- billhR6567IK0 contributionsA brief but wonderful visit to IstanbulMy husband and I were only in Istanbul for a few days so we opted for a one day private tour with our delightful guide, Çiçek Hekimgil. We were extremely impressed with the depth of her knowledge which made for a fascinating experience. Çiçek’s love for the city and Turkey was obvious, the tour was not only informative but also fun, from Mosques to the Grand Bazaar! She took us to a wonderful restaurant where we had a panoramic view, delicious food, and engaging conversation about her family and life in Turkey. We highly recommend a tour with Çiçek, it’s a wonderful way to get the flavor of Istanbul and learn about its rich history.Written September 7, 2024

- erenak120 contributionsWonderful tour in Old town IstanbulWe had a wonderful time walking around old town with Tunc. We felt super safe, well taken care of and very well informed! Thank you Tunc for a wonderful day and tour. As a native of Istanbul, I came with my partner and learned a bunch of new things I had never learned before.Written August 22, 2024
- 697surabhis0 contributionsA day trip to Istanbul CityWe took the Istanbul one day private guided tour and had an amazing experience! Our guide was Kareem and I couldn’t rave enough about him. He was very informative, patient, and friendly. We were traveling with small kids and he was very considerate about it, helped us with the stroller and played with our kids to let us eat in peace. We visited all the key spots during the tour and Kareem gave valuable information about the history, topography and geology of the Istanbul’s evolution to its present stage. He also took us to a nearby restaurant which was AMAZING that we would have not able to find it ourselves. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about this beautiful historical city in your pace.Written August 14, 2024
- Pascale C0 contributionsReally super nice, just pleasant from A to Z!We gad 2 great days discovering Istanbul thanks to our fantastic guide Tunç! Pleasant, flexible, humble, cool, very knowledgeable of the history, happy to answer our multiple questions, he gave us great insights about de turkish culture, history and more. Truly one of the very best guides we have ever had in our many trips around the world. We highly recommend Tunç! Thank you for the great time together 🙏.Written August 13, 2024
- X4967GFangelak0 contributionsExcellent way to see everything in a single day - perfect for travellers on a tight time schedule! We had an excellent tour, fitting a LOT of amazing sights into a single day that we definitely wouldn't have been able to arrange for ourselves. Great value for money, especially for any travellers with a really tight time schedule in Turkey!! The early morning airport transfer driver was on time, making our flight to Pamukkale smooth and hassle-free. Our guide, Furkan, and our driver for the day were waiting for us at arrivals in Denizli so there was zero stress, and the tour was off to a great start! First was Pamukkale and Heirapolis, then a refreshing swim in Cleopatra's Pool. After seeing all the sights in the area, we started the drive to Ephesus. The car was really comfortable, and our driver drove very safely, so we were able to totally relax, and even took a nap. On the way to Ephesus we stopped for delicious and very filling traditional Turkish lunch at a lovely ranch farm, and also enjoyed a visit to a rug centre, where we learned about Turkish rug-making - it was very informative and unlike other weaving centres (like Cappadocia), thankfully the staff here did not try the hard sell!! We took another break from driving to visit the Virgin Mary's house, and do a tour of a leather factory where we learned about traditional Turkish lambskin leather-goods, and then finally arrived at the Ephesus Ruins refreshed and ready to see this amazing site and learn all about it! Furkan was so knowledgeable about everything we saw, but especially he had so much interesting information to share about the Ephesus Ruins, which made the experience so fun and the time just flew by. At the end of the day, he also went out of his way to help us find a particular, uncommon souvenir we were looking for, before dropping us off at the airport right on time for our late flight back to Istanbul. The only thing of the day that did not go smoothly was the airport transfer driver to return us to our hotel was not waiting for us when we arrived back in Istanbul and was over 30 minutes late to pick us up, and then he also got lost. So we finally arrived back at our hotel 1.5 hours later than scheduled, which was a frustrating and tiring end to an otherwise excellent day. However, overall I can gladly recommend this tour and especially our wonderful guide Furkan to anyone wanting to see the best of these two historical areas in a single day and learn a ton about all the ancient sites! Great value for time and money!!! Thank you Furkan!!Written August 13, 2024
- Venture583088740800 contributionsA good way to spend the day.We enjoyed the day, taking in 1500 year old sites like the Hagia Sophia and learning about Istanbul in general. For this reason, we recommend a guide (like Tunç) who can really elucidate much of what New Rome (Istanbul) has to offer. Even so, be ware of the upselling, especially in places like the Grand Bazaar, and the potential for additional entry fees that your tour company may not cover—presumably, to enable you to remain flexible about what sites you visit as well as protect their margins. In all, relax, take it all in, and set your limits.Written August 9, 2024
- GiGi15170 contributionsA 5+ guide and tourWe hit a home run with our tour guide, Sedat, from Get Your Guide. He was the consummate professional with 35 years of guiding experience and a wealth of historical and cultural information which he readily shared. We ate lunch, at his suggestion, at Nars, which had both outstanding food and service. Sedat readily adjusted our itinerary and graciously delivered us to our evening tour and provided us with many restaurant suggestions for the following morning. Thank you, Sedat, for many memories of your beautiful city and country.Written June 28, 2024
- timinstcloud0 contributionsUnforgettable Trip In EphesusOur guide, Ebru, was amazing! We found her as soon as we stepped out of the cruise terminal. She was professional and friendly. Super knowledgeable about Ephesus and showed as the ins and outs of the site. She even offered to look after our kids in the shades so we could explore the theater and library on our own. I can’t recommend her higher. Most memorable trip through out the cruise.Written June 26, 2024

- 847helenab0 contributionsBest value for money ever1st time in Istanbul and by myself. The option of the guide and the driver was the best one because I visited all top points in security and comfort not too much walking always water and AC. Baris, the guide, explained everything, took me to the spots, new how to avoid queuing and answered all my question and had an infinite patience when I got hungry or tired. Highly recommend the 3 days tour with Baris.Written June 21, 2024
- ryanmac240 contributionsExcellent full tour of Istanbul! 5🌟Upon arriving into Istanbul the whole place was daunting and absolutely massive! Our apprehension was alleviated when we met our guide for the two days we where here. His name was Burhan Doru and his knowledge and expertise in this city and it's historical sites is outstanding. The things we noticed like skipping long cues and getting us the best prices. On the whole it was fantastic and an excellent tour if you don't like missing out on anything as everything was covered. Thankyou for your time and effort Burhan Istanbul wouldn't have been the same experience without you. 5 🌟 Ryan & Ross from Scotland.Written June 19, 2024

- marisasif0 contributionsOnly one day — and we saw so much! What a great day with Onur seeing the sights of the old city! Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and more! This was exactly what we were looking for as an introduction to Istanbul particularly given the limited time for our stopover. We learned and saw so much. We’ll definitely be back!Written June 8, 2024

I am not one for tours. I have been on many tours where I have been disappointed and some that were meh. This was by far the best tour experience I have ever had. It was incredibly organized, and we saw many things that, had we been on our own, we never would’ve known to see. Both of our guides, Kayak in Ephesus and Midhet in Cappadocia, were professional and knowledgeable, and they both made the experience so much better for us. Everything- flights, meals, and accommodations were organized so well,. The transportation everywhere was comfortable, timely, and safe. We were happy with our accommodations, especially the cave hotel. I truly couldn’t recommend this three-day tour and your tour company enough. Thank you for making our Turkey vacation that much better!
