Turkiye, what a surprise! The food, the archeological sites, the balloon ride were all experiences that I had with Serendipity tours! The bonus was our tour guide Veysel! You felt you just didn’t have a tour guide, but a friend as well. He made sure your accommodations were suitable, that you had lots of water during the day, and helped arrange activities outside of the tour, like a wine tasting. His knowledge of history, folklore, and his sense of humor, made for a very good trip. Thank you, Veysel!

Just returned from an incredible tour of Turkey with Serendipity. I've been communicating with Fazli since before Covid, when our first planned trip had to be cancelled. Fazli has been very responsive to all my Email and flexible with all my requests. In fact, I asked to add an extra day in Istanbul to our 10 day tour, and that was no problem (and I highly recommend the change if possible). We were a group of three and we joined two other couples who we did not know for a total of 7 people in our group. All of our accommodations were well located (two blocks from Hagia Sofia in Istanbul), very clean, and generally with comfortable beds. Overall, the food was good, but there was some variance between the 5 or so hotels in which we stayed. The restaurants we visited for our lunches were all excellent. The days were well paced (with a few days of much walking at some of the ancient sites). The days we had long drives were broken up with site visits along the way and plenty of breaks. There's a lot to see and do in Turkey, and the sites were incredible. Our guide Veysel was top notch! I can't imagine having a better guide. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the country and the sites, as well as other relevant historical facts and situations that really tied together the stories and the information, he provided to us. He was also very flexible in meeting our extra requests when that was possible. For example, we fit in some tasting at a local winery in Cappadocia. Overall, a great experience, and I highly recommend Serendipity.

One of the most amazing tours I have ever been on Veysel was an amazing guide so knowledgeable and Will by to the extra mile to satisfy the groups needs Fersvi the driver was also great so kind nd I am a seasoned traveller and this is the best tour I have been involved in In a short time we saw the key elements of Turkey

Veysel Gokhan Bayam aka Vase to our group was wonderful. His english is great and his knowledge of all the history is amazing. I was blown away with his infinite knowledge of all the biblical historical sites we went to. Along with all the mythology stories that tied into all that we saw. The hotels chosen with our group was excellent - some were beyond what we expected. I hope to do this tour again and also add more days to see more of Turkey. And definitely with this tour company. They arranged PCR tests at our hotel before our departure - which worked out great. This company and Vase are truly the best if you want to see Turkey. And our driver " the Sultan " was such a nice man and a great driver too.

Highly recommend this trip and Serendipity overall. We booked a 7 day trip for April 2021 and turned out, our trip was during Ramadan and a pretty strict lockdown in Turkey. It was a great trip because the owner, Fazli, is an incredibly gifted guide and wonderful person. He and his driver were great hosts, nice, extremely knowledgeable, gracious, and excellent communicators. It was definitely an unusual time to travel, however, the hospitality from Fazli, all of the hotels, restaurants, sites were beyond our expectations, We saw great sites, including Gallipoli, Canakkale, Troy, Pergamon, Ephesus, Selcuk-Kusadasi,Pamukkale, Konya, Cappadocia and highly recommend traveling with Fazli and Serendipity Travel.

Serendipity Tours Turkey really looked after me during the whole trip and Fazli was a great guide and I learnt a lot throughout the tour. Very comfortable vehicle and accommodation was great everywhere we went. Loved trying local foods. They were very responsive in all communication and worked around the dates I had already booked my flights on. As an Australian (with a family member who fought there) I really appreciated going to Gallipoli and also hearing the history from a Turkish perspective. It was very moving. The Hagia Sophia was beautiful and the Topaki Palace were 2 of my favourite places to visit in Istanbul. There were some places we couldn't go to because of COVID-19 restrictions, and places taking that time to schedule reconstruction work, so the Blue Mosque, for example, was limited in what could be seen, and the underground cistern was closed. I really enjoyed my time in Turkey with Serendipity Tours Turkey.

Myself and David have just finished a marvellous tour of Istanbul and Western Turkey ending up in Cappadocia and Istanbul. It was winter and so we had a lot of luck with the weather. We were in the safe and considerate hands of our tour guide Fazli and the ever- capable driver, Mr Fezmi. Fazli was a fountain of knowledge and we gained a great insight into contemporary and ancient Turkey. At all times we knew we were in good hands and had an amazing experience. I left my passport behind in one of the hotels and Fazli solved the problem without blinking. The outcome could have been so much different. We had great travel partners on this small snow- capped tour and could not have been luckier. We really recommend this way of seeing and learning about Turkey. We can't say enough wonderful things about our recent tour of Turkey. FAZLI and Mr. FEBZI were amazing. We were greeted warmly each day. We were totally immersed in Turkish culture. The weather was great, the education outstanding and the food superb. We had a customized tour and couldn't have asked for more. The days were filled with activity and beautiful sights. Just when you couldn't think of seeing something more beautiful, Fazli didn't disappoint. He always had another beautiful sight the next day! Oh, and the food. We took a 3 week personalised tour around Turkey with Serendipity Tours. The tour was fantastic. Our guide, Fazli, is extremely well informed and shares his knowledge freely. He's also extremely caring, ensuring a high level of customer service all the way. He will ensure you get to see all the main sights but he will work hard to help you avoid queues where possible. He works out what you like and tailors the tour accordingly. We put the itinerary together over email. He was very efficient and very open to my suggestions of places to go and hotels to stay. It was a very collaborative process and the end result was excellent. We travelled around in a large Mercedes van which was very comfortable. Our driver, Mr Fevzi, was also very accommodating and patient. We've taken many tours around the world and this would have to be one of the best. We did price out several options in Turkey and this was one of the better priced options. We totally recommend travelling with Serendipity Tours.

My husband and I booked this tour without any real expectations. From the moment we booked the tour, our guide Fazli, communicated with us via e-mail about our arrival flight and interests. Upon arrival to Turkey, Fazli was at the airport waiting for us. He called the driver and we were immediately picked up in a Mercedes Benz 10 passenger vehicle. We were taken to the hotel, Fazli indicated points of interest to have dinner and let us know the time he would pick us up from the hotel the following morning for the Blue Mosque tour. Fazli and the driver were always punctual with their pick up times. Fazli was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs and desires. Fazli was great about indicating if we should wear tennis shoes or how much walking we would be doing. In the vehicle he always had cold water and made sure we took some on our walking tours. Fazli was flexible with the program as my husband wanted to visit the Ataturk Olympic Stadium and Fazli made it possible. My husband was beyond happy! If anyone is even minimally considering visiting Turkey, please do so! You will not regret it. The people are so friendly, the food is amazing and Fazli the tour guide is very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The tour we booked included breakfast, lunch and dinner in the price. It was so nice to have Fazli recommend the foods we should try because we would always visit authentic Turkish restaurants (i.e. the restaurants the locals visit). Every single dish we tried we loved, but our absolute favorites were the pides (pizzas). Visiting Capadoccia was a bucket list item and spending the night in a cave was a once in a lifetime experience. From the beginning I expressed to Fazli my desire to book the hot air balloon ride and we were able to fly in one because he did the reservations in advance. We have amazing memories from this trip. Upon arrival to the U.S. we have recommended Turkey and Serendipity Tours to all of our friends. Fazli will take care of our friends and we know they will have an amazing time.
