Badly organised and run. You get to the boat via a scruffy dock area. Once on board nobody tells you anything. A lot of people were upstairs and they weren't told the lunch was open.
The drinks are overpriced, the lunch was mediocre at best. We didn't set off until around 14:30.
The hour stop was actually only 40 mins in which there's no time to do anything.
Not worth 35 Euro each.

We enjoyed the time on the water and seeing the sites this way. The food was good and plentiful. The boat we were on was “well used” but functioned well. It was difficult to hear the tour guide over the speakers in the beginning but that was later remedied. We saw the Black Sea in the distance but didn’t get to sail on it which was disappointing. Stopped on the Asian side for 30 minutes so we could take a walk. Probably not necessary. All in all, a pleasant experience and we would do again.

They are totally thieves and imposters. We took one day tour (ST-06; in their brochure) for family of 5. They charged me 320 Euro including my 6 year old son. However, I noticed that their crew didn’t provide any services to my son during the trip considering like I didn’t pay him and that included to serving the lunch in the boat. Infact they just totally neglected him. Also, their free lunch was pathetic and meager. Also, we had to pay for drinks like water (hidden charge) that was not mentioned before hand. Lunch was delivered around 3:00 pm due to the shortage of staff - can you believe. The tour guy didn’t let us spend more than 1.5 hours over Dolmabahce Palace and that was the main attraction to stay longer than that. The reason being they had started about an hour late in the morning - a total chaos. The rest of mentioned attractions (Asian Hill, Bosphorus Bridge, Pierre Lori Hill, Cable Car, etc) in their brochure are nothing but scam and an hour bus drive. When I sent them a complaint email than it got back mentioning Mail Deivery Failed; they don’t have any website. I WOULD NOT recommend this company to anyone. Stay cautious as Istanbul is full of these types of crooks.

Absolutely nothing was delivered as promised. We went towards the Black Sea but did not go to the Black Sea. There was supposed to be soft drinks and fruit with lunch, which there wasn’t. We were supposed to stop for swimming and we didn’t. The toilets were disgusting and the lady helping on board, when not doing anything, was either picking her nose, picking her ears, picking her teeth or spitting onto the deck floor. I could not get off there quick enough. Save your money.

We were picked up from hotel on time (1230pm), then taken to the boat via a few other hotel pickup. Arrived to boat at 130pm.
But then, we waited on the boat for over another hour, as apparently we were one of the first round of pickups and there were more to do. So we waited while those passengers arrived. Tour finally started at 245pm. If I had known that tour would not start until then, we would have spent extra time around town, then taxied to the boat later. Instead, we were waiting with no updates for the remaining guests. No service, no information. I searched for someone to tell us more about what was happening, and found one person sitting on steps having a cigarette, who seemed to know what was going on but it hadn't dawned on her to tell the waiting guests what we were doing. Most guests were on the top deck (open top, great views) but it was hot so we had to work out how to close the top (got it done). When the final guests arrived and we left, the route was nice and we saw lots of interesting and grand houses and palaces. Commentary was sparse and my guidebook was more helpful. Final disappointment was the stop at the 'local village' where we were expecting to have local scene and a taste of Istanbul away from the city. The place we went to had one cafe, a playground and an ice-cream stand. We had strict 25 mins time there, (there was more commentary to remind us of the time frame and what would happen if we were late than on any other topic of the cruise) got off and ended up getting coffee, like most other passengers, then back on the boat. Cafe must love seeing this boat pulling in. Overall, it was nice to be outdoors on the water and in the sun, but this was a disappointing cruise that set good expectations but didn't deliver - better service would have made up for some of these points but it also failed on that front.

