    Istanbul in a day
We did the Iconic Istanbul tour. Our guide, Berivan, was exceptionally pleasant and knowledgeable. In one day we hit nearly a dozen sites— and with each she had stories and history to share. Our guide knew the best vistas to view the city and helped us navigate the complexities of Istanbul. Certain sites—like the underground cisterns—we would have entirely missed without her. Most importantly, by the end of the day, we felt as though we had made a new friend. We highly recommend this tour company and guide.

Travelling through time by eating delicious food
I booked this tour with my friends to travel Istanbul of the beaten track and it was just what we were looking for. We delved in the delicious cuisines of all the different cultures in Fatih. Everything was tasty and our guide Yumna was just amazing. She’s originally from Syria and her knowledge about the cultures and food was unlimited so was her passion for the food she was talking about. A true foodie! Just like us:) So being able to travel through time with her by eating food and learning about all the different cultures in Fatih was simply a gift. Thank you Yumna for your kindness and the delicious tour we had. We even scored some delicious souvenirs to take home based on Yumna’s recommendation:)

Amazing food, colorful history and an incredible guide
This tour was filled was incredible Levantine food, insightful stories and a humanizing touch by the guide, Yumna. I left feeling closer to the region that I had grown up hearing so many negative things about. If you are looking to truly expand your world view, this is the tour you want to take.

A connoisseur guide into the authenticity of Turkish foods and drinks
Istanbul is the food capital of the Middle East, if not the world. But it isn’t necessarily straightforward to explore the food landscapes of this mega-city. If you merely wander through the streets you might get bored by nearly identical kebab shops, especially in touristic areas. It takes a connoisseur, with a developed taste for food, drinks, and authenticity to take the lead. I found the Vine & Peral tour a very pleasant experience. I am sure they can equally satisfy both the wine-enthusiasts, as well as the “foodie tourist” by guiding them into hidden gems of this city.

    A wonderful day
The Vines and Pearls food tour we took was a journey through Istanbul in a totally unique way than I had ever experienced the city. Even knowing the dishes from previous visits had introduced them to me with a context I never had. We felt completely taken care of the entire way through.

Great discovery tour if you're into wine
That was a fantastic wine trip. We met very passionate wine makers at Gubuz and Nuzun, tried very interesting wines from them. And discovered something new - at Gubuz we did comparative tasting of same wine aged in different barrels (American vs French vs Hungarian). That was very exciting and educational. The only let down was Arcadia Vineyard as the staff there were almost unhappy to present thier wines. But the restaurant there was good. Aysenur is a fantastic guide so she helped to manage it the best way possible.

Wonderful Day of Learning about Turkish Wine
Had a wonderful full day of wine tasting in the countryside of Thrace. Met some wonderfully passionate wine producers and tried some extraordinary wines. We love trying wine in new places and Turkiya did not disappoint. Goda was a wonderful guide and host. I would definitely recommend this if you enjoy wine.

    You won't be disappointed!
We had a fantastic evening - very friendly, knowledgeable and informative guide who accommodated our various dietary requirements with ease. We tried loads of food in places we probably wouldn't normally have ventured into and learned loads about Istanbul, Turkish people and food. The wines we tasted were delicious and everyone had a great time.

Friendly guide and tasty street food
Really friendly and engaging guide who gave us a whistle stop tour of the sights and some amazing street food stops. Would have been great to have a bit more variety in the food though.

    Time to try Turkish Wine
Turkish wine was an unknown for us and we valued our experts guidance and we tried wines made from some unique grapes. While Turkish wines aren’t limited to local varietals we decided to focus on those during our tasting. Fortunately, the wines we tried were very good and made by artisans, often women.

    Personalised wine tasting and spices
Goda from Vines and Pearls was so helpful in creating a personalised tour for me when could not decide which tour I wanted to book for a weekend in Istanbul with my husband. We wanted to see some of the Old City but also experience some wine tastings in our limited time. Goda created the perfect tour for us. Our guide Suzan was knowledgeable about the history of Istanbul and Turkish wines. We enjoyed our wine tastings and learning about Turkish wines and sampling Turkish food. We also visited a beautiful mosque. We ended at the Spice Bazaar where we were able to sample and buy Turkish delights and some spices to take home. Overall, we had a great experience and I highly recommend Vines and Pearls tours.

