In addition to great motifs, I learned a lot about how to stage people. Istanbul is ideally suited for this. Kerem is an artist and conveys his passion with vigour and fun. I had a wonderful day with him and took great photos.

This tour with Kerem was excellent value. He was a most knowledgeable and enthusiastic host. He met my husband and I at our hotel and was patient and understanding with me as a novice photographer and gave me advice/tips on using different settings on my camera.
He introduced us to many different parts of this busy amazing city which we would definitely have never discovered on our own. We travelled by tram, train and ferry and had a truly wonderful time. The Grand Bazaar was amazing and Kerem helped me photograph ordinary people in every day situations like the fishermen on the bridges.
I have some great photos and memories of Istanbul thanks to Kerem and would highly recommend this photography tour. Thank you Kerem.

Kerem was an amazing guide. Not only did he provide hands on photography training that will forever change how I will take photos, but the settings he chose allowed me to see and learn about parts of Istanbul I would never have known about. Kerem is incredibly knowledgable about Istanbul, and having worked in London, the Middle East and Africa, Kerem had many interesting stories and perspectives to share. Absolutely one of the best experiences I have had while visiting a new city.
    Thank you Kerem!!!

Our whole trip has been cancelled due to the pandemic but I wanted to write about my exchanges with Kerem in planning this tour. Unlike nearly every other tour I've taken, Kerem first asked about our photography interests and the sorts of things that we like to concentrate on. He then described the different parts of Istanbul and which parts would have the most in what we were looking for. It is a horrible shame that this pandemic arose because the tour with him was one of the main highlights of what we were looking forward to.

If the world is still around, we'll be taking this same trip around the same time next year and hope to go on the tour with Kerem then. If so, I'll come back and fill you in about whether the actual tour is as good as his his planning.

Kerem was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. From street photography tips to working the bugs with my camera. He knows the best places in Istanbul for photography and while exploring will point out great places to visit and eat. He is very patient and is really interested in teaching you. I was able to tailor my time with him ahead of my trip so i knew what gear to take. Fluent English with excellent communications. I cannot wait to come back and take another tour with him.

This tour went beyond my expectations. I have undertaken a few of these bespoke photographic/ cultural tours in different cities and this one was one of my favourites. Firstly, communication with Kerem was excellent, who has lived and studied in the UK. The tour was exceptional, comprehensive (many hours) seeing many many unusual hidden spots which would be impossible to find as a tourist. We had a great meal, went on the ferry, and did a lot of walking. My top tip is that fitness and ability to walk allows you to get the best of this day. Excellent value for money and day well spent. Many thanks

This was by far the highlight of my trip to Istanbul! Kerem does a phenomenal job of taking you off of the metaphorical beaten path to show you parts of Istanbul that you likely wouldn’t otherwise see or have the opportunity to photograph. His knowledge of Istanbul and it’s history is outstanding as is his knowledge of photography. Flexible to clients interests and needs. Would VERY highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Istanbul!

An excellent walk around. Kerem took us on the metro and ferry to see some of the sights and places we would not have otherwise found.

I have visited Istanbul a few times before but i have never quite experienced it like i did on this tour. Firstly, Kerem is an exceptional guy with an incomparable cultural, artistic and creative awareness of the city he calls home. He was incredibly polite, well-spoken and an absolute joy to spend 7 hours of the day with. The tour itself was massively informative and thoroughly enjoyable. Kerem is aware of various hidden gems throughout the city and takes the time to explain their historical and cultural significance. We covered a large area and got to experience Istanbul from the eyes of a well informed local. As for the photography side of things, Kerem was kind enough to share some top tips which came in very handy for a beginner like me. I will definitely be doing this trip again and strongly urge everybody to do the same. You will need an adequate fitness level as the vast majority of the route was covered on foot. Other modes of transport during the day include bus, tram and even a ferry ride with spectacular panoramic views of the Bosphorus and Golden Horn.
