing like our discussion & is for $2K LESS than agreed upon. A tour company couldn’t sort (for example) 4 afternoons at $500 per for just 2 people? Their excuse was “the war, people aren’t coming”. My hotel was full of tourists & we met tourists everywhere we went- on our own, in a country where we didn’t speak or read the language. We did use TI for a 3 day Petra tour, which was lovely, but the preparatory comms were abysmal: delayed, unclear, spotty at best. Informed we needed to file docs for entry to Jordan in advance that was only sent to us the night before leaving! After spending 2 frustrating hours online, discovered it was completely unnecessary. Because it was after hours, we called the emergency number provided, to try to get clarification, but no one answered. Find a different tour operator; this one is unreliable & unresponsive.

This company will take your money and run
They took an $800 deposit last September 2023 and we were supposed to go this June 2024. They ignored a request for refund since January of 2024 and stopped communication. They are not to be trusted as a true tour company. They possibly do day trips but are not a real company. We will continue to attempt a refund but it looks bleak and they are probably not financially not sound. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY

      The best guide ever
We went for a one-day trip to Masada, Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea with Omer Geva as a guide. Omer is absolutely fantastic person with great sense pf humour and a very professional guide who knows every detail about Israel's history and nature. We can strongly recommmend the trip to everyone who wants to explore Israel. Iga & Gosia

      Footsteps of Jesus in Galilee
This was the first day trip back to Galilee from Jerusalem for our guide Omer Geva. Picked up on time, then added more guests in Tel Aviv, then on to our first stop Nazareth, Jesus' birthplace, followed by his first miracle site the wedding feast at Kana. We had a great stop in Capernaum then we stopped by the Mount of the Beatitudes where Jesus multiplied the bread and fish. The day finished with a stop at the Jordan River where it is said Jesus might have been baptized. Omer's passion for the sense of place and for the Biblical story was evident all day and he bent over backwards to meet everyone's needs. I would describe him as a natural teacher and a guide who could 'read the room' perfectly. Thank you so much.

Bridging Israel one Step at a Time
Masada,Ein Gedi, and The Dead Sea in one was healing, spiritual, educative, and refreshing. Tourist Israel along with our energetic and optimistic guide Merona brought me to the real experience. No BS with the ticket prices as you pay it yourself at the counter, and tips in buying cheaper quality items. All in all, Israel makes you wanna come back for more.

We were booked a trip to Masada from Jerusalem for 59$ plus €27(entrance fees plus cable car fee). Early morning we met by the meeting point and we went by bus to Masada. The trip was short there and our tour guide Eli showered us with historical informations. Masada is well worth to visit. You can learn a lot about Roman building style and from Heroes.

In El Gadi we saw some waterfalls. They are easily reachable by walk.

Dead sea was stunning despite of the relatively cold weather 13.5 Celsius.
I was able to get a dip and flote in it. I was freezed.....

Late afternoon around 17.30 we went back to Jerusalem.
Orverally it was a good trip.

Actually you can buy a bus ticket from Jerusalem Central Station to Masada and walk up-down on the hills by yourself. It will be cheaper but you won't have historical information from a guide. It can be beautiful too if you wish to spend more time there.

Please do not litter and preserve the national environment as much as possible.

Hi aniko o, thank you for your review. We are very glad that you enjoyed learning about Masada and visiting Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea. As you said, a public bus is available to get to Masada on your own but it does not include a guide, and joining our tour also includes the other sites, which are hard to get around to on your own without a car. The public bus system to that area of the country also does not run very often. We try to provide an experience that will show you the best sites if you only have one day. We hope to see you again!

Eli Wolicki was an excellent tour guide who made the experience fun with his jokes and wealth of information. We lucked out with beautiful weather, and a great group of people on the tour. It would have been great to have the entrance fees all included in the upfront charge, as well as more details about which waters shoes are best for the day (flip-flops are not recommended), since I had to buy water shoes on the trip. Overall, though, a great day.

Hi WanderWideWorld, we are so glad you enjoyed your tour. We do state on the website that entrance fees are not included and provide information about exactly how much cash to bring with you for this purpose. We will pass on the feedback about including the type of water shoes to bring. We're glad the weather was great and that Eli gave you a fun and informative tour!

I was a little worried because some of the previous reviews, so much so that I almost cancelled after ordering... Glad I didn't! Eli was a great guide with a lot of good information, stories, and some Dad jokes.

Because of the short time with multiple attractions, Masada, especially, seemed rushed, with little time to see anything that wasn't in the plan. That is a two-edged sword, as most people want to spend the bulk of the time at the Dead Sea.

Do be aware you have to pay for the attractions separately, in cash, so make sure you have it. Even with that, the Tour Israel is still the most inexpensive I could find, and well worth the money.

DON'T GO with this tour agency!!! The trip had a very poor organisation! Let me provide more info on this.
    1) the bust has started from Tel-Aviv 20 min later.
    2) instead of starting in Jerusalem at 7:45 we started at 9:00. Note that all the participants were on time, already at 7.35 was everyone there.
    3) at 9.00 we started from Jerusalem but on the bus we had people that the bus had to take to mount of olives (Jersulaem). Neither the driver nor the guide new the way, they made a mistake on a crossroad so we had to return with the bus again, we lost too much time!!!! Finally at 9.15 we started from Jerusalem towards Masada. Note that at 9.30 we had to be in Masada but it was already 9.15 and we just started.
    4) In Masada we arrived at 10.45, we were told we need to buy round ticket for the cabin and we are not allowed to walk down the snake trail. Anyways, in Masada due to bad time planing of the guide we were one hour later than planned and actually we could also manage to walk down the snake trail.
    5) then we took off to Ein Gedi, when we arrived the guy told us we have only 30 mins to visit this unique place!!!! and he also informed us that we are not allowed to walk up to the David waterfall but only to the first waterfall, which is 5 min walking.
    6) then we went to the Dead Sea to a private beach and we spend some time (that was ok).