Fantastic Winery Tour with Goda from Vines and Pearls!
Goda of Vines and Pearls is a most excellent tour guide. Always attentive to our preferences, needs, and extremely knowledgeable about Turkish history and winemaking, Goda and her driver made our tour memorable, relaxing, and very satisfying. Goda selected a variety of high-quality vineyards and winemaking experiences for us that enhanced our knowledge of winemaking, wine varieties, and tasting experiences. A bonus opportunity included a night's stay at a beautiful winery complete with dinner, breakfast, and delicious wines. Goda's good humor, friendliness, and empathetic nature provided a welcome personal touch to the tour experience. We highly recommend Goda's Wineries Tour from Istanbul along with any opportunity to become familiar with Goda and her business.

I gifted this tour to my mother for her birthday - she had been to Istanbul a lot of times, so was looking for something new and unique. The experience was definitely worth the walk in the rain and was filled with interesting facts that no typical tourist would ever find out alone! Our guide Bengi was very warm and welcoming and spoke amazing Italian. Can definitely recommend this tour if you like hidden gems and unexpected findings of art Deco. Was overall a wonderful way of celebrating a birthday (with the cherry on the cake being the glasses of champagne at the beautiful lounge areas of Pera Palace).

As a family of lifelong Agatha Christie fans we were thrilled to discover this tour and learn more about her time in Istanbul, visit the grand hotel she stayed in, and of course sample local wines - which were a delightful surprise. Our guide was a fabulous storyteller, patient with our endless questions and gave us a lot of time at each stop. Don’t miss out on this tour. You’ll definitely feel like you’re walking in Agatha’s footsteps!

We took this tour on the 3rd day of our visit to Istanbul, after taking a day to see the museums and other famous must-see-spots and I must say, it felt like we're seeing a completely different Istanbul. Our guide Elvan took us through tiny streets that had so mush character and had so much patients with us when we had to pause every few steps to take the pictures and observe everything we were seeing. The stories we heard made the experience super fun and put many things into perspective as we walked our way. Highly recommend!

As soon as I found this tour, I knew I had to take it. I'm a huge Agatha Christie fan and it was so cool to follow her footsteps here! My guide was great and had so much knowledge about all the places we toured. I really loved especially stopping at the train station and hearing about the Orient Express. My favorite part though was ending the tour with tea at the Pera Palace hotel!

Definitely recommended for Christie lovers!

What an interesting tour! Had no idea Turkey and Istanbul were such an inspiration to Agatha Christie. I received this tour as a gift from my friends and we had so much fun visiting the Art Deco cafes, walking through the Galata neighbourhood and my favorite part, enjoying a wine tasting ❤️ It’s been years since I read Murder on Orient Express but I downloaded to my kindle to re-read parts of it after this tour.

It was nice to see a less traditional part of Istanbul and learn about the city's connection to Agatha Christie! My guide was very cheerful and entertaining - I would definitely recommend especially if you're wanting to explore the city and want a new experience.

My husband and I have visited Istanbul multiple times. Agatha Christie tour was a gift from our daughter Claire. This was a lovely time spent with Elvan. We haven't seen this side of the city before and were happy to learn about Turkey's Republic and see all that beautiful architecture!

The tour surpassed all our expectations. It has brought us back to the world of luxury, elegance, exclusive dwellings with refined and decorative exteriors and interiors. The route as well as the sites we have visited are very well selected. Besides the architecture, facts from the biographies of famous people we have also got a very good background of the interwar Turkey. Many thanks to our guide Ahmet for his job: he is good story teller, attentive to tourists’ questions and his dignified manner of presenting the material is so compatible with the times he is telling about.
And of course it’s worth mentioning the drinks and treats during the tour. Very delicious and refreshing.
We highly recommend trying this experience. You’ll really have enjoyable time and long-lasting memories.

I had such an amazing time on this tour with Vines and Pearls. If you love history, wine, and architecture it’s definitely the tour for you! Every detail was perfectly thought through, and our guide was super knowledgeable and engaging. I loved being able to see a unique side of Istanbul’s history and architecture, and especially loved the beautiful Pera Palace. My favorite part though was the wine tasting! The old Greek winery we went to exuded charm, and it was so interesting to be able to taste and learn about Turkish native grape varieties. I would highly recommend the Art Deco and Prosecco tour, and will definitely do another tour with Vines and Pearls the next time I’m in Istanbul!
