My tour guide was Ipek! She was amazing! She was very responsive to texts and answered all my questions with good advice. She was always on time. It was raining heavily during the 1.5 days I was in Istanbul and even though I was prepared for this, she also brought an umbrella for extra protection. I had booked a tour to see the whirling dervishes and she took me there and waited for me until I was done. I am vegetarian and she made sure to pick appropriate places to eat. I highly recommend booking with Ipek

Emir -- our walking guide was fantastic. he started the tour at the heart of the historic Istanbul and charted a customised plan to suit our preferences mixing history and cullinary culture of Istanbul.. We went to Blue Mosque and Emir ezplained the historic, architectural, and political/social aspects of the monument and the religion so well.. he knows the city inside out and took us to taste some of the most authentic kunefe and chai through small lanes of historic part of Istanbul .. Emir was great to chat with, and absolutely went out oglf the way to plan our days in Istanbul (even if it was clearly not his task) Recommend highly

Having Burak as my guide was the highlight of my trip to Turkey, and one I will never forget. He imbued me with the most detailed and passionate history of the city, far more than I thought possible while traveling afar. I've never had a guide that knew so much about the history and culture of a place I'd visited, he made exploring so much more intriguing, you feel connected to the city/culture when you're lucky enough to have him at your side. An extremely caring, fun, genuine individual who literally takes you under his wing (as apposed to just points and reads, like so many others). I can't say enough good stuff about him. Again reiterating on how passionate he is about the city he lives but also on teaching those with him about a multitude of things, none of which are usually provided from a guide. I look forward to touring with him again when next I'm in Turkey again.

The tour was well organized and the communication was great. They waited for us at the airport after a long time to pass immigration and get our next flight tickets. Mohamed was our guide and gave us a history lesson on Istanbul, then started showing us the main sites of the city. Even though they are all close to each other there is a time restriction as when to go inside. The drive from/to the airport was a little over an hour. We visited Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, hippodrome, and walked through the grand market. We had dinner at an authentic Turkish restaurant and then back to the airport. If you have a long layover I highly recommend this tour. Our layover was 11 hours, but you need to discount the driving time, the time from landing to you actually get out of the airport, and the time you need to be at the airport before your departure. We had a good experience and gave us a taste of the city to want to return again

The stroll around Istanbul was amazing. I brought a list of sites I wanted to see and Emir augmented it with local knowledge and sites off the beaten path that made the experience exceptional. His depth of historical knowledge on the sites and of the city both ancient history and of current events of Turkey was great. 5 stars for his tour!

The experience with Tugba was extraordinary. Tugba is a person attentive to details who knows many secrets of Istanbul. She took us to many places that are not mentioned as objectives and took into account our requests. We are a family with two children, but Tugba knew how to make even the little ones feel good. We thank her and hope to see you again on other occasions!

Bukak Gulcan was our guide for the day. He knew so much about everything, history, religion, architecture and day to day life in Turkey. We learn and saw so much. Additionally, he was able to get us to the front of the line in most situations. Saving us time. My husband that I was traveling with knows a lot about the history of the region, but Burak knew more and my husband really enjoyed learning beyond what he has read.

Tugba was an absolute delight! We spent 3 hours walking and talking with her about Turkish history and modern life as she showed us around Istanbul. We promised to come again for a longer stay next time since we know we only touched the surface. Tugba provided a very welcoming introduction to Türkiye.

Istanbul is a large and diverse city – and it was wonderful to have someone like Feruza show us around. We started our day with a tram ride from our hotel-area to the Old Town, where we descended into the sprawling Grand Bazaar and Spice Market. What an experience! Yet the best part of our time together was talking about the city and its people, sitting outdoors at a café, and getting to know each other personally. We enjoyed seeing some off-beat areas of the city, eating street food amongst the din of the vendors and the conversations of the locals, and generally walking about and taking in all the sights-n-sounds of this fantastic city. And all of this is thanks to our special host/friend, Feruza.

Jamal is a great tour guide and we really appreciated how he took us to see the Balat neighborhood when we decided that the Grand Bazaar was not what we had expected.

She met us at the airport, took us up to olde towne where we got to see the bazaar, the blue mosque, a subterranean museum, and got to enjoy the local cuisine.