Overall, I highly dont recommend. You will wait for the bus, you will be in hurry, you will not receive applogize, you will spend a day wondering how this could happen. Everyone on the bus was angry and complaining. But the guide did not acccept our complains neither he applogised. Very bad experience. Dont go with this agency!

We were really looking forward to the trip and feel very let down for a number of reasons.

    1. We were told to arrive promptly as the tour always left on time. We left an hour late because the tour operator was collecting payment from people for the attractions.
    2. We made a pointless stop just 20 minutes into the trip to allow travellers to have a coffee and breakfast. The stop was just 20 minutes and barely allowed a coach full of tourists any time to do anything meaningful. It was clearly an attempt to maximise income for a partner.
    3. On the way to Masada the coach mysteriously lost a wing mirror and we spent another 20 minutes patrolling along the coast road looking for it.
    4. At Masada, the organisation by our tour guide was shambolic. He clearly had no idea how to manage a group, had no clue how many people were in his group and took way longer than necessary to do things. The actual tour was dreadful, the guide repeated himself needlessly and spent ages at sites explaining things that the introductory video had already covered in detail. We saw less than half of the site because of his appalling organisation and he ignored repeated pleads from numerous travellers to get a move on as people were concerned we would have no time at En Gedi and the Dead Sea.
    3. En Gedi - we had less than 30 minutes due to the previous appalling time keeping. It looked like it could have been really interesting but we will never know.it was closing as we arrived.
    4. Kalia Beach, Dead Sea. Same problems as above. We had just an hour to enjoy a swim and entrance took 15 minutes. No chance to enjoy a drink or food or look in the shops.

Overall, hugely disappointing. Thankfully we had a much more positive experience with the company in Jerusalem so can only assume this was a guide issue.

Our tour guide Allan was super. He was knowledgeable on the history of the area, has a great sense of humor, and kept the group well organized and on time. There's quite a bit of walking and hiking on this tour. It was enjoyable in late February, but I would not recommend it in the hot months, particularly the walks around Masada may be extremely hot and exposed. All three locations were very interesting and memorable. I would do this tour again.

Unfortunately, this tour did not meet our expectations at all. The cost of the tour ONLY covers the cost of transport/guide. ALL entry fees need to be paid separately, adding an extra 35 USD per person to the trip, not to mention the waste of time as everyone on the tour (there were 50 people on ours) has to buy their ticket at each of the attractions. A 45-minute delay due to poor management (checking and rechecking the list of participants) at the start of the day set the stage for the rest of the trip with the guide having no control over the group or the timing. The information provided was minimal and repetitive. We found the guide to be rather obnoxious and borderline rude. All in all, it was not the experience we hoped for, so cannot recommend this to future travelers.

Had a wonderful experience doing this excursion. My friend and I were visiting Jerusalem and throughly enjoyed the very knowledgeable tour guide we had. She was AMAZING! Gathered the flock, making sure no one was left behind. Masada, Ein Gedi, and the Dead Sea tours where certainly one for the books. We enjoyed every bit of this wonderful tour. The bus was very punctual, we met at 7:45am and departed relatively closely to that time. Every site we visited was very well timed. We had sufficient time to see as much as we could, take pictures, eat, rest and do a bit of shopping. I would certainly book through this company again, if I visit Israel again.

This was one of the worst tour expenses I’ve had. Bus arrived 45 min late for pickup while the guide continued to say it would be there in 5 min continually. Very frustrating considering the tour instructions said the bus would leave without you if you weren’t there.

On the bus the guide did not know how to mute the mic. Had to hear static and her small talk the whole time. She also pointed out every sheep, goat, and camel on the way but usually after we already passed anyway.

Masada was very cool but guide was more focused on keeping the group together than just saying the information, felt like she was just wasting time on an already rushed day. Skipped the walk down to the main palace, not sure why. Overall very rushed and very limited time to see anything, no free time at all except two 15 min periods for bathroom at base.

Ein gedy was a joke. Arrived. Paid entry fee. Walked up to first waterfall (5 min of walking), guide spent most of that time stopped to describe 3 different plants. Then we returned back to the bus all within 25 min. Extremely disappointed not to walk through the upper parts at all. You will only see the first waterfall and 3 trees.

Despite being rushed through the other locations. We arrived at the Dead Sea 30 min before it was scheduled. It was Kalia beach so you can look at it before you go. This was the best part of the trip. Not sure if it was because of being able to relax in the sun and swim for about 2.5 hours of free time or because the tour guide and I had parted ways.

The entry prices for the 3 locations are not included in the price which was known beforehand. To have to pay an entry fee and leave within 15 min was ridiculous at Ein Gedy. I felt robbed as a result of this touring company.

This tour was atrocious and not worth half the price. Rent a car instead. I’m sure the price would be similar to this overpriced garbage called a tour. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

We went on this tour as a couple and even though it was stated in the description, that the entrance fees were not included it felt a bit scammy when our tour guide asked us to pay 120 Schekel/Person for the three entrance fees that should be only around 85 Schekel in total. I don’t understand why you offer a tour without including the entrance fees, just ask for a higher price but all inclusive. No one books a tour to Masada if not for the purpose of entering Masada too, right? Except that the tour guide was funny and helpful though :)
