Hilal Aslan was the best guide for myself and my wife on our first day in Istanbul. She tailored the day 1 tour to our priorities and gave helpful advice on the tour plan. She gave just the right amount of detailed description in an easy way to understand. We appreciated her objective explanation of the history. We visited all the places we wanted to visit even though the weather was cold and snowing. She was very hospitable and also funny at times. Highly recommend Hilal Aslan as your tour guide!

Gurkan was an excellent guide and I would highly recommend him. He was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. He made us feel comfortable and introduced local street food and great restaurants. His guidance was very informative and made our trip efficient and memorable.

GIT team was very helpful in curating this tour, as the plan was to see as many places in 7 days. The tour was seamless since we arrived in Istanbul and GIT handled our domestic flight bookings and check-ins, entrance ticket purchases and airport transfers. The entire team was very punctual, responsive and attentive. Another outstanding point of the tour is definitely the guides. Mr Kemal (Istanbul), Mr Unluer (Cappadocia) & Ms Pinar (Ephesus), who were very knowledgeable, pleasant and very accomodating. Through them, we had the opportunity to have a wonderful and memorable time in Turkey.

We did a 1 day walking tour with Mustapha and it was fantastic. Mustapha is very knowledgeable & informative. He paced the tour to our needs, allowing time to appreciate each site, & not having to queue for tickets was great! A really enjoyable day - would highly recommend it, especially with Mustapha as your guide.

We took the 3 day guided tour with Hilal as our guide! She was exceptional with her service! Not only was she very knowledgeable on the Turkish history, but also well versed with every corner of Istanbul. She went all out of her way to accomadate our requests and took very nice pictures. Overall, a very memorable 3 days in Istanbul with her by our side. Will always recommend her to all our friends and family!

I had the great privilege of having a 2 day tour of Istanbul with Serkan Dalkilik. He is extraordinary. His knowledge of the city, his organization and consideration, and his enthusiasm are unparalleled. I have travelled extensively and have never had a guide nearly as good as Serkan.

I had an incredible two-day experience exploring Istanbul with Ozan as my guide. As a solo American traveler, I was a bit nervous at first, but Ozan’s warmth, expertise, and passion for the city put me completely at ease. He took me to some of Istanbul’s most captivating spots—the mystical Basilica Cistern, a rejuvenating traditional hammam, and the bustling Grand Bazaar—all while sharing fascinating historical insights and local stories. Not only did Ozan make sure I got the most out of my limited time, but he also captured amazing photos that perfectly encapsulated my adventure. His keen eye for detail and genuine care for my experience made this quick stop before heading home truly unforgettable. I can’t recommend Ozan enough for anyone looking to dive deep into Istanbul’s rich culture and history.

Had a great tour with Tuba! She navigated the tour with a lot of information and also was very flexible with the needs of our group! 100% recommend Tuba if you can get her!

We took the “Day-1” tour of Istanbul and booked at the last minute. The confirmation, and communication from the tour operator was prompt and informative. Our guide Aytac was great. He is a historian and so provided fantastic commentary on the cultural significance of the landmarks. He knew all the right places to get the best photos, the good places to eat and was flexible about the itinerary to ensure we did not get too tired. He went out of his way to show us the Spice Market on his own time, and also arranged for us to visit a leather factory. Aytac provided a personal touch to the tour experience, was sincere and friendly, spoke fluent English, was well informed and is our recommended guide.

The front desk staff were patent and pleasant. My special request was fulfilled (quiet room for a grouchy old man and his lovely wife) and the price was lower than many more expensive hotels that we have stayed at. Breakfast was on time and the hot stuff was hot and cold stuff was cold. The lady running the breakfast kept it well-stocked. This hotel appears to be well maintained and it is located near plenty of shopping and restaurants. It is also convenient to parks, historical sites, and downtown. There is even a sidewalk along the road if you want to just take a stroll.

It was a great experience, and I highly recommend it if you’re visiting Turkey, specifically Istanbul, for a short time. I was there for only two days, and it was perfect that Ahmed showed me all the historical sites while also explaining the history and significance of the area on the European side. He was very clear in his explanations, and we visited many places. He also gave me valuable recommendations when shopping, for example, at the Grand Bazaar or the Spice Bazaar. Having a guide is important, especially in my case, as it was a private tour. He showed me where to shop without worrying about being overcharged as a foreigner, ensuring I got fair prices. I definitely recommend this experience. Ahmed was very kind and helpful. He also took many pictures of me, which was important. Overall, 100% recommended!

The expectations we had for a private tour were not met. The guide gave us scattered pieces of information rather than an organized summary of the history of the sites we visited. Her English was suboptimal. In all previous tours we have had, the guide would suggest a place or two for lunch break. This guide chose for us the restaurants (both days) and invited herself to join us for lunch. It was not a huge expense but I was surprised by the approach. Nowhere in the agreement for the expensive tour did they mention that I was responsible for the guide’s lunch. In summary, the private tour was not worth the money. You are better off getting audio-guided tours; you will learn more about Istanbul and spend $500 less.

We were a group of 5 adults, visiting Instanbul for the first time. We opted for the one day tour. We decided we d like to.explore on foot and Mehmet did an excellent job of showing us around. He was informative, funny and genuinely nice person . He took us to.all the popular spots and never made us feel rushed. He gave some lovely food recommendations as well. He listened to what we would like to do and accordingly planned the day for us. We have experienced many tour guides from all over the world, but he has been by far the best! I would highly recommend his services. The team probably has other good guides as well, but I would definitely ask for him!

Excellent!!! Feyza was very informative and really enjoyed sharing her knowledge. She was with us for 3 days. As being senior citizens she was concerned on how we were doing and always asking what we would like to do. We would highly recommend her to anyone visiting!!