We did the day-long tour including the Bosporus lunch cruise (EUR 45 per person). I’ve never written such a detailed account of a tour but this felt like a scam and I want to make sure no one else repeats our mistake wasting money and time. The tour was advertised in one of the leaflets we were given at our hotel. Stupidly, we did not google the travel company before booking.
We were the firsts to be picked up on the day at 8:30. The driver came to the lobby of our hotel, never ever spoke to us, just gestured to follow him (we only followed him because the hotel receptionist had confirmed he was in fact our guy). The first hour was spent picking up others from their hotels before finally picking up our guide. After a short ride we reached the cable car station. The view was nice but we were given no explanation, just 'let's take 15 mins break'. We tried to ask the guide a couple of questions but his answers were very very brief and it was clear he had no interest in engaging with us (or anyone else in the group). The cable car ride was very brief and frankly felt pointless. Again, no explanation of what we were looking at.
After that we stopped at the Eyüp Sultan Mosque. The guide did not explain anything about its interesting history (luckily we had a travel book) and just told us to come back in 15-20 mins. This was followed by a stop at the Olivium shopping centre where we spent 2 hours (11:00-13:00)!!!! This was one of dingiest and most uninspiring shopping centres we'd ever seen. To be clear, this was an actual shopping centre, there were no crafts or anything traditional. We were actually quite upset to be wasting so much time whilst we could have used those hours exploring the city. Finally we headed to the boat. Owing to a road closure we had to take a rather long detour. The guide never once updated us on the change of itinerary.
Once on the boat we were served very mediocre food (Drinks were extras). During the two hour tour the guide only offered sparse commentary, turning his back at us and speaking using a microphone. The audio was very poor and it was hard to understand what he was saying.
At some point we were told we could ‘take a break’ and go on land. The two of us as well as two other passengers jumped at the opportunity but as we asked the guide (who was going to stay on board) what there was to see in that particular area he just said ‘a little garden or you can have coffee. You can have 15 mins’. As we stepped on land, very confused, trying to understand what to do (given that there appeared to be nothing to see), the boat left. Basically, they just needed the turn the boat around and this was not a place where the boat could actually moor. Obviously this is something we figured out ourselves because, once again, no one explained anything to us.
Once back on board, whilst staff were busy trying to get passengers to wear traditional dresses for a photoshoot (at a cost, obviously, and arguably not in line with COVID regulations), I asked the guide when we would stop at Beykoz as this was one of the advertised highlights of the tour, i.e. the chance to explore the Asian side. He said we were not going to, ‘the site is closed’ (!?), and that we were simply heading back, this was the end of the tour… and he had never bothered to inform us??!!!
So, all in all, very disappointing. The guide did not do anything and the itinerary is poor. The feeling of ‘we have been scammed’ stayed with us throughout the whole tour.
Silver lining, luckily Istanbul has so much else to offer and we still managed to come away with wonderful memories of the city despite the awful experience with Senkron Tours.

Pick up at 12.30pm from hotel = 2.30pm boat departure...you aimlessly drive around hotels picking up people before spending almost an hour having lunch (which is poor anyway).
Once the boat leaves the cruise is fine, but it would be the exact same view on a better boat...The guide lost interest about 30 minutes into the 3 hour tour and was intermittent after that.
As for the stopover in Beykoz... I really didn’t get the point. The town had nothing to offer in the 20 mins we were allowed off the boat. Although this is absolutely great business for the cafe opposite the boat dock.
Tips to Senkron...
1. Cut the lunch and tell people to come to the dock, or a central point for 2.15.pm
2. Hire an enthusiastic and knowledgable guide
3. Pick a far better place to have a stopover and actually allow people time spend there
Tips to the public...
1. Until the above is sorted out don’t waste your time on this tour

Hello our dear guest,
Firstly thank you for your feedback.
As you know, this is a regular tour and picking up other people is pretty normal,we stopover in Beykoz because in a single we would like to have our guests seen 2 continents in a bosphorus tour.
Again thanks for your feedback.

St-08 Half Day Bosphorus Tour
I assumed that the shuttle service to the boat from my hotel would be direct however, we ended up picking up a coach full of people, which took us 1h. It takes 20min to get to the docks from my hotel, We could have just used a Taxi. This was not addressed to us at all by both hotel or tour company. We arrived at the boat, there was no direction as to what is going on. During the stop at Beykoz the tour guide gave us strict timings for our return, and threatened if we are late that we would need to make our own way back. We only had 20min to explore the area which felt rushed. We stuck to our timings however, some people did not come on time after and additional 15 min passed I asked the tour guide when will we start to move. She very rudely said Jesus! I am counting the people on board. Poor service! I would not recommend this company.
